So I bought this 2012 Ram 4x4 Auto with the Hemi and got a good deal until I noticed the whining noise, It only whines when decelerate at 30 mph down to 20 mph and you don't hear it anymore. I didn't think anything about it at first. So I changed all fluids and no metal, what the heck is going on?

So my 98 dodge ram 1500 quit on me going down the interstate the other day. Checked my pressure at my fuel rail and it was at 31 so figured it was about time to do a fuel pump so put new one in and now it wont kick on. Thought it was a relay so got a new one still nothing. So I had some new injectors so went ahead and put those on and still I have no power going to my new fuel pump. Could it be my ECU went out or what someone please help. Oh and my fuel gauge isn't even moving when I turn on the truck.

Someone I know over here has just bought a 03 2500 5.7 Hemi, seller sold as faulty with suspected HG, turns out it's dropped a valve seat on number 1, I guess over in USA this is no biggy, here in UK it's pants down and assume the position, Rockauto has reman heads for a reasonable amount, I've advised to replace both, cylinder looks from pictures to be scored I did say rock for pistons/rings etc but then noticed they sell a cylinder repair sleeve, anyone used this ? Has the Hemi got liners or is the block bored big and the sleeve pressed in ? if thats so he would at least need info from a good shop over there for the bore size as no one here would have a clue how to do i…

So just a little idea spark here... I really think it would be fun to convert a 2nd gen 1500 single, short cab 2wd with a different motor. I am helping my father in law, rebuild his 360 in his 99 due to cam gear exploding. It's done and ready to go back in, however when er were looking for parts and upgrades to throw at it for some more pep for him, we came up short. Either you can't find go fast goodies during to the nature of the motor or if you did find them it was stupid expensive... now everyone does cummins swaps and that would be awesome but very heavy for the little truck. Still would do if I found the right deals, but what about like a chevy 350 and the plethora o…

Hey Guys, So I'm in a pickle here with a 3.6L Pentastar motor. I've spent the better part of 4 days running searches on this and havn't had much luck. So my exe's car had a headlight issue, with the TIPM and I was able to get it fixed up. Ironically, I noticed her car was low on coolant, but I added some to it. The car was at my parents garage (where i was working on it), and drove about an hour down the road then called me and sent me a photo of what i found out was the low coolant light. As she was driving on the high way I was searching dash symbols on my phone realized what it was. The chimer came on and i told her to pull over and shut the car off. I got…

Having issues with grimlings appearing into this build, current mileage 227k on original motor. Started all 4 cylinders misfiring on bank 1. Moved plugs, coil packs, injectors, nothing changed. Pulled compression and got 60lbs, was told “you have internal issue”, decided to split block apart and have a look. Only had 1 minor sticky valve on driver head, still had factory hash marks on cylinder walls, no scratching on cam, crank, nothing. So we bore block .20 over, 4340 forged eagle crank, 32t reluctor wheel, 112-500-11 comp cam, h-beam connecting rods, springs, valves, seats, re-serviced heads. After build was told “ pcm “ replace with new vin programmed, didn’t fix, new …

I really only know 2nd and some 3rd gen stuff and all the things that can interchange between the 1500 and 2500/3500. My wife drives a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 4 door short bed, and with the hemi. I'm gonna be looking to buy some new shocks (maybe small lift too), maybe some other go fast goodies for her truck. I would like to know if possible - which years interchange and is the bodies the same way as say the 2nd gens? Hope this makes sense and someone understands what I'm getting at lol.

I'm working on my brother in laws 1994 Jeep Wrangler. The water pump bearings failed. I was draining the coolant and popped the radiator cap off and thought I saw little metal slivers inside it. When I got the pump off, I realized why. The bearing allowed enough movement for the impeller to scrape the inside of the housing as well as let the pulley rub the outside. Looks like I'll be flushing the motor really well and changing the rest of the cooling system. Radiator is pretty gunked and leaks a bit so it needs replaced anyhow. This poor kid can't catch a break either, in the last 200 miles he had to get the rear axle completely rebuilt when a C-clip broke and dest…

My real estate career is taking off. Decided to get a more appropriate vehicle for driving for real estate sales. I was driving a lot of miles on the diesel truck. So I got a Dodge Magnum R/T 2005. Has the Hemi in it. I'll get a pic up soon. But it's kind of a sleeper rig. 345 hp. Very comfortable. 5 speed automatic transmission. A lot more creature comforts than I am used to. After a week I am really pleased with it. Getting over 20 mpg average combined city/hiway driving. Has that system that cuts down to 4 cylinders when cruising. Still figuring out all the features. Dual exhaust...has a bit of a rumble to it. Wouldn't mind a bit more. ?

I’ve noticed more and more elec connections have a little tab or plastic something to keep the connection in place, supposedly makes connection better? I broke a plastic tab today using a nail trying to get connection apart. What do you use?

Hi all! I have a 300m that keeps setting the alarm off for no reason. Sometimes after a few hours and sometimes it takes close to a day. I would like to fix the problem, but for now I would just like to disable the dang thing so I can lock the doors again. I looked at the few fuses it has but none were marked for the S.S. Does anyone have any idea's for me?
