    Seems my boost is low 10 maybe when I hit it I have edge comp set on 3x3 lot of smoke maybe leaking or glowshift hooked up wrong or plastic hose cracked hooked it up awhile ago but with my setup I should hit 30 lb quick I think or gauge is NG any ideas where to start

    Hi all, I was towing my trailer today as I was looking at cars to buy. It is a nice, heavy 18ft trailer, but I was towing empty. I got back after pulling 150 miles and noticed spots all over the front of the trailer that could have been confused w diesel splash. Crawled under and found that the leak is on the hard lines from the trans to the trans cooler, right at a plastic retainer clip about just above transfer case. Their is corrosion there, appearing that salt got held their and it corroded and swelled and today it decided to rub through or blow a pin hole.   3. Hello, I would like to know the best place to order online a transmission rebuilt kit with upgraded parts at a great price!!!! I'm from Quebec,Canada. Like solenoid upgrade.. and some hard part I need to change for my rebuild. Like overunning clutch, OD snap ring..... I've checked transpartswarehouse . cascade transmission . americain powertrainwarehouse . revmax .. I already have servo upgraded so don't want to pay for complete rebuild kit with this upgrade I have already..     Asking for a friend... Was talking with and he said he's currently running an edge chip on 5x5, 4in exhaust, K&N intake and an Airdog with no filters and that's it. He did mention he has an inline filter or some sort but didn't really catch it. Has a NV5600, truck has 250k and still running on stock VP44. He's seeing fuel pressure from 20 at idle down to 9 while under load and heavy throttle. He said he would get codes here and there that were VP related but he'd run a bottle of methane through the tank and then the codes could clear and truck would run fine. Not sure how old the airdog is but he seems to think that he's seeing those fuel pressure numbers due to …

    1999 dodge 4x4 ext cab auto fass 95 titanium draw straw in tank gauges thanks mopar man as this was the first suggestion from you 4inch mbpr Bhaf rv 275s cooper 265-75-16 hbs steering stabilizer 2 inch lift in front edge comp box seem to be dropping mpgs smoking a little more and egts getting a little higher just ordered a new Donaldson Bhaf had a amsoil on there but the outer wear got real dirty I think I'm gonna try running that crank tube down lower as everything is getting oily up top 170 k on the mileage everybody's telling me to go with a bigger injector and maybe a newer turbo any advice thanks Tom

    Some of yall may remember me posting about my truck just not running right. Biggest thing was no HP and lugging when letting out the clutch. No codes no exact anything really, so one day I had my friend come over with his scanner. We ran through all history and codes(this has been done no telling how many times and never caught it) and injector function when we finally noticed the inj pump voltage was 11.2 and we both not knowing for sure but thought this should be at least 12 volt. So I call Moparman and he said to change out fuse for inj pump, and there it was voltage jumped 12.6 truck noticeable running better. So we ohm the fuse because it looked fine, 0.002 to 0.0…

    I bought my truck with this "built" tranny... built for supposedly 8-850 hp. The snap at each gear is somewhat annoying.. alleviated somewhat.. if I guestimate when it's going to shift and back off the throttle for a softer shift. What can I do about this? Find another tranny and have it built to better suit my needs? Adjust this one somehow? Let me know... please.

    It feels like my truck is shifting funny.. seems a little inconsistent through all the gears at times. And.. while cruising at 55-60 if I let off the throttle for a second and reapply the throttle it downshifts to 3rd. here's a short clip

    Well just got in from draining the trans. and not good. I ran my magnet around in there and came out with two small chunks of gear and a bunch of fine metal shavings. I hate to run it till it fails because Wow what happen there? lol

Anyway, i have 2002 Ram 2500 5.9 HO 6 speed with 606,000 km's (376,000 miles) probably higher because the truck has always had bigger tires so the speedo is off a little. bought the truck a year ago with 589,000 km's. Truck needed alot of work.     Hi all, So I've had a slow to return brake pedal since I bought the truck a year ago, but I was hoping after a power steering and brake fluid flush it would be better. Well I finally got around to flushing them and so far it's not much if any better. It takes a solid 3 seconds for the pedal to return when the truck is warm and even more when cold. I even took apart and cleaned the valve on the high pressure power steering line at the reservoir. And I used almost 4 qts of ps fluid to do the flush. Now we did only pump the brake twice lightly while doing the ps flush, but it spewed almost a qt of ps fluid just from that so we figured that was good for the hydroboost si…

    If I tested my alternator correctly... touching the positive probe of my multimeter to the big black wire on back of alternator and negative probe to the negative post of the battery.. with my multimeter set to 2000mV... I'm getting a reading of 1. Does not fluctuate or anything. Is this okay or am I doing it wrong?

    OK 5 years ago I installed a 2in leveling kit I had asked on here if it would mess with any thing and I was told no. However I've been seeing on here that in fact I need a adjustable track bar is this true? I need a alignment and will this mess with it? Thanks guys

Are the frames the same on 2nd gens 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton? If I could grab this truck and then just find an nv4500, I think i could be in business. All the people around me want $3500 for a complete swap kit with a used, stock tranny and rusty parts.

    OK guys I may just paranoid but I seem to have a excessive fuel knock until at operating temp, I know its gonna be noisy when cold its a Cummins with 197k on it but this knock seems to come in recently, could this be dirty injectors or just over thinking it

    So as some of you know I've been through 4 or so power steering pumps (All napa warrantied) The pumps work fine for about a month or so until it starts to moan a bit. I don't have any issues with steering (same effort as before) brakes work very well too, so I don't think there's a restriction anywhere in the lines. I can tell you my hydroboost pressure lines are on fire though (not sure about steering box line.) They'll literally burn you after running for 30 min or more. After about a month the fluid starts to smell very burned and the moaning starts. I'm wondering if a cooler like the 3rd gen trucks have might up the capacity and keep all of the fluid cooler. May…

    Hi all, so im not sure but I may have a new problem creeping up on me. Last few days I've been enjoying having no major truck problems and running with the smarty on 5 and timing advanced to have a little fun. I like to get on it a little in 3rd and 4th when accelerating and watch the smoke a little bit. Anyway, today it seems like as the smoke clears up it gets a little gray/whiteish. Now I should point out that it is wet out today so it could be just spray. But if it's not road spray, what could cause this?

    Alright guys so wanted to start a new thread about my transmission on the 02. I'm not even sure this is an actual issue, but being that the trucks new to me, I'm just trying to figure out if it's worth worrying over or not. So if it seems like I'm chasing nothing, I'm not trying too, just want to verify it's nothing before I ignore it and move on and it turns out to be a bigger issue I could've prevented. So, what's happening is when driving with O/D on, the truck will engage 3rd gear lock up around 38-40mph, then as speed gets up to 45ish, the trans seems to shift into 4th and attempt to lockup all within like a 1/2 second (and a slight jerky feeling) and then resum…

    Lost lift pump and this morning I have the p1689 code. Truck still starts but guess the airdog took out the injection pump also. I think that it is just barely under warranty. Ill have to check.

    Here's the latest of my vent tube letting off steam... I think it is twice what it was since I purchased back in October. My cap does not dance around but I am seeing a little more steam out the cap area too. I get 2-3 drips of oil when parked? Should I be concerned? I ordered one of these to collect the drippings and to try to reduce the amount of smoke emerging from under my truck... Probably best viewed in full screen...
