Didnt know where to put this but... Bought some stuff over a week ago from CPP Diesel, expected a tracking number same day or worst case next day, didn't show out of stock, ordered by noon. Couple of days go by, nothing, tried calling- they shut off their phones, emailed a couple of times mid week and was told I'll get a tracking number when it's processed nothing more. Second email they said they'll request tracking? Tried calling again just cause and nothing. Reached out again today via email for a refund and someone to contact me, with a very stern attitude via email or cell phone if possible and still nothing... All my previous orders have not been l…

I replaced the clock spring about 3 weeks ago to fix the airbag light and cruise issue I was having. While reinstalling the airbag I pinched the horn wire and didn't notice till I was driving home and got the horn to blow when turning left! Got home and repaired it with a butt splice connector and all seemed well for about 5 hours then the horn lit off solidly blowing for all it was worth. Went out started the truck moved the wheel and all was well until about 10pm then it did it again! Removed the horn relay and nothing since. My question in all of this is: Do I need to replace the clock spring or could this be a horn pad issue like…

I finally bit the bullet and ordered panels for the front doors on my 3500, sick of watching it rust away, company on ebay.com ships to the UK using Ebays GSP, $289 for left and right inner and outer panels, just shy of $440 to my door. I've got a mountain of work to do on it to put it back on the road and some of it not of interest here as it's a 5.9 V8 but here's the list anyway Intake manifold gasket, I have the kit just never got around to doing it Front door repairs both sides Dent in right front fender Bumpers front and rear, may make a pair New battery Passenger side rear door won't open, (this one is the one here thats not used) …

Last night i drove to pick up dinner and my head lights worked fine. Picked up dinner and got back in my truck, and turned on my lights and got nothing.. Well, only fogs and running lights.. I visually checked fuses in the parking lot and all seemed good. At first i had no high beam shutter sound but i played with the connector and i got that back, but still no ignition of the bulbs. I can hear a relay clicking going from running lights to head lights, i just dont know which relay it is. Bit of history, i did have to replace the battery lead fuse and holder because the original one melted. I dont know why. I never lost my hids until i lost the fuse and it didn…

Hello All,I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 4X4 CDT Auto, and I did the sport headlight conversion a while ago and I recently bought the wiring harness from Daniel Stern Lighting. My initial impressions the harness uses very good components and heavy gauge wire. My truck was an export to Canada and I do have the DRL and I did the DLR mod as instructed by Daniel stern. However I do have two problems that I am tiring to resolve. 1. When I hook up the harness the drivers low beam is on all the time with the key on or off. When I turn on the headlights the low beam works only the drivers side and the high beam works as it should. 2. My fog light relay i…

I know this has been discussed at length, and believe me, I've been through (I think) all the threads on this on multiple sites and just can't seem to get a bead on exactly what's going on with the non-factory-foglight trucks' wiring. I'm in the middle of a pretty extensive interior rehab and figured it's time to finally dive in. I have a 2001 (manual trans, I saw one guy claim that matters?) without factory fogs. I've picked up factory housings/brackets, bumper inserts, and a fog light headlight switch. I do have the harness down by the front bumper. I pulled the headlight switch today, and it looks like the harness runs to the dash too. It also looks like it…

So here's a weird one (or maybe it's not) and if it's been covered already, please point me to the thread because I couldn't find it. For years my brake pedal has been slow to return to full "off" position. Whether the truck is running or off makes no difference, if I push on the pedal even a little bit, it'll take a second or two for the brake lights to turn back off. It doesn't affect the way the truck drives at all, the brakes definitely release, it's just that last tiny bit to where it catches the brake light switch. The only time it matters is when I'm pulling a trailer with electric brakes. I have to remember to let the brake off a second or two before s…

Was looking to replace the intermediate steering shaft on my '02 Ram 2500. All the adds state that their shafts fit 4WD but my rig is 2WD. Anyone know for sure if they're the same. I'll list a Dorman shaft I found on 1A Auto: DORMAN Lower Intermediate Steering Shaft: 425-264. I'm aware I can go to a Borgeson but am going to stick with a stock shaft.

I believe these are called camber wedges the upper ball joint sits in. They do appear to be eccentric. I think I remember the orientation they were in but not 100% sure. Got conflicting info on if camber is even adjustable on my truck (248 model front axle). Is there a direction to face them that is kinda standard or just do what I think they were facing before? I think one was facing gap facing 90* into truck and other side was 90* away from truck. Thanks for any help! Finally putting things back together on a full front end service.

My brothers truck has no power to - the radio - the power windows - the door locks - and dome lights he also has no power to his brake lights. Every now and then though he gets them to turn on while driving or moving a connector. Haven't had a chance to go and see what connector he's referring to. My first thought was the IOD fuse but it gets power every now and then. All of those circuits I believe run to the in dash fuse panel. Is there anywhere else that they connect to? 2001 Ram 2500 p24v dually conversion, slight basket case

Anyone got a picture of the heater blend door actuator with the cover removed, I think the truck I'm working on has a gear missing, my guess is some not so bright person has popped the cover off to try to figure out why the heater temp control doesn't work and a pile of guts dropped out, the clue here is that I found one gear under the carpet along with a pin.

2002 I finally had a driver side door lock fail me. I pull all the locks (passenger and driver) then the ignition lock and took them to George's Lock and Key in Lewiston ID and had them gone through. I've got the locks back in the truck and the linkage in the door was getting stiff from all the years. I power washed the inside of the doors and the latch assemble and lubed it up really well with silicone spray. Now I'm just waiting for a bit of extra funds I'm going to buy a new set of speakers for the front doors and a bag of door panel fasteners. Reassemble for the last time. I've pulled the panels off for window motor (passenger side), then added towing mirrors (Both si…

This just started this morning, a popping sound when making a tight right turn at low speed. In a parking lot for example. Had not done it turning left at all. Wife said she felt it in the floorboard when it popped. This is while in 2WD. Have not tried in 4WD yet. No obvious cause when I looked under the truck. Truck has 187,000 mile on all the stock hardware except shocks which I replaced last weekend. Suggestions on what to check for?

Hello, I have maybe a year on my isspro gauges and my fuel pressure gauge seems to be acting up. Is the sender an often replaced item? I have a needle valve, snubber, fuel hose plumbed to my sender. My hose is 6 ft long to my sender. At idle it is fluctuating from 11 psi and at idle revving to 2k it is at 18 psi. Just trouble shooting on where to start.

For those that don't have projector headlights, this looks like a fantastic option for LEDs. Even shoots the heat into the housing to melt snow and ice! https://www.morimotohid.com/morimoto-2-stroke-2stroke-h11-led-bulbs?quantity=1 Drat, wrong link. Here's the 9004/9007 version: https://www.morimotohid.com/morimoto-2stroke-2-stroke-9007-led-bulbs?quantity=1

I've had a Gen 3 track bar and conversion bracket on the shelf now for over 10 years, originally bought for my 3500 but never got around to it I've been getting more and more ~~~~ed off with steering wander on my 2500 recently so decided to bite the bullet today and fit the 3rd gen bar and bracket as there is a tad of wear in the ball joint end as per usual. Axle end bolt seized solid in the steel sleeve in the bush then stripped the welded nut in the steel plate keeper GGGRRR, ended up drilling the bolt out, luckily I got it just right and didn't even damage the bush sleeve or the bolt holes in the axle bracket. All off and on the floor ready for tomorrow …

Greetings Guys. Back again with more fun. Just completed replacing tappet cover gasket, upgrading transmission solenoids et, al. and pan gasket replacement with help of the site. Thanks guys for all the assistance. If these three projects were not enough pain in the ***, I decided to replace the engine mount bushings and add a big line kit and a set of A Column gauges (egt, boost and fuel pressure). Yeh, I know, a real masochist. Anyway my truck (2000 flatbed, extended cab, 1 TN, 4WD with 325K miles) currently has an idiot light for fuel pressure which I originally installed a couple of years ago when I added a Raptor lift pump. I would like to keep the idiot li…

I swapped my ram over to disc brakes 3months ago I also replaced the Master Cylinder and Hydro booster and replaced all the lines, calipers, rotors and pads at the same time . After a week the hydrobooster blew out the accumulator seal and I lost all my power steering fluid in about 2mins. I warrantied it out and replaced it and I couldn't get a good pedal what so ever ,so I bought a oem master and hydrobooster. I installed them yesterday and I still can get a good pedal after bleeding it. If I pump the brakes a few times it has full power but after driving it a few feet afterwards it loses pressure. Should I replace that power steering pump, or is there something else I…

The truck belongs to my brother-in-law in Crescent City, Ca. The truck is a 2002 Quad Cab, 4x4, automatic transmission with approximately 170,000 miles on the truck. Every thing is stock. The problem: After about every 20 or 30 brake applications the brake pedal gets hard and there is no power assist. As soon as he releases the pedal, everything is back to normal. He took the truck to a shop. The guy who runs the shop is a very knowledgeable man and his business has an excellent reputation.. He asked if the power steering worked when the event occurred. My brother-in-law said that he didn't notice anything with the steering, but his focus was on stopp…
