Recent politics near me and also in a city I used to call home are gaining some attention! In recent, Wa state has approved a bill called, "i594". http://wagunresponsibility.org/about-594/ http://seattletimes.com/html/localnews/2025232637_gunrallyxml.html This has certainly heated some things up over here near me. This protest turned out good and no one was arrested or hurt. Just recently, I now became aware of a sticky situation occurring in Spokane. http://www.prisonplanet.com/spokane-police-department-faces-protest-over-sheriff-deputys-shocking-comments.html http://www.prisonplanet.com/police-armored-military-vehicles-needed-for-constitutionalis…

The truck sits for weeks at a time so my son thought it would be nice to dress it up for the holidays.

Wait some more only to find the part you need has to be ordered. Order Part. Come back later that day to pick up part; only to be told that the part with your name on it was sold to a shop that needed it now. WTF am I? Chopped liver? Way to grow your business pal!

Alright, so there have been a few things in my life that have redirected my outlook on personal health, hygiene, etc. With younger generations focusing more and more on well-being and with increase in awareness of whats in our food and maybe even obamacare, people are focusing on their health more. Now, such a thing does not mean that it affects me and what I do at my day job more, but it makes my future potentially brighter. Like I say, I can't help but brag. Why, you may ask? Well, it turns out, there is a local company that I never knew existed until I saw them hiring when I was looking for work. I knew it had something to do with manufacturing, and it was somethin…

  6. We had a large three foot diameter cedar about 15 feet from the house than used to shade our deck and high sunny windows. I was hesitant to take it down not only because of it's size but it afforded lots of shade to our back deck in summertime. But with three separate trunks starting about 30 feet up, each about 12 inches in diameter made it very top heavy. Plus one trunk was showing a 24'' crack/split like it would take out the deck and part of the house on that side. I decided to have it dropped. There are two other cedars growing close to this one so hopefully they will now branch out for getting all the shade back someday. Now after this monster was dropped you…

What the heck is going on with fuel prices you keep hearing about how the prices are going to come down. Ok here where I'm at in Central Idaho the price of diesel is still 3.759 and not changed. But unleaded gasoline has now pushed lower to 2.939 as of today. I'm going to have to park the Cummins and start driving the V8 again. But if the price of crude is going down should both diesel and gasoline be going down equally?

Well I lined up a get together with the Florida gang here while my wife and I were on Vacation the last week and a half in Florida. John and his wonderful wife Glenna Fak hosted the get together and had some great food for us all to fill up on. Thank you both and to everyone else who supplied food like the deer sausage Yabbadoo brought. Met with Yabbadoo, 98whitelightnin, Johnfak and his wife and one of there friends Bruce "not sure if he is a member here or not'. Looked over every ones rides and took a walk on the beach which is only about a block from Johns home. Awesome day and weather and people. BTW Yabbadoo, what kind of nuts were those again that ca…

  10. So a family friend is an Arborist. He has through the years accumulated some things for his business. One of which is an Woodmizer sawmill! He picked it up for 7k many years ago. His intention was that his boys through the years would use it to make some money while going through high school. They never posed interest in it nor used it. Its sat for a while now and has been used by few people through those years. The original owner made a living from it and then sold it to the family friend. Dunno what it was like then, but now, its been through a rough time it seems. It could use a new paint job and some fixing, fab work, etc. Some things have been added to it and "ji…

So, I'm not near enough crazy to go out and subject myself to any sort of danger or torture for the next best thing on the day called black Friday. But, I may occasionally take advantage of few things when this time comes around to save an extra dollar when I have the intent on eventually buying something. This time, I have plans on buying head studs for the truck. Been on the to buy list for a little bit now. Since DAP offered them on their black Friday deals I figured I would do them now and save a few dollars instead of waiting when I really needed them. Trouble is, I tried to apply the coupon code and it said it was not valid! So I cannot apply the deal to my …

This fellow has hung around along the road I drive to work for several years now and I just happened to have a camera handy today I stopped on the road and he posed for a snap shot but just one and his head is cranked around 180* as he is looking at me over his tail. He took off as I snapped the second pic. Hard to see but he has about a 4 foot wing span.

I have a TomTom XXL GPS... I'm thinking it's 3 years old. I paid extra to get Life Time Map updates since my previous didn't have this. I just went to download the latest map Updates & I get an error message Not Enough Room. Apparently I'm not the only one: http://uk.support.tomtom.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/12911/~/not-enough-space-to-update-the-map-zone Frankly I don't need the whole US, Canada + Mexico and some devises you can free up space by loading the region you need. NOT my XXL which requires TomTom Home 2 with no option for regional maps. I think I got it to downloads but only by deleting services I wanted. I doubt I'll be able to do this next ti…

I must say, it has taken me until now, that I finally see this. The killer has been exposed, and I'm taking care of it! Just recently been to the dentist and got my checkup and cleaning. Been much too long without seeing the dentist and getting a cleaning. I focused more on the wifes well being than mine. Did not have insurance and never could justify the expense of seeing the dentist. This trip though, has taken my whole outlook on my mouth in a whole new direction! I'm trying to redeem myself as best as possible and I pray that it can be stopped in its tracks. We all have our excuses for dental hygiene and I'm just like every other person who neglects things because…

So I have brought them inside the house and have them in my living room. Day before yesterday while out walking the Apiary and checking hives and my feeders I found a small swarm that landed on one of my syrup feeders. It was only about the size of a soft ball. I was astonished to see them this time of year and thought to myself they will NOT make through the night if I don't catch them and bring them in. I almost forgot about them while I was working on picking up honey supers and brood boxes but remembers them about 3 hours after dark and the temps took a huge dive. I am not sure if these are some of my bees or a feral swarm of bees but I will take any I can get.…

I went to visit my elderly mother who lives at the foot of the eastern Sierra mountains. I try to get down there often, from Oregon, because we don't know how long she will be with us. One fine day I decided to go hike up into a canyon valley. It's an area of great beauty because of the meadow and the high saw tooth ridge tops all around. Going quite a long way up this valley it becomes a very large canyon with huge walls of granite growing ever closer together. I then discovered a huge granite rock in the middle of the canyon about the size of 5 football fields and about 200 foot high. The oldest living organism on earth was growing out of the rock crevices on top…
