My kit had new ones with it.

Same as mine

Do you have a level kit on yours? I can't remember if that 4th gen steering kit fits on stock height trucks.

I put mine on my truck when it was stock height and it fit just fine, though I did have to trim the studs down like @jlbayes said because the 16" wheels were a little tight.

Now the truck has 17" wheels and has a 1.5" leveling kit so I have all the room in the world!

I have an update on the 3rd gen brakes for those who asked.

Driving unloaded around town, the change in the pads is not noticeable.

When towing, they are very noticeable. I'm on my way to Kansas for a week with a 20' enclosed trailer (about 6000#) and I notice a stronger response from the front brakes. They are well worth the upgrade.

Looks good man. Truck has a nice stance to it even with the trailer loaded! I think I'm ditching my 2in level for a 1in.

Good to hear about the brake upgrade, when I start towing more, I'll be looking at this upgrade more seriously.

Just ditch all the lift kits. Mine sits on the stock suspension and with my 5th wheel the rear ends sits at near 6k pounds and sits as level as it gets.post-10340-138698181485_thumb.jpg

If I towed that heavy often I definitely would run all stock.

Same here...

What looks horrid is a leveled truck towing a trailer and having the headlights in the sky, rear bump sagging down like a squatting Ford. Best not to level the truck also fewer issues with the front axle

I dont move my trailer  but 4 or 5 times a year for maybe 3k miles at most. But I have always liked the rake of the truck. Just looks like it's asking slap a load on it a go. All personal preference I guess.

Doing air bags this summer with on board air to fix that issue hopefully

I totally agree with the weight distribution part! @trreed I'm still surprised at how level it sits with that amount of weight on it considering you have 1.5in of lift up front. That's only .5in less then mine and I think I'd be headlights to the sky with that same load! I need smaller tires and to drop the front a bit stat!
