I finally had time to unpack and check out this Screaming Eagle from DAP. My question is if this bend in the waste gate bracket normal? I haven't tried to pre-fit it to see if the bend was planned for clearance. My guess is it's been dropped at one time (shipping looked undamaged which is strange). Also looks like a good hit on the diaphragm as well. I guess I could bend it back for I'm wondering if I might have balance issues if it did take a hard hit on the floor? Really hoping to install this weekend but I probably need to hear from DAP first.

I originally was going to start this thread asking for help, but I seem to have fixed the issues inadvertently. Here is the issues. My cruise control had been acting up of late. At first the cruise would act like it was backing off and then re accelerating. Very much like lightly lifting the throttle and easing it back on. Seemed to be doing it after about an hour of it being turned on. As time passed it got much worse and was actually cutting out in in harshly. So much so I just shut it off. Then out of the blue it would work just fine. The throttle itself worked fine thru all of this. Also during this time the idle up feature when releasing the clutch seemed to not …

Just out here in a pinch truck is an 02 vp truck with a quadzilla and s366 just put new 100 horse injectors it it and before with just tuner and turbo it made about 36psi boost and wot on hot tune wouldn’t exceed 1150 degrees now with new stix towing small tractor on car hauler it breaks 1100 pulling small tractor in stock tune, wondering if theres a tune out there that would help solve the problem or anything i could do in meantime before it gets water meth kit!

Driving in to work this morning I mashed the go pedal and let her run to test the new tune. The yellow warning band showed up, so I backed off. I 'swiped up' so I could see some of the other data, and ran again. But, can't watch the tiny numbers and drive, too! Is there a quick way to figure out which parameter is throwing the warning without using Data Collection? Just swap around what gauges are shown? Shouldn't have been EGT, and "boost" was less than 25 PSI (as reported by MAP sensor - no standalone gauge yet). Quad doesn't see lift pump, and pressure was good anyway.

Looking for some advice, about to pull the trigger on the purchase of a FASS 165 lift pump. Currently the trucks fuel system is completely stock with the stock lift pump being in the engine bay still. Do I need 1/2" fuel hose or does the kit come with it? I keep seeing "big line" kits on @dieselautopower website and want to make a single purchase and not regret having a better supply/return system. I've read that other members are using their stock fuel filter in conjunction w/FASS lift pump system, is this correct as any added protection I want to take advantage of? Would I require a "Big Line" kit if I went this route vs. just using whatever FASS…

Some of you will remember my thread on my engine over cooling problem that turned out to be the gauge reading improperly. It got worse some time after that and started affecting the way the truck ran. I am going to be tearing into it pretty soon and want to see if any you might have experienced anything like this or just have some suggestions. At the time I was lucky to see the low 170's on the gauge. As long as it stayed there every thing worked fine but some times it would drop into the high 160's and the Banks chip would start operating weakly. Having a little problem. I searched and didn't find an answer. I have internittent hard starts. Hard to isolate a common denominator except when parked at an angle. It always cranks extra before firing then. Other times it just does it, whether it's been sitting for awhile or just a few minutes. This is the problem that doesn't bother me too much. The other problem is there is consistantly fuel in my oil. These problems just began when I installed my new injectors. This was my first install and I took my time and follwed Mike's instructions. My turbine housing is cracked/frozen and needs to be replaced. While I have the turbo apart, is it worth drilling through the center section of the turbine housing to wastegate the first 3 cylinders? Any downside? Thanks guys maybe it's gate the last 3 cylinders

I just so happened to come across diesel power source coming out with a electricly controlled vgt housing for s300 or 400 haven't seen price yet but makes u wonder supposed to speed up spool by 300 rpms and have exaust brake down fall is they only make it for a 71 and bigger turbine wheel but I'd love to test one

Dieselfuture is the one who first brought it to my attention of greasing the front hub bearings thru the ABS sensor hole. Now on my third front hub replacement yesterday in a couple years to both my 2nd gens you tend to get tired of the expense and time. I was only in there to replace the brake pads and discovered a rough spot in the wheel hub bearing. The only way to tell was to turn by hand with the wheel, the caliper and rotor off because just a few weeks earlier I had checked for looseness in the wheels, so on I went with a new Timken hub. First off i just purchased this quadzilla adrenanline v2 from power driven diesel installed it last night and only had some connection. Im using the bluetooth device with my samsung table. When i open the app it does not allow me to make a vehicle selection i just get the demonstration selection and nothing else. The ecm voltage stays at zero. I unplugged the datalink port and it has power unplugged and plugged in to the quad via multimeter. Could the reason be im not getting signal is because i cant make a vehicle selection because there arent any options? I did get some connections like egt temp, engine load,rpm etc. I think i also killed my vp44 after running it with …

So I've had my fuel pressure kit for my quad for about a year and a half. Last week the sender died and all it shows is 100 PSI. After contacting the company, the only response I got was essentially 'tough luck'. I really hate to spend another $70 on it, so long story short, has anyone had luck with any other senders?

Hello, I have a 02 Ram 2500 with the cummins H.O. 6 speed RWD. I have done the BHAF mod, free flowing 4" exhaust with glasspack, and I just got a superchips max microtuner (got it for a steal). Would my truck be a good candidate for a boost fooler? From what I have seen and researched this would be a good next modification for my truck. Just wondering if this would be safe and effective? I have heard this would gain 10-50 hp depending on mods so I'm huessing mine would be in the 10-15hp range but maybe up to 40-50lbs-tq. Any advice?

So I'm still figuring out the scan gauge. Does boost or horse power work right on a cummins? Loop and ignition timing give me no readings is that right? The boost seem right up to about five then is different there on up compared to my ispro gauge. I've got the cutoff set at 19.

It wasn't anything too heavy, built some walls for my flat bed and loaded up 3400lbs of scrap, rolled across the scales at just over 15k total. I also hauled a 1959 Plymouth Fury. The truck pulls so much harder with a load now, no hesitation in getting up to speed in traffic. It was a night and day difference compared to just a single turbo. I never crossed 1000* EGT even while pushing it hard on level 5 of my towing tune. The whistling, oh how I love the whistling.
