  1. For the time being, put it in 1st at every stoplight, then "D", until you can get an OSS (Output speed sensor), Gov sensor, Gov solenoid, change fluid & adjust bands. Ed
  2. I never took my EZ off of #3. FL to UT total weight of 19,500 all stock (Except cut off exhaust) I got 15 MPG doing 60ish MPH. Ed
  3. I second the EZ... Run it on #3. Some have a jumper, some have an in cab switch. You NEED one for 98.5-00, as the connectors are different for 02 & 02. Ed
  4. Mu dash pad is perfect. It's just the rest that's missing. Plumber's strap holds my parts in place.... Ed

  11. A newbie with a Smarty is probably better than a Dodge tech with a DRB. Especially after the nightmares of High Idle flashing that happened last year. Ed

  13. With a cab & chassis, you cannot assume anything. They were made with many different frame lengths. Ed
  14. I use old corrugated plastic political signs cut to the inner dimensions of the grill & spray paint them black. 5 zip ties hold each in place. Ed
  15. PVC is cheap. Glue it all & if you ever have to remove it, cut it, then put a coupling on to reinstall. Ed

  19. It's the right thing to do. Ed
  20. You want as much thread engagement as you can get, with the washers & chain tight to the block. A common mistake is to use long bolts that bend & possibly distort the threads, or worst case crack the block. Ed
