the last two weeks i have been losing power that acts as if i am losing my chip power completely.i have great fuel pressure a new filter. I can throttle up slow and get no fueling smoke or power and then it will kick in and feels normal, boost seems to be normal ,close to 20,but no power. the only change i have made inoperation is adding some two cycle oil to the fuel for lube cause i had a injector that would stop working partly at idle. i have checked the chip connectors and they all seem tight. Could use some help figuring it out.

So, I'm still having the P0237 code problem, even after I sent my ecm (which was barely scraping by apparently) to ACS. I ended up shelling out the $499,plus another $165 for the wts light fix. Tried disconnecting the battery terminals to see if it was a ghost from the past, but the codes still won't clear. I tried just removing the quadzilla, and still no dice. I checked all three wires. Ground is grounding, 5 volt reference is getting power, and the signal wire shows continuity between the ecm connector and the map sensor connector. Wtf am I missing? I'm seriously considering pulling everything, selling it, and going to a P-pump. Because I'm disgusted with t…

Well the guy that was going to rebuild me a short block fell off the edge of the earth I guess. No price quote no phone call no go jump in the lake no nothing. I have just about had it with people saying I will call you back. Dont lie, just say you dont give a s--- and be done with it. Two weeks wasted, so I call Cummins and they dont sell short blocks, another lie. We all know cummins sells short blocks, anyway he wonts to sell me a long block for 6020.00:mad: Man, I am about to go out and buy me a Sherman Tank and do like that guy on wacked out video's:lmao:

I purchased this 01 24v about 2 years ago and the previous owner said that he had a local diesel performance shop put in a FASS, Billet flex plate, and a triple disk torque converter. I'm not having any issues with slipping or anything, when the transmission shifts it's firm and grabs the gears instantly. While I was under the truck doing the oil change I decided to take off the inspection plate and just take a peak. I was wondering if anybody could tell me if this TC and Flex plate look stock or aftermarket. I've tried looking at a bunch of different torque converters to try to match the color but I can't seem to find anything, and as far as the quick and fir…

I know the previous owner didn't do this. He's the kind of guy that would buy a $300 crimper to do one crimp. So that means it came this way from the factory, or the dealer did this. My guess is that the dealer damaged the connector while removing the stock lift pump. This is the connector for the manifold air pressure sensor. Does anyone have an idea what kind of problem this would cause? I mean, if the truck runs, but doesn't have this sensor data, what would the truck do?

Noticed pulling the trailer the other day that it was easy to get into the 1200 degree range on the egt's. Would a little bigger turbo like a gen 3 or 4 help with dropping the egt's a little. Have the comp on 5X3, have not played with it at all. Boost is in the 25-30 range. New to this diesel power stuff. lol Soon to add RV 275's

Wow! That was easier than nailing jello to a tree! I just completed do my first VP44 install. To tell you the truth its easy as hell to do and takes just about 3-4 hours to do it taking your time. I will be updating my orignal VP44 install write up in the near future. There is a few notes and shortcut I found to make the install much easier. Sad part is I didn't grab my camera... (Should of!)

Soon as I can get the cash together, I'd like to get my truck to Mike and keep him busy for a few weeks.... Automatic to manual swap, exhaust brake and new exhaust system, rebuild front suspension. I'll think of more. Oh yeah, track down some oil leaks on the motor. Maybe replace the fuel tee behind the head (can't reach it myself), replace left front axel seal, flush cooling system and replace radiator. Might as well do the rear main seal on engine while transmission is out. $1,500 ought to cover it. ?

While servicing my truck I noticed a severe oil leak coming from what appears to be the Crank Shaft. If I were repairing the KDP how much more work would it be to replace the CS Seal? This is a first for me and help/ Information about the procedure will be appreciated. Is there a write up on this?

It's getting time for a rebuild, previous owner was a kid who didn't know how to take care of things lol. I'm planning on 7x12 sticks for my s363 turbo. But I'm not sure which cam I need. The truck is going to be my daily driver so I need something pretty streetable, if anybody can point me in the right direction or give me some input on the cams that you have tried I would greatly appreciate it??????

So I just got my used Edge comp box installed and took it for a test drive. I haven't put the stealth cover on yet so pump isn't tapped yet. When I got home after test drive I shut it off and restarted it. The voltage was dropping down and then coming back so I got a testlight and checked the heater grids. It was turning them on one at a time for at least a minute or longer. The engine was fully warmed up and at halfway on the gauge. Is this normal? I have never really paid attention to it before. Could the Comp box be causing this? Where is the Air intake temp sensor located? I may clean or replace it.

I bought a 2001 Laramie 4 months ago with 190,000 miles. It had an intank lift pump and had never tasted 2 stroke its entire life. Over the last 4 mos. I've been working bringing it up to proper standards, ie, complete fuel system upgrade, electrical connections /grounds cleaned. Everything done has gradually increased mileage numbers with the big line kit, added pre filter, drinks of 2 stroke oil, but the biggest surprise was running the fuel return down the fill neck. This has helped most of all because air bubbles were getting sucked up the 1/2 inch draw straw.( explains my erratic fuel pressure readings prior)

a while back my truck went bezerck. surging, little or no throtle response, cruise control coutting on and off, temp gauge swinging wildly from 0 to max and the engine was surging while indeling and me standing beside the truck. i was already having some dead pedal issues and had puechased a new vp44 from blue chip diesel. thinking that might be causing the problem i installed the injector pump with no change. I had multiple high and low voltage codes on the iat, tps, temp and map sensors. also had codes on the cruise control, tach, system voltage. did some test on the tps and replaced no change, replaced the temp sensor no change, clock spring nochange, speedo(on board d…
