With temps above 20*F I have about 15-18 psi. When it gets colder out I have right at 11psi. The other day it to -2*F. The truck started and held at 11psi. About 5 mins later she started dropping psi and soon hit 1psi. The truck started to stall so I turned it off right away. So later that day after the temps got to about 15*F I started the truck and it held 11psi. I took it down the road and about 10 miles later it went up to 17psi and held. When I got home it jumped down to 11psi again. Any ideas? My airdog going bad?

Here it comes the full write up on my 99 Dodge Ram restoration it has been in the process of being rebuilt over the last couple years, it's hit a few speed bumps, moving, shattered ankle and months of recovery. Now we are making real progress unfortunately my laptop died on me so I have lost all the photos of the truck during tear-down and most of the before pictures. What I have today are pictures of the chassis all scuffed up and receiving the first coats of new primer I also have a small preview of the color not ever found on a Ram but on a 2012 and newer toyota. I plan to follow this project with photos and updates as they come along,I plan to share the interio…

So I am attempting to put together a good low buck lift I am not trying to clear anything more than a set of 35's at most but mainly I want to improve ride quality and retain stock geometry. Now I have a set of Thuren 4 inch coils laying around from a donor truck and was using that as a point to jump off the ledge on improving the suspension so unless I missed something to make these work right I will need for just the front suspension new control arms drop pit-man arm new adjustable or modified stock 3rd gen track bar(completely lost here I know what it does but don't know what is best for our trucks) longer sway-bar end links or something to correct that shocks…

I started a thread about headlight switches last week and thank all for information received. I also found that the part I need is out of production. I need the part that the headlight switch attaches to and is then screwed to the dash panel before the dash bezel is re-installed. If anyone has one I will be very happy to purchase it at a reasonable price, Thank you, Kerley

I am installing some candle sticks, which are fancy marker lights for the outside of the truck. I want to splice into the marker lights/turn signal so they turn on when the parking lights are on and blink with the turn signal. the marker lights have 3 wires: Green, Black, and I think its purple with a white line. Which ones would I splice into to get my candle sticks to work the way I am looking for? Thanks for the time and help.

I have been wanting a heated seat for some time, especially after driving a jetta with heated seats. Anyway long story short is a got the whole front and rear leather seats. Power and heat on both sides. have the switches that go in the dash. Also got the storage tray under the back seat and the woodgrain dash. I guess my question is...how much grief is it to get the heat to work. My drivers seat is power and that was plug and play. This is probably going to mean I need a wire harness...ugh. Regards Chris

Been looking around for an older diesel NPR truck. The one Im interested in has a straight piped stack which makes it too loud to for residential. Seller says, ''it wakes up the neighborhood''. So is a crome muffler very expensive? Or are there any other tricks/ options to quiet it down? Thanks in advance. BTW I love how you can tilt the cab and get to all the engine parts like working at a work bench. That's too easy.

Does anyone have a mod or upgrade to the stupid plastic lock on the rear slide window? Mine slowly pops loose. It doesn't seem very secure to begin with.

When the temp outside is below 40 deg or so my ABS light will stay off. I drive 50 miles to work daily. If it gets above 50 degrees or so then the ABS and Brake light will come on. Anyone have any ideas as to why this might act this way? I have replaced the rear wheel sensor but not the front wheel sensors. Thanks in advance.

I live in an area (deep south Texas) that's just hot and humid, ac is a must. My ac use to blow 45 degree or colder air no matter the temperature humidity outside, recently the ac performance began to degrade. As the ambient temperature increases so does the temperature of the air coming out of the ac. On a day in the 90's temperature of the air coming out of the center vent (temp readings done with max ac, fan on high, center duct) would run from 55-65 and humid air. The ac system is still all original parts from 2002, other than being recharged 2 years ago at the dodge dealer and few weeks ago. After putting gauges on here is the basic findings (center vent temp …

It appears to be leaking from where the shaft (not pitnam arm) connects to gearbox. Since the truck has a lot of wandering, I figured I'd just replace the whole thing. Although I've found many reasonably price remanufactured ones, I've read that remanufactured boxes don't last long and some leak almost immediately. Any recommendations? This truck doesn't get driven much (4K in the last year and a half).
