Well I've made it home for the summer and it's time to start tearing this thing apart. I will begin tomorrow, but yesterday I took it to the dyno. Laid down 503 / 1215. I was very pleased with the numbers, but the knocking is getting worse to it's time to take it apart.

I already commented over on CF but looking good man! What exhaust tip are you running?

Your truck looks great, I would love to build a bumper like that.

Thanks! I got it from a buddy but it doesn't have a brand on it. Looks just like this one though

Thanks! PITA to build, but I really like the extra protection it provides the front end.

I am used to the multi point turn that my old short bed didn't have.  There are days I wish I had kept my 2000 and P pumped it.  Oh well.

The turning radius of my long bed 4X4 is better than any long bed 2WD I have ever owned. The short bed might blow my mind. A 5th wheel requires that darn sliding hitch I never wanted. I assume a goose neck does not require anything like that.

I learned to drive in a 97 F-350 and a 88 2500 IFS GMC...  Both had the turning radius of your average oil tanker.

Once in a while I drive the wife's 4runner, and I really wonder about this whole truck devotion thing.

My wife is driving a 98 Saturn sl2 4 door. it has the turning radius of a golf ball.

I really wish I could find a Gasser f350 OBS CC......  I would be so happy to push my truck off a cliff.

460 miles of testing, city driving, and highway driving at 85... 17.5mpg. No complaints there :burnout:

So the copper tubing on my DP gauge kept plugging. It was an 1/8in line, so I went out and converted everything to 1/4in today.

Hopefully that will keep it reading true and not plugging up.

Did you find your exhaust leak?

Yes. It's the gasket between the spacer and the manifold. I'm not going to replace it until I get a larger housing though :stirthepot:

I'm hoping that as well!

Hopefully going to the ATS dyno event Saturday and getting it on the rollers!

Man, that looks great.  I applaud those that keep the engine looking so good.  What is the reason for coil of tubing?  Do you have to have the length?
