  1. I have an HO in my 01 auto & it runs fine. Only thing to watch for is added timing from a tuner box. Also, the SO has more "Capability" for higher power in the long run, as it has larger plungers. Ed
  2. So, it's a glorified oil pump... Ed
  3. I think it's a gearotor pump. Ed
  4. Crossover tubes are the part between the injector lines & the injector, going through the side of the cylinder head. Ed
  5. If you get the ECM, PCM, harness & power center from a donor truck, you should be good. Ed
  6. Crank/cam sensors go to the ECU. The VP44 has it's own tone wheel & hall effect sensor. Ed
  7. He also swapped out drilled crossovers, too. Ed
  8. He has done compression & leakdown tests, 3 sets of injectors, crossover tube O rings, now had the pump inspected by Industrial Injection. Ed
  9. Just trying to come up with an answer for something that I cannot answer.... Ed
  10. It really takes a dial indicator. I can send you one to do it right. We just need to hire our own driver between us.... LOL Ed
  11. Could a cam lobe be worn? Just an idea... Ed
  12. I have seen about 30 people find success with swapping like I have stated. I know of no one that has changed the cam gear. There is something about the angle, or how it reads, I am not sure. Ed
  13. If the IAT (Intake Air Temp) sensor is reading wrong, yes you could have advanced timing. The MPG position on the fooler completely bypasses the IAT. Ed
  14. If you look above, there is a buss connector (Behind left side of dash). If you can recieve the data from the OBD port, you may just have a loose connection under there. Ed
  15. Wouldn't that be the same pressure read in the gallery? Just asking... Ed
  16. Mount it in the spare spot on top of the oil filter housing. Ed
  17. I concur. Sounds like the connections are good to under the dash. Pull the console & clean/tweak the contacts up there. Ed
  18. Actually, Floriduhh only has a saly issue on the east coast. Brevars County is the most corrosive environment in the USA. 4 year old AC condensors (Home/business) have the fins 1/2 eaten away. Ed
  19. What about that silly air stuff? Ed
  20. Obviously, they are not working right. You need an ECM, PCM, wiring harness & power center from a 98.5-00 truck, like I have said. Otherwise, it will not work right. Ed
  21. Not that I know of. You may also have to get the VIN numbers programmed into the ECM & PCM by the dealership. Ed
  22. I would guess you mean the "Pan"? Ed
  23. There's been at least 30 people in the last 2 years I know of that to get the truck to run properly, at minimum need ECM, PCM, engine harness & power center from the engine range. As I said earlier, some have needed the gauge cluster and or the CTM. CTM is usually due to the donor or recipient truck having a factory security system. Ed
  24. They all need to match the year range of the engine. Sometimes, the gauge cluster and/or Central Timer Module is needed. Ed
  25. Mine was built 02/00 & is a 2001. Ed
