Happy New Year to you all. On my way to the Oregon coast to do some whale watching. I told my wife we don't have to drive that far, that we could just go to the local Walmart... she didn't find that as funny as I did.
  2. This is who built mine, http://www.northamericanturbo.com They probably have parts for whatever you need. I have a 35/40 something else hybrid, but if you're not using exhaust brake that bolts to turbo with 5 bolts then I would just get sx362 I believe is what I was recommended, close to what I have now but with 4" exhaust outlet, mine is only 3".
  3. Reading through this thread, I do not see any information describing your truck, so a lot has to be assumed. On my truck, the CAD unit (center axle disconnect) has to be actuated to turn on the 4x4 lamp. The switch for the 4x4 indicator lamp is located on the end of the external vacuum operated portion of the CAD unit. If the 4x4 indicator lamp operates properly (off and on when it should be), then a vacuum leak is not likely your problem because the rod that the vacuum motor operates is what contacts the 4x4 lamp switch. So, if the lamp lights when four wheel drive has been selected, then the vacuum motor has doen its job. Likely there is a damaged shift fork or collar inside the CAD unit on the front axle. - John
  4. No problem pepsi, I have no doubt you can drive where you are needed.
  5. A little babbling stupidity never hurt anyone. I am well versed.
  6. @portlandareae28 Use the Gearing calculator we built.
  7. You’re in our prayers mike best of luck.
  8. Spray the fittings with PB Blaster, Liquid Wrench or some other quality rust penetrant; WD-40 is no better than using diesel fuel and it may work but takes longer. Be sure to use tight fitting flare wrenches on the brake line fittings. The hard line fittings like to round off so take your time. After the hose is replaced you may only have to bleed that caliper. If the peddle is still soft then bleed the whole system starting at the right rear brake. Good luck and Happy New Year
  9. Wish me luck guys. I'm scheduled for Wednesday at 2:15pm to get this scrapped out of me. See you all either that even with a babbling message of stupidity or I'm posting in the morning. I'll let you all know.

Just posting the follow up stuff. Put a new pump in and all appears to be solved. Went with an industrial injection pump from a local shop. Had a little trouble getting it started, mainly from weak batteries. Up and running with no codes. Thanks Bill
  13. I also have the EZ and the RV275's but with a 4:10 and 245/75-16 with a 47RE. My 5th wheel trailer is 8k and some times I put about another 600 pounds behind that with a 14' boat, motor, gear and trailer. I tow all over: from the flats of Des Moines, IA to Jasper in the Canadian Rockies. On the flats overdrive is on and locked up with cruise control set at 65mph. When going up a long 6% grade I down shift to 3ed, the torque convertor locked up with my 'mystery switch' and the cruise control set to 55mph. I still have peddle left to go faster but why push it and abuse what's going to get me there and back. The fan clutch an a clean air flow over the radiator keeps any overheating problem at bay. This is what my gauges look like after going up a 6% grad after a couple miles and still going up. The exhaust is at 850°F, fluid temp exiting transmission is160°F, fuel pressure at 20psi and the boost is 20psi. The green LED light tells me the convertor is locked with the 'mystery switch'.
  14. Sucks to hear that kind of news, but hang in thier, wish the best for both you and your mom. I know I’ve had my share of ER and hospital time in the last couple years, not for my self but immediate family members in life threatening situations, A lot of times being in a hospital and looking for ways to pass the time I find myself surfing this site and it’s always been good therapy just to get your mind off of things . It’s good to know you got members close by that’s willing to give a hand
  15. 100% Absolutely agree... I understand most doctors are kind of back and forth about medical weed. There is more than getting stoned. The CBD family is more of the medical side of thing compared to the THC side which most people want to get stoned. Truthful there is benefits from both families of weed. I'm not shy about the idea at all. It's my body, my choice. To be totally honest that is one of the few reasons why I never was a big alcohol drinker because of the effect alcohol took away my mental abilities. I always thought the same about weed. I've listened to several on this but never got into it because I was healthy. Now the story changed and time to be proactive on healing as much as I can herbalistic and naturally as much as I can. I know I'm still got to go in and get the growth removed but... Why rely on big pharma?
  16. Sorry to hear that Mike, hopefully it's nothing serious. Getting old sucks, I've been slowly falling apart myself and refuse to go to doctors, at least for now. A good diet, sleep, minimal stress is what we all need. And of course it's not always in our schedule. We tend to go and go until something big happens and only then we're willing to make a change, part of being human I guess. Healthy life style can and will cure most of anything. But it is us that need to make it happen. Get well.
  17. Dec. 11, 2018 was my first night of running the 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 215 tires on snow. All I can say is WOW! These things really bite the pavement even with a snow-covered highway. It snowing pretty good on the way home that little 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 ran great with the 215/85 R16 tires. Came to Fort Hall Grade and was count all the car and truck slid off the highway there were 6 vehicles all slid off the highway most with wide tires. I was still running 2WD. After seeing about 3 of then I pull the transfer case into 4WD. Still, in all, I was still cruising 45 to 50 MPH and it was snow good. Broke over the top of the grade and down the backside still awesome control. Grabbed the O/D off button let the truck unwind down the grade. Hit the bottom of the valley and went back to overdrive and 45 to 50 MPH speeds. This is the best this little truck has ever run in the snow!
  18. You can use this Spreadsheet to change the Gear ratio and tire size on your Cummins powered Truck You will see the typical peak power RPMS in green on the chart. To use this tool, enter your Trucks values into the Yellow Highlighted Fields. Tire Size is inputted into Field B5-D5 Truck type should be inputted to match the truck ( not useful yet) Options are "4wd Quad" "2wd Quad" "4wd Single" "2wd Single" Tire Type can be Offroad or Road ( not useful yet) Truck Weight can be any value ( not useful yet) Rear End Ratio can be any value Trans Type can be any trans from fields A:22 - H:22 **Spelling is critical** Use "47re" if you have a 48re Transfer Case can be "High" or "Low" for range select, Use this to edit the MPH values per gear. High can be any value to define Transfer case gearing Low can be any value to define Transfer case gearing Download HERE: mopar1973man gearing calc.xlsx This Spreadsheet will cover rear end gears of any custom amount, trannys listed are nv4550, nv5600, 47re, 48re, g56, 68rfe, as69rc.
