Somehow I managed to break the black plastic bit that the clips on the connector engage to hold in place, and so my transmission is hanging on by nothing more than simple friction. I know I, going to have to drop the valve body to replace it, my question is this: where the heck do I get the connector?

So while out running some errands today all of a sudden my truck started acting like it had a miss. I limped it home and pulled the codes to find a P0602 - ECM fueling calibration error. I cleared the code reset the ecm to stock settings and started the truck up and it's still there. I reprogrammed the truck to lvl 6 started it back up and still no change. Is there a way to check if its VP or the ECM? Thanks in advance to the help everyone.

Hello there's everyone, hope y'all are doing well I've been fighting an ongoing issue that renders my truck useless, it will not rev past 2300 rpm no matter what you do, once you get past 2000 it pops and misses terribly here's the codes are 1698 ive had forever with zero issues and the p0230 is from my air dog. my grid heater is deleted so I believe that's the other two but the p0251 makes me wonder. It's not the VP as I thought because I got it warrantied with no better results any help would Be great thank you 61619919762__5C17D84F-A4A4-46C2-AA6C-40B6342BFF4C.MOV

I'm really underwhelmed. I see elegant bilet machined fittings... that are seemingly "just" pressed into an inferior rubber gromet. There does not seem to be any compression... no nut on the inside. No flange bolted down. I see lots of pictures that seem to indicate fuel leakage on top of the tank. Am I missing something?I've worked on built tanks in the marine industry... Threaded holes. Under flanges with gaskets. Threaded tank tops. I've seen metal tanks fail (after immersion in salt water)... a handful in 20,000 installations. I've seen fill hoses get loose & leak... a couple in 20,000 installations. I just can't go for a defective design. It jus…

Hey guys looking for some opinions, so I’m looking to upgrade my 47re in the near future and have done a fair bit of research and was going to buy a full rebuild kit from rev max but due to lack of time I’m considering buying pre built with a warranty. So I got a quote from my local mechanic (who I personally know) and who has a trans builder in southern Ontario Canada who quoted me at 4700$ Canadian for a heavy hauler rated for 450hp and a 3 year 150,000km warranty, I will never exceed 350hp with my build so I am happy with that rating i’m just trying to see if this seems like a relatively fair price? I would order one from the states but shipping and exchange kinda kill…

I know that sounds like a weird question, but a few years ago my truck developed this weird noise from 40 mph and up. It sounds like its coming from the drivers side wheel. The only way I can describe it is a high pitched flute sound. For a long time I thought it was a wheel bearing but I would bet that if a wheel bearing was that dry it would have destroyed itself after all these years. I am now leaning toward a U-Joint, either in the short shaft or in one of the hubs. Any thoughts from all you Dodge experts? By the way with the super quiet tires installed yesterday I can hear the noise a lot better now. Deric

Had an analysis run on my rear diff oil when I changed it. Everything seemed just fine from what I could tell when I had it apart. But my analysis seems to tell a different story. What are the clutches in the LSD made out of? reardiff.pdf

i like my truck so much i got another one. its a 01 2500 qclb 4x4 5 speed, edge jwa, couple pillar guages, some kind of 400 dollar air box (going to change to a 30 $ bhaf just need to find stock boot), four inch turbo back, four inc lift (that has to go, might have questions about that) ,fass 150, 92000 miles. oh and looks pretty good all one color with a few small dings and scratches.i need to put a fuel guage in, why it doesnt have one with all the other mods the guy did i dont know, and new fuel filters in tommoro. so i should get good pressure to vp, but my very first question on this build is this,if i have 15 psi to vp, how do i know if the vp is healthy? is there a …

I know this a common issues for guys adding wheels and oversized tires but to show a quick clip of running down the pavement semi-flat ground at 66 MPH and the tach shows a prefect 2,000 RPM's. The EGT floats today about 600*F, and boost is about 3-5 PSI. Had to try mounting to the side window and see if the GoPro could do it. I found out the LED lighting screws with the frame rate with the flashing displays which its not actually doing.

Took a run up to deer camp today and when I slowed down my truck sounded like a bunch of tree frogs chirping.I popped the hood but couldn't really tell where the noise was coming from. When I left a few hours later and the truck had cooled down it sounded normal. When I turned down my road it was chirping again, must just be when it heats up it chirps. After it cooled down at home I took the belt off and checked everything out. Everything seemed tight and felt good when spinning it around except the water pump.It doesn't leak nor am I loosing fluid but it has a little "wiggle" to it when moving it up or down. When you spin it doesn't have any drag or noise to it.What do you…

Last night my buddy (so I can only go off what he tells me happened) had my truck and got a phone call this morning about a dead truck. Code read was p0122 early this morning (I believe this can be from spinning wheels in the snow?) and now the code is the p1693 companion code. I don't have a reader to check further into that one.He said that the truck just stalled out on him... literally just died.Quarter tank of fuel, 18psi fuel pressure when I bump the lift pump.No drips or leaks. I cracked numbers 1 and 3 injectors and he said he saw fuel from #1 but didn't say it was spraying or anything.Over the past 10-15k miles the truck has randomly died maybe 5 times but starts …

Just dreading what I have in my future. I don't remember having all this mess of wire everywhere in my previous truck. Ugh... Battery terminals have screws jammed in them on the passenger side to keep everything snug. Driver side positive post must have 5 additional lugs hooked to it.
