Haven't been on in awhile and wanted to see what's been going on. I've been busy (about to go replace a front seal on an 03' F150 V6 actually) and have been living on ar15.com buying and selling stuff. This turned in to this and this turned in to this. Now it's time to stock up on ammo since it's an election year and people will start to loose their minds and buy up everything come fall. I'm so happy that the availability and price of truck parts isn't affected by random acts of violence and who gets elected.

This occurrence happened a week ago today; but I was pressed for time, as I was flying out to FL in about 8 hours from when this happened. Or I would've posted it then!!! Flying to FL to shoe some horses later that day............................about 11:00am after being domestic, and cleaning the house before I leave, I decide to take Dee, my CLF, for am quick walk. Well about 1 minute into our walk; I hear the cracking of wood, and a big thump on the ground. I know this sound as I cut wood and trees down for firewood to heat my home. When I heard this, I turned around and walked toward the sound.................................I was thinking that I may…

During Nov. we had a heck of a wind storm come through that took out a lot of trees. One night, taking trash out, in the dead of silence, I hear a crashing sound. Fast forward and I found out what it was. A large ponderosa pine with an approx DBH of atleast 32 in! There is also another one that fell next to it. Looks like it y'ed off into two crowns and snapped at the y. I still have an aprrox. 20 or more feet of that still standing. The previous owners also felled two large ponderosa's in the front. One was bucked up and I used for firewood, while the other still lays in whole length. Now, what I was thinking was utilizing these trees for some sort of domesti…

I just got hit by an IRS scammer. The phone number to watch for 334-435-2376. It will NOT identify as the IRS on the caller ID. Then a digital message will play about IRS pressing charges against someone at this number. Just be aware of these scammers!

Just needed to throw this out there. I have been running a set of tread wright tires on my 2010 1500 hemi When I bought them the only size they offered in D rated tires then was 285-70-17 but I run 160+ miles of gravel a week and c rated tires do not hold up and E rated tires are too harsh on a half ton but they do offer many more sizes in different load ranges now than a year ago. Well I have close to 20k miles on them and have been super impressed with them in the old BFG all terrain tread. I got them at the time for 560 shipped to my house. Tread wright now has their own branded tire cases and they had a sale going on this weekend and I snagged a set for my 05 250…

Well got to thinking today that stuff is going pretty good. Sure I am poor and my truck rattles, but I have a house, food, and a wife so how bad could it be? Anyways thought it was a good time to share some pictures of the little things. Nokie 8 or 9 years old.... don't remember. 1 year and 4 months ago she was given a month to live due to Cancer. She is sitting next to me now as happy and healthy as can be. Gotta say life is treating me pretty well, who knows how much longer she has, but I don't worry about that.

So I picked up some lathes recently. I haven't used a lathe for about 10 years, and never anything as old as these. The grey one is a 1935 South Bend 9" workshop lathe. The blue one is an Atlas/Craftsman 618 6" lathe. The craftsman didn't come with a full set of change gears. The South Bend is pretty complete. Other misc tooling and whatnot were included, and both are in very good shape aside from needing a cleaning. The photos are when I pulled them out of the truck, tooling and the other parts aren't shown.

Picked up an Deere 2210 with the yanmar 3TNE74 engine. i know nothing of this. anyone have any info or suggestions. i know Google can be useful. but i'd rather hear from trusted people on this forum. it has a gannon, and loader. i think i need to weight the rear tires as i can pick up things (rear of dodge truck ) with the loader and the back tires will lift. it only has 153 hours on it. so i'm not even sure if it's ever had it first oil change. as it's stated to "breakin" till 200 hours. anyhow, i'm going to drop the oil and put valvoline 15/40 in it. are these engines electronic injection? or POP style.? i can't find that even with googles help. …

You've seen tens of thousands of movies that tell you to "move along...there's nothing to see here by a police officier. There is plenty to see. It's blood, guts, pain, etc., and you won't forget it if you're involved. We have been programmed to not assist our fellow man. I'm waiting for the rain to stop and I'll do a film with Michael on the highway to point out to you the importance of having a lst aid kit, water, and a blanket. My deputies are not on US95....their stuck in their office. Our response time to assist any one just got a helluva lot longer. Your alone out there. That medical kit, water & a blanket will be you life-line. So for God's sake drop t…

I have two craftsman torque wrenches that are complete garbage that I would like to replace. At work, I use SnapOn and I really like them...but is there anything that you have used that you would recommend. I did a search on Amazon and there are a ton of different brands: Capri, Tekton, Nordstrand....the list goes on.
