  1. Morning Everyone, I downloaded the tune builder to play around with it and see if I can improve my sled pulling tune. Well after re-reading the how-to for tuning and having the visual of the graph for the low PSI timing reduct, I realized I had the the functionality of it backwards. I thought at 100% load it would be pulling all of the degrees you specify, not what it actually does, which removes timing based more load. I've read that tuning guide, and some of the other ancillary threads that Mopar1973man put up, and it never clicked/sank in/stuck as to what it was doing. So that leads me to how all of this relates to pulling.. When I am sitting at…

So Saturday, 06/12, I had a sled pull and when I got back to my spot off the track and in the pits, I exported the data log to google drive. When I got home I checked the csv file in google drive and am greeted with all of the column titles but no data. I was using the mobile hot spot on my phone since the tablet I'm using has no cellular connectivity. I've done this before with success so I don't know why this would be an issue. I did clear the old data before the run. Don't know if there is a delay on clearing everything out or something. Does turning the tablet off affect the data logs? I know there isn't a way to get the data back…

Well I finally got it. I've tested this tune and really surprised you can hold the turbo at ZERO boost even at 65 to 70 MPH. After 150 miles in bit over a 1/8 of tank used. This includes climbing two 7% grades. Really cool to see the boost hang at zero but put it against a grade it barely 5 to 10 PSI boost. EGTs are bit higher climbing so I would not suggest towing or racing with this tune. What makes this tune so neat is the 5 to 14 PSI is flat stock tune 100% no boosted fuel on CANBus. At 15 PSI up it gains at a +5 step so it gains power quickly. Now if you toss in wiretap you better be ready... It pulls extremely strong in the upper boost range. Return to cruise state …

Kind of nice to be inside the house and monitor the truck as it warms up a bit and I can finish a bit of web work before I leave for work... I just had to share this I don't know if most of you know this trick. Yuo can see the truck is just outside the window. My cellphone is on my desktop.

  5. I wanted to share some of my secrets im still learning about Quadzilla timing. I'm finding that you can start as low as 13° on the 1.5k band. This really does build way bottom end power. Im still running +4.5 step up to the next. I was playing with my economy tune and when I drop every band by -1° it really did make my truck want to rip the tires off. Boost builds super fast. Now keep in mind my injectors 7 x 0.010 @ 320 bar. Then ive got winterized fuel and daytime weather of barely 40°F. Stepping up to 14° or 15° in the 1.5k really took the power down for me under current fuel and temperature. As for my summer tune as the winterized fuel came on…

Have a 1999 2500 Cummins 4x4 auto, installed the quadzilla adrenaline and all was working good then the boost started intermittently dropping out and now shows no boost, wondering if anyone else has run into this? I did back probe the quad and the MAP sensor voltage matches what the snap on scanner is reading as well. Sent the module in already and they said everything is fine and sent it back Thanks for any help

  7. Hey Guys, I've tried researching this but haven't had any luck, I have a 1999 24V installed into a 2008 F350. Im currently running the Quadzilla adrenaline V2 in the truck. The issue I've been running into is my boost readings on the quadzilla side are inconsistent and cause the truck to ramp up then fall on its face, and over again. I say quadzilla side because i tapped into the J1939 connection, ( 3 Pin Deutsch connector ) and monitored what my Dodge ecu was seeing and what my Ford PCM was seeing. (My wiring harness are separate (ford /Dodge ) from one another and are NOT intertwined and are not sharing information from the same sensors.) But my readings from both the P…

Got up this morning got hitched up to go get a load of firewood back in the Nezperce Forest. I managed to get heading up the dirt road climbing a fair grade. I'm like 25 miles back in the forest. It was pulling good at 25 to 30 MPH and then all of sudden lost power and fell on its face. Check engine light was set. I did the key trick to see what happened I got P1693 and P1475 (5V bus too high). I turned around and started back down hill. I noticed the throttle was not working correctly like a dead spot. If I left it to coast it would throttle on it own and knock. If a touched the throttle it would throttle normal after the dead spot. I got my phone out and fire up the iQu…

This URL will me earmarked for Mopar1973Man.Com where we would make a small profit for Mopar1973Man.Com. I would like to get rid of the smoke(excess fuel) at low rpms yet have the power to pull what I need. It seems like there is quite a conversation on getting the Quadzilla programed right, not sure I have the time to constantly play with it.

I have an adrenaline iQuad in my truck. One day it was working fine and then while my truck was idling I heard a pop in the combustion and I lost all communication with the Quadzilla. I unplugged the main connector and plugged it back in and it started working again for a few hours then it popped again and did the same thing. I got home and was sitting on the porch looking something up on my phone and noticed i was still connected to the iQuad wifi even though the truck was off and so was the ignition. The last couple days I've been fooling around with the module and it only seems to want to connect when I unplug the main connector and plug it back in howev…

Is there something I can do to get this temperature gauge to read over 204*? Once it reaches 204* it then drops to -40 until it gets back down to 203*

  16. I installed an adrenaline on Friday and because I have an airdog 2 165 I got my a 1/2" fuel tee with the port. Today I installed the fuel tee then the needle valve into it, then I installed the fuel pressure sender. The needle valve was completely closed, I started the truck and the quad app immediately said 53psi under fuel pressure. I turned off the truck, checked my connection and the needle valve to ensure it was closed. Started the truck again the fuel pressure now reads 48psi, so I adjusted the fuel pressure on the airdog. At that point the gauge continued to read 48psi, so I turned off the truck and restarted it and the gauge started to read 33psi. Finally I adjust…

So today leaving work I went and took off. Turbo lit like normal but as soon as the power started to come in and boost hit 29psi it just fell on its face for a second or two like it had no power. Lost all boost then it started acting like normal and would try to build boost again and would fall on its face once again. All while my foot/throttle is in the same position. It did this the whole way home. It’s acting like it’s defueling once the power starts to come in like torque management but it will do it at any speed and has never had torque management issues before. I’ve attached a a data log of it and am going to try to upload the video of it happening

ADR V2 Staging Flash - Race Only View File This base flash allows you to leave the line at a predefined Boost level. How it works, if mph is = 0 and you have "boost defueling" set the truck will limit fueling up to the boost defuel setting until mph > 0 then it will allow for full fueling. Example, if you want to leave the line at 10 psi of boost, you would set your boost defuel to 9 or 10 psi ( allow for some overhead). ensure your boost defuel is enabled. 1. Brake stand the truck and the quadzilla will only allow enough fuel for 10 psi of boost 2. lift off the brakes 3.…

  20. Team, I have a 3500 miles drive starting tomorrow...thanks Covid normally I would have flown...I am doing a surprise inspection and check in on several facilities I manage. Starting South of Seattle tomorrow and probably going as East as Denver and then back through SLC and into CA and then back up to home. My truck is an 01 HO (6 speed) with a SO pump and 75 HP injectors and 3.55. It weighs some where in the neighbor hood empty 8500lbs maybe up to 9K. I am hoping for some guidance on building a tune over the next ten days for economy. Currently I am lucky to get 14mpg (i end up with trailer regularly so that may not be accurate…
