  • Back from 10 days of fishing in the Sierra Nevada mountains and this is what was in the campgrounds, the twins. This is at 7100' and night time lows of 26°-33°F.

  • I put a gallon of RV antifreeze in each of mine...

I bet you all forgot to change over to winter blinker fluid so the blinkers do freeze up in the winter.

I'm about to change tires, thinking about getting either bf goodrich ko2 or hankook dynapro atm, in 265/70/17

BF is made in US supposedly maybe by Michelin

Decisions decisions, I love shopping for this kind of stuff :kick:

Time to change the air in your tires from Summer air to Winter air for optimal performance.

I just added a few drops of freshener to mine.

I’m fortunate to have a used tire shop locally that found me a set of Goodyear all terrains for 300$. They have 75% tread left. I’ll get a pic tomorrow if I can remember.

I flushed my coolant out and put anti freeze in. Also put winter freon in so it blows hot out of the cold vents.

I could of saved you some money... Turn the fan belt around so the compressor spins backwards and it will blow hot air.

But that would turn my anti freeze back into coolant again. :ahhh:

i started putting socks on.   wife says I look funny in my sandals :shifty:

was 17 monday morning, I think it is 60 now lol.  Stupid Colorado.

We've been seeing 20's each morning, with 20°F being our lowest so far for the season. Still getting into the mid-upper 60's.

Our house is typically ~10°F colder than the airport, which is less than 10 miles away.

I just hope it stays cold in the morning,

Bambi is scheduled to meet his maker in the next 7 days same goes for bambi's bigger cousin elki

AKA it is hunting season and I need cool weather to push the animals into the area where we hunt.

I just got back last week from our trip, little earlier this year, and it's amazing what 10 days does for average temps. It was cool enough to keep the meat, but the nightly lows were not as low as we usually see.

This was all up at 6-9K feet.

We are hunting a new area so we dont really know what to expect, but cooler weather at night really helps get the herd moving back and forth between high and low.

please be late rutt.

Well heck then get the engine started in reverse and you can rewind that whole mess and the odometer too.

Can't. My 4" BHAF won't fit on my 5" exhaust. On second thought I could stuff my old K&N in the pipe to help lube the ole muffler bearing.

I'm not sure what unit you're going to but I've been up chasing elk around 38 and 29 with my 14 year old cousin on his first hunt. We had elk from 9-11k.
