Then when you put Ripley+wiring+electrical trouble shooting in the same sentence, that just spells trouble.

That's what your Buddy @JAG1 though about putting JAG1 and VP44 injection pump together. He made it through and got the injection pump installed. I'm sure we can guide you through the wiring just as well.

I am sure of that one. Just need that time commodity. The AC compressor in the wife's Saturn decided to grind itself up. Got all the parts in so thats this weekends project. I bought the same parts I did for the trucks R&R but paid almost 2.5 times as much for them. Then doing the work is going to be tougher due to the locations of some of the parts. The only bad part on the truck was the compressor since I had to lay on the ground to swap it and that was not that bad at all. The compressor for the Saturn is right on top and easy to get to, but everything else is hidden by something. The expansion valve is behind the motor. The condensor is behind the radiator which is behind the electric fans which is behind the air intake system. The accumulator I can see and get my finger tips on it so I am not sure whats got to come off to get to it. It is going to be a fun weekend.

Dripley, remember, 'slow and deliberate'! That thought worked for me along with Mopar1973Mans willingness to coach me every step of the way.

Go slow, everything step by step not pulling your hair out. Excuse me..... your feathers out.

Yuck, yuck!!! I remeber. The other thing that bugs me is I need 3 foot jack stands for this little thing. The bumber hits me shin bones. Tough working all bent over, makes my back hurt.

That reminds me i need to make a trip to the beer store.

I'll take the excavator and dig a trench around it. We'll get it perfect height for you. How wide is chicken feet so I allow enough room. Something like 4 ft. in diameter? I'll take a beer.

Stopped by son's place of work yesterday and I am taking it over there. Concrete floor, AC, and something to help with the height problem. Not a lift but I will post some pictures later.

Truck was much worse the last two nights. Would not make any power with the comp like wouldnt even get up to 55 just a complete dog. I disconnected the comp and ran perfect back home, so i called edge the next day and said they could look at it and if there was a problem with the box it would be 150 but i thought id check its power and ground before sending it out. And i found a lose connector that goes to the tapped pump wire. So gave it a shot and still ran like crap and then unplugged the comp completely and it still did it, it didnt run right with it unplugged either now. So when Im looking at my live data APPS looks fine but MAP on there stays at 30.1 inHg(which must be idle) even when its around 10psi on my boost gauge. Thats when the power stops right around 10psi it wont build up anymore than that except after a long time and it will sputter and stumble and then build more boost and still run like crap but then thats when it actually shows the inHg going up on the scanner. Could it be a bad MAP sensor? i feel like it has something to do with it just from reading the live data.

correct, but still no codes i guess i will try one though.

Could be in your plug or wiring, since you messed with it once and it worked and now it doesn't, maybe a loose connection

New MAP sensor was the ticket, it instantly ran better and i could read the map value on the live data move correctly with boost. Feels like a new truck, thanks guys for the help.

Hopefully this helps someone in the future.

I spoke to @JAG1 yesterday.  He's doing fine and busy building a new house for someone.  He hasn't been able to post here for awhile due to, he thinks, a bad server with his internet provider.  He and Mike are working on it.

Thats good to hear. Been worried about him. Glad it is electronics and not something else. Thanks for the update.

I found the problem this morning while looking for my house on a detailed map for my house. There was a box asking me to click if I wanted to see my location. When I clicked it it told me my location had to be corrected in my privacy settings. So I did that and it worked.

So glad to be back with all you guys. I was sick with the shingles too, was terrible dam disease, carrying a huge load in my gut made it feel like I was dying and laxitives weren't helping. Needed Dorkweeds' plumbing services. Went to the doc three times and found the shingles moved into my intestines. Taught me life is dog gone short and you should not miss out if you can.

Anyway being that I was bedridden for so long it finally got to where I felt sicker in bed. Gradually went back to work and felt better  little by little each day. Just goes to show how much we need activity to stay healthy. Sorry to get off topic here.
