  1. Please start a thread about it AH, as some others may find they want to do the same thing. $25.00 shipped will be the final price in the USA. Peeps respect your ideas & I think it's a worthwhile idea. If it takes off, you will get some kinda special consideration in the future.... I have an old Summit sticker I can send ya... LOL Ed
  2. All things Quadzilla would be best done with XP. If all you have is W7, right click the update software & click "Properties" then "Compatibility, Then check the box for Windows XP (SP3) click "Apply" Then try to run the program again. Ed
  3. I see it as a cooling issue. I THINK dead pedal issues in the VP44 itself are caused by a computer malfunction & removing the most heat will reduce those malfunctions. Mercruiser & the QSB Cummins both use fuel to cool their ECMs. This is just my line of thinking. Ed
  4. I think I get it. The fuel comes in the rear port into the chamber, goes through the small machined port, past the pop off valve, then I guess to the vein pump & then backwards to the distributor pump. Ed
  5. Nick, that's how it looked to me. Hmmmm....... I wonder about hogging out the relief valve for better flow? I just think a diagram as to how it flows will help people understand how IMPORTANT having over 14 PSI at all times. Ed
  6. I never believed a woman that said she had a diaphragm, either.... So, I would like to see a detailes flowpath of fuel for the computer. From the inlet to the 14PSI overflow valve. Can we confirm that that fuel does actually cool the puter?
  7. It's morning, do you have it stripped & catalogged? Ed
  8. There is a tappet cover that runs the length of the engine on the drivers side. Very common to leak. Gonna have to pull the VP44 for that, if it is that one. Ed
  9. I concur with the overboost defueling. Get a boost fooler or small tuner like the Edge EZ that does fooling & will add a bit of pep, MPGs & not tax the stock trans. Ed
  10. The OEM pump never supplied enough pressure & flow to cool the computer on the VP44 injection pump from the beginning. Ed
  11. I started at -8*F with 2 cycles of the grid heaters & the smoke cleared up in about a minute. But, them Cougars are hot. Just duct tape one to the oil pan & it should start right up... Ed
  12. Keep them cougars warm.... Ws
  13. Now you know how to replace that useless cubbyhole with a pretty high idle switch.... Hint hint... Ed
  14. Now, email me your address at the same email. Ed
  15. PP to yankneck696@yahoo.com I'll get it shipped out tomorrow or saturday. Ed
  16. I just checked, same sender for all of them. $15 shipped for the extension sound fair? Ed
  17. John, do you need the extension for a 2nd gen or 3rd gen? Ed
  18. John, if I can figure it out, would you like to beta test? Ed
  19. My intake cover gasket like many others came out in a couple dozen pieced. It's real easy to do while you are in there. It's pretty easy. I used the regulat cork gasket on myne & didn't know about the 3rd gen working. Ed
  20. 3rd gen works via the cruise control (except real early 03 models) with a dealer flash. I do not have the upper console, so have no idea of the dimensions. If you could tale yours apart & show pics with measurements, it would be a great help. Ed
  21. I would suggest to do the intake gasket because it's easy with most of the lines removed & return T grommets while in there due to moving the VP return line around. Get all new crush gaskets for the banjos & heck do the back of the head banjo too. 5 hours is all it took for me. Ed
  22. I am wondering how many would like a harness long enough to reach the upper console? Ed
  23. Killer, in all honesty, if I counted all of my R&D time, I barely made $10 per hour. Profit will come in on later orders. Ed
  24. www.dieselautopower.com under Dodge 98.5-02 Electronics. There is a plate that replaces the cubby hole, a gauge pod & a 2.125" round plate to mount where you like They are $150 shipped, I believe. Soon there will be a longet harness that will allow mounting in the upper console. Ed
