DTT Assassin Mechanical Fuel Pump.

Fairly simple pump design. Now the other half of the issue I would upgrade the fuel filter setup to be before the pump with both a water separator / prefilter and a 2-3 micron fuel filter. This way both pumps are protected from any debris. Hmmm... :think:That might be the way to go in the future when my AirDog dies. I get one and make my own dual filter base setup for the pump. Just kind of sad to see something so simple cost so damn much! :spend:

Very impressive looking setup. It warms my heart to see companies put out such quality products at reasonable prices. Lets just hope that they dont start mass-producing them or sell off to an outsourced company and go cheap. One question though..... Can you adjust FP or just go with whatever it puts out?

Not sure if this is the "exact" way my Fuel Boss pump is, but I know mine yes you can adjust the pressure by adding or removing shims in the bypass valve

These look like a high quality anodized version of a pump I am very familiar with... for about $200. I am pretty sure that you would need a regulator, as well as a reducing pulley/belt and mount, but for the DIY person with some time to burn... might be fun to play with. http://www.oberdorfer-pumps.com/Spec_sheets/N1000.pdf http://www.pumpvendor.com/Oberdorfer_N1000_series.html
