My A/C doesn't cycle on and off, compressor just stays kicked in. I checked the pressure and it was a touch low so I put one of those small cans into the system. It is now in the safe range but still won't cycle out. It runs until it freezes off and airflow stops. I have been switching it to vent every few minutes to keep this from happening. What do you guys think is the problem?

I was driving home last night and the brake and clutch petals got weird on me. There was a lot of play side-top-side and the brake petal was sticking. I was able to safely get it home. The e-clip on the brake pedal side was gone and the rod had pushed through as you can see from the pictures. I removed the brake light switch (guessing that is what it was) and I was able to wiggle the rod back through. However, getting the nylon insert in proved to be a pain. I disconnected both the clutch and brake petals from their respective push rods and I was able to quickly shimmy the insert into place. Nothing earth shattering here, but I thought I would share in case…

So I was having a fair bit of steering slip so I replaced my steering gear with a Napa reman box. It is now 2 times worse. My front end is literally falling apart. I can barely keep the truck on the road. Dry parked the truck at the shop and I need new tie rods, tie rod ends, track bar, etc. I can’t afford anything to high end such as Synergy but I’m thinking maybe Napa parts? https://www.1aauto.com/2000-02-dodge-steering-and-suspension-kit/i/1asfk03897?f=1084240&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIicKHjd2h3gIVxR6GCh35qw-yEAQYBiABEgJgxfD_BwE Also found ths kit from 1A Auto. Seems earful cheap though. Likely trashy parts? Here is a list of the parts…

I have an 01 Dually club cab, bottoms of the doors are a little rotten. Found a 99 being parted out with perfect doors. #1 will they bolt up no issue? #2 they are manual windows and I have a power window truck. Can I move everything over to those doors?

CANNOT FIND ANY REFERENCE TO A FUSED CIRCUIT FOR THE LITTLE GUYS IN THE FACTORY SERVICE MANUAL. ALL OTHER LIGHTS WORK AS INTENDED, ROOF MARKERS, FRONT AND REAR RUNNING AND HAZARDS. I'M AT A LOSS HERE.

I started a thread about headlight switches last week and thank all for information received. I also found that the part I need is out of production. I need the part that the headlight switch attaches to and is then screwed to the dash panel before the dash bezel is re-installed. If anyone has one I will be very happy to purchase it at a reasonable price, Thank you, Kerley

Ok, I backed my truck out of my shop to idle it for awhile to check on what was leaking from my turbo gasket when the PacBrake in on, I had noticed that when I shut off ignition my low fuel pressure light on my gauge would stay on as well as my "brake" light was also dimly lit, well while idling yesterday the "Airbag" light came on, I switched the Pass airbag off and the light went out, so I figure I have something in that circuit wrong, then I notice my blower fan was staying on with ignition off, as if these issues wasn't enough all the dash lights came on "check engine" "check gauges" as well as "no bus" in the odometer Haven't even started to dig into this, not sure …

Just replaced my worn out steering damper with a genuine MOPAR damper and the MOPAR unit is much beefier than the aftermarket unit (unkown brand). Tube diameter is much bigger and piston rod diameter is much bigger. So far so good.

So earlier this year I helped my friend order one of these things. About a month later, he got drunk, forgot and ordered another one so he gave it to me. I guess these are cast from the same mold used to make the ones in the movie "Convoy" and "Death Proof" which is pretty cool and made to order so it takes about 6-8 weeks. I'm on the fence about putting it on my truck. I thought maybe through the top of the grill as that's easily replaced but then I worry about thieves ripping it from the plastic. I really don't want to put holes in my hood though. Maybe I should just bolt it to a bench or shelf in the garage. I still need to decide what color to powder coat it as…

My fuel shutdown/start cable setup. The photos show where I used the old solenoid to actuate the fuel shut off and location or the cable control into the cab. The setup is pretty straight forward. I left the spring inside the boot. This will allow the fuel lever to snap shut when the cable handle is released.

I've got an 01 Cummins. Its started to do this thing while driving where the door-locks lock and unlock rapidly while driving. Looking into it apparently there was a service bulletin for the door lock cylinder switch, anti theft piece for replacement because water gets into them. Dodge dealer here says they are obsolete and can no longer get them, anyone know if I can just unplug them and bypass. I dont really care for the anti-theft just I'd like to have my power lock and keyless entry. On another note incase this isnt my issue anyone know what else could cause this. I've heard it could be the key fob battery but I've used two key fobs as well as changed the …

Looking over my truck for annual inspection. With the wheels on the ground and a helper turning back and forth I can see the bushing moving a bit on the end where it connects to the axle. Seems to me a rubber bushing would give a bit but I've read any movement is bad.Other end has no play. Should I replace? If so what is needed to do a 3 gen bar on the truck in my sig.? Is it worth it, and what kit is available? Is kit bolt on and go or are there mods. to be made?

hey guys. new here, first post. just got a new tekonsha P3 controller to tow our camper with, and this truck is new to me. I've gone over just about everything I could (I have FSM wiring diagrams of everything) and Its just not making sense, think Ive thought it over too many times. truck is a 2000 CTD 2500 - factory tow harness front to rear, factory hitch, factory 7 pin, and it all works fine. i have power everywhere that i should, except for the incab connector to hook up my brake controller. i've also checked the 40amp trailer tow fuse, and the fuse is good. this is where ive gotten confused, and am probably going to come off kinda dumb. theres no power at this fu…

I'm selling my 1998 12v Extended Cab Automatic. Mechanically it runs just like a stock 12v should. The first time I washed it I ended up with a different color coming through, it's called primer. Then I powered washed it and of course it made more of the primer color shine through. When I first got it the AFC box came out from Power Driven Diesel. I bought one with the gauge on it along with injectors and CVs. Still in the box in the closet. Is there any point putting them on to try and get a better price or just sell these parts separate? I can put a paint job on it for about $350 but it's not going to cover any or much body work (small places). Maybe just cleaned up rea…

Just changed rear drums, pads and parking brakes. Got it all back together and it seemed to work ok in the driveway. Went down the road and the rears are stuck on. Took them apart and checked and tried again and still the same. Are my calipers messed up? The second time I took them apart I put a block in and hit the brakes to see if the pistons would come out. one did but the second one on both sides took a HARD push on the pedal to make them go. Did i mess up something pushing them in?
