  1. Shade tree mechanic back at it

Both @Tweety Bird and I gotta have a break from all this. I had to deal with rusted slide pins on the calipers front and rear axle. We managed to find enough of my tools to at least do a simple repair. Suzanna has been busy packing the RV so we can go take a break camping locally.

I'm kind of amazed. Got the front brakes done with slide pins. Both side you had to beat the pins out of the boots. The last time I did brakes at 350k miles till now with 497k miles and rolling.

Finished this project. Sadly I found my MPG loss. Driver side rear was stuck on the side pins and ate those pads up about 1/4 of a inch left.
  2. Google Search & Webpage CLS

I spent a good part of the day trying to recover from a loss of search engine ranking. Yeah, I have been super busy dealing with insurance agents and people coming and going. Now things are settling down, I jumped back into the website more so. On to the website stuff.

My biggest hit was a problem called Content Layout Shift, or CLS for short. We had most of the mobile phone pages were as high as 0.44, which is a huge fail.

Now to see this for me I have to logoff and view from a guest level. Yeah this started to explain the problem why the search engine is dropping search results we are falling out of the first place.

Now to fix this problem, being I have a dynamic webpage. Mopar1973Man.Com will allow you on a desktop to pull the window frame smaller width-wise and the webpage will automagically change from desktop, to tablet, then to mobile format screen. Basically, we need to make sure that frames for Google Ads are pre-laid out, in other words, reserve space on the screen for the ad to be placed without skewing any page text or graphics up or down. Inside the backend of the website, I have a way to add CSS scripts to the theme so I can alter the way information is displayed.

    Here is my Custom CSS
    /* GOOGLE AD CODE FOR RESPONSIVE ADS */ #ipsLayout__main .adsbygoogle { width: 320px; height: 300px; display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; } @media (min-width:500px) { #ipsLayout__main .adsbygoogle { width: 480px; height: 300px; } } @media (min-width:800px) { #ipsLayout__main .adsbygoogle { width: 780px; height: 300px; } } @media (min-width:1050px) { #ipsLayout__main .adsbygoogle { width: 1040px; height: 300px; } }Now you have to go back over your Google Adsense code to add a bit of custom code around the Google Adsense code.

    <div id="ipsLayout__main" class="adsbygoogle"> <script async src="https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-0000000000000000" crossorigin="anonymous"></script> <!-- Header Ad --> <ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display:block" data-ad-client="ca-pub-0000000000000000" data-ad-slot="0000000000" data-ad-format="auto" data-full-width-responsive="true"></ins> <script> (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); </script> </div>Here is how the magic works.

The custom CSS script creates a container on the webpage. I'm more worried about the height pixel more so than the width. It's the vertical shift of information on the page that is where the issue of CLS comes into play. The CSS script checks the screen size (window) and then, if the window size is at the "min-width" value, then the reserved space is width and height values to the right on the same line. This keeps the layout from moving as the ad loads from Google. The <div> tags in the HTML code of Google AdSense this is what create this container in the code.

The results of the code change below. The Google side panel is on the right showing the CLS value of a few random pages.

  3. Landslide - Update

First, let me say that for any of you who own your homes, please review your insurance policies. I just found out that the majority of homeowners are not covered for landslides, mudslides, earth movement (earthquakes), etc. Like me, it's a completely lost. The insurance policy doesn't cover this at all, not one dime. For all those religious people who walked up and said they would pray for me. They packed up and left the scene quickly and gave ZERO help at all. Even my neighbor who is part of the same church group, came over drunk with a glass of wine and offered ZERO help.

As for @Tweety Bird and myself, I know we have been kind of MIA right now. We have been trying to unload all of @Tweety Bird house into my garage. We are downsizing to financial responsibility. Then, to make matters worse, you start with the NO KINGS protest (https://nokings.org). Most of you know I'm a Trump Supporter! We have one small load of stuff to grab out of her garage, and we are done. The house is going on the market. Nampa, Idaho, is an armpit right now with protests and construction everywhere. Yeah, during my last visit down there, dealing with medical too I was pulled over by a Boise City Police officer in Downtown Boise because of smoke and loud exhaust. (Oops. Wrong tune loaded.) There are state police, county police all over the place because of the possibility of riots because of the NO KINGS protest.

So, doing inventory of the house debris, my ATV is damaged beyond repair, both of Mark's trucks are destroyed, and all of Mark's and my tools are scattered all over the place. I don't have a full set of tools! We did get lucky and find, like my bow and Mark's bow. Mark's black powder rifle is undamaged. Still have not found the big double door refrigerator, stove/oven, etc. I'm hoping my MIG welder made it, but doubtful. The washer and Drier of @Tweety Bird is crushed and gone. Currently, I have no way to even pull the injectors out of Thor to send back to @dieselautopower because I've lost most of my tools. Like my air compressor is damaged, shouldn't be used. 4kw generator got ruined, etc. Thousands upon thousands of dollars of damaged tools, equipment, and building, all gone and not covered by my homeowner's insurance.

I've gotten some donated funds to keep fuel in the equipment (track hoe, and skid steer) here so we can keep digging. Thanks to the Dischinger Family for bringing TRUE HELP! His wife made us all dinner the night of the slide. Their son AJ, has been helping out with running the equipment and digging up stuff slowly so we can try to recover stuff. Andrew has been super helpful and brought other friends to aid in the dig for our stuff.

I'm calling on any of the Mopar1973Man.Com family for help. You all have to remember that since my battle with cancer, I've been dealing with my health problems including my Stage 3a Chronic Kidney Disease and my ostomy that I now have for the rest of my life. This puts me in a bad place where I can't even help to move all this. It's been a challenge just trying to move @Tweety Bird here with me. Even if all you can do is support me on the website as a staff member and watch over the site as I try and handle other problems I've got to handle.

Be aware that some people might get their feelings hurt. Understand that their action hurts us as a family.

At this point, I want to say to all you "religious people" who keep doing the same thing, "I'll pray for you!" You, my friend, are part of the problem! We have had so many come here to peer at the destruction and just walk away to say the same phrase, "I'll pray for you!" and do absolutely nothing to help us. Please, if you can help, please take action and do the right thing and help. Either with donations, equipment, or time, etc. I've even contacted my local church group to that I was with and got the same answer "I'll pray for you!" Please, I'm truly asking for help to move dirt and clean up this mess that is taking forever because too many people want to do the LAZY thing and "I'll pray for you!" then leave.

As you can see, most everything was damaged or turned into junk rather quickly. A few things under plastic that was some computer parts I've kept.

They recovered my ATV, which is a total loss. Damaged beyond repair.

Mark's 1998 5.9L V8 Magnum truck seriously damaged and possibly a bent frame. It was shoved sideways for about 20 to 30 feet.

You can see both my Mother's bicycle and mine are a loss too.

All I'm asking for is some help to hopefully clean all this up and then hopefully build a shop in a new location on the property. Like all my ability to do the little articles and such just came to a screeching halt. Without even a basic set of tools, it's tough to do an oil change right now. I don't even have a chainsaw to go get firewood with for winter or even cut the fallen trees up in the landslide. Seriously, I've lost everything!

Toss in my cancer battle, social security battle, and now the landslide that wiped out my guest house and shop. It's very depressing and mentally tough to handle on a daily. Just imagine for a second you get up every day and look out your front window, and see this mess. The best you get for help is "I'll pray for you!" Please understand it is not only just me who is affected, but also Mark and Suzanna, we all live together in the main house.
  4. Mopar1973Man.Com Shop was leveled by a landslide.
Yeah, with a heavy heart, I lost my entire shop and guest house to a landslide. I won't discuss how this all happened yet. The biggest thing I lost was the entire building. My Best Friend, Mark Hall, was living in my guest house. He was one of the few who helped me out with my cancer. He was protected by a guardian angel. I just saw where his bed landed and what pinned Mark in the house. Mark's Dog Hachi made it too, and no injuries. We managed to hunt for stuff. Like my huge black tool box it was there under the roof lot of our tools between Mark and I. There are tools but scattered all over the ground, spilled out during the landslide. As you can see I had a load of stuff from @Tweety Bird on my BigTex trailer pulled by Thor. We got home at 1:30am and hit the bed by 2am. This event happened at 6am roughly in the morning.

I would like to apologize in advance for my being missing in action for the last few weeks, I've been busy getting @Tweety Bird moved in with me. Then the landslide issues were another that really took all my attention from the website for the last few weeks.

  5. I was coming back from Lewiston, ID, a few days ago. I looked down at my fuel gauge in Riggins, ID and just above 3/4 of a tank. Within about 2 miles, it popped the elbow quick connect off the return line and started pumping fuel on the highway. I notice the fuel gauge rapidly dropping shut the key down. The AirDog pump stopped and pulled over, found the quick connect fitting blew off, and dumped $100 of fuel on the highway in under 2 miles. I'm in the process of hunting down the old steel JIC connectors for the AirDog 150. I'm not a fan of these junk plastic fittings, so here really soon I'll post up the fitting part numbers and where to buy them.

I'm no longer going to use these cheap plastic connectors and hope and pray the fuel system doesn't blow apart in the back country hauling my trailers.

    @dieselautopower - Mitchell I'm working on it!

  6. Got up today and hopped out after Thor to finish up the front seats. The driver's side repaired seat looks patched and actually appears correct in the roll of the foam. Being I've got 3 days plus of clear warm weather coming we need to get @Tweety Bird moved out of Nampa ID, promptly. The Big Tex trailer is all hitched up and tested, all tail light functions are present and even for short trip down the driveway and back up the side yard I had good brakes on the trailer and you can feel it tug back some.

Found the factory truck side of the taillight loom behind the fender had a broken ground wire. Now the parking lights work correctly. Then seen the other wire from the brake controller had to be butchered to make it work again. Sucks, but gotta make Thor work right now we need this truck now for the job at hand.

The seat repair turned out great. I'm enjoying the driver seat again, being my left hip is not sitting on the steel seat frame any longer. As I said in my previous blog, right now funds or thin for this project, so I've gotta hold tight for funds.

  7. Looking for members that wish to help!

Hey there gang, I'm looking for people who truly want to get involved with the website. I'm adding functions like the Gallery so people can place there truck photos up and show them off to the rest of the world. The Event Calendar is going to be set up for the idea that we might plan travel trip to places and share our location so people can meet up with me. I also want to bring the Zoom meetings together too. I'm going to be building articles on Thor here shortly we are going to have more information on 3rd Gen Trucks soon. I'm serious I'm looking for people who want to get involved in building up this website. I'm willing to teach and show you around. Most of the stuff you would be handling is from the front end and no code knowledge is required. Anyone wishing to become part of the staff please contact either @Mopar1973Man or @Tweety Bird and we will interview you and see what you have to offer the website.
  8. Clean Up Day and some Seat Repair

Today I bounced outside, and it was warm and sunny. I wanted to get busy trying to make Thor cleaner and comfortable. Yeah, grab the power washer and nearly a gallon of degreaser and give Thor a good washing down on the engine so I can hunt oil leaks and other things. Don't need a greasy engine. I sprayed down the door jams and hinges so I can lube them back up and get the creaky door hinges to stop. The driver seat was pretty bad I peeled the seat bases out of both sides. Not really hard, just need to be sure to unhook each hook on the frame of the seat. You'll see in my photos I took an old 2nd Gen Seat and chopped up a chunk of foam from the 2nd Gen passenger seat (salvaged truck). Now I slowly pieced the seat foam back together with Gorilla Spray Contact Cement. This worked out great for binding foam together. I also cut a chunk of fabric out of that old 2nd Gen seat and used it to fill it.

When funds are available I'm planning on purchasing the new seat skin and the foam pad both...

  9. Terms Of Use and Policies

@Tweety Bird And I have been busy rewriting the terms of use and policies for the website. This is all new website software, and more features now than in the past. We felt that it was time to review the dated policies and realize we need to totally rebuild everything. Here, shortly, there will be a full database of policies for everything on the website for the usage policy. This is being built in a database so that when other issues develop, we can append to the current policies easily. This will be broke down in a modular design so there will be a policy for each division of the website.

Then I've been digging through the site. I'm trying to get everything working right when I've got time at the keyboard. I know the event calendar is currently broken. I need to grab a few days at home and be able to do tag team with the software manufacturer so I can get this resolved. The event module needs to be repaired. I want to post Zoom Meeting schedules. Yup! I'm going to push forward. I'm getting tired of social media and the censoring of speech. Since I have the website, I need to build up a few more features, like face-to-face Zoom meetings to help you fix your trucks. Yeah, I just leaked an idea... 😱😁
  10. I had to run up and get some new meds my kidney doctor wants me to try and hopefully help my kidneys heal. I opted for full white face and blacked out my neck. OMG I had fun walking around the store and all the great comments.

    Surprise ive got video proof!

  11. Long Nap for Beast

Beast, is nearing 500k miles on the odometer. I'm doing the smart thing at this time and parking Beast back in the garage for a long nap. I need to do both a front and rear crank seal on Beast. Beast needs to be parked and left in storage for the time being. I want to be out and building new tunes for Beast. Thor is going to take the lead at this time. This will allow me the time to fix Beast properly. Beast final project was the chasing the truck bed and tailgate.
  12. Boise & Medical

Here is am taking a road trip down Tuesday for medical for both @Tweety Bird and myself handling my Cronic Kidney Disease. Yeah my cancer might be over but I'm still with health issues. Yesterday I was dressed up similar to today's pictures. My nurse sure enjoy chatting with me and wondering why the make up.

Something about having radioactive material injected into you and watch you kidneys light up on a X-ray screen then watch them drain into my ostomy in realtime. Yeah that test was super close to blow out. My bag was full!

Yeah they still betting on me in my purple and black hair. The day is young yet ill see about updating with more pictures and adventures.

Oh no chatting for me. The gallery will show locations where photos have been taken. Let's see what else I can do for locations.
  13. The Stealth AirDog on a 3rd Gen

Here you go, gang, I've gone and done it now. I found the next great hiding place on a 3rd Gen Truck and gave the AirDog a protected spot. I mocked up the bracket in the bed and then mounted the pump bracket upside down against the inner bed wall. This makes it a bit tricky to get the 4 Allen bolts in and tight. Then I managed to get the suction line hooked up to the modified sender straw. Then I removed and cut the filler neck hose and inserted the return tee into the filler neck hose. Clamped the tee in place in the filler neck hose. Now hooked up the return line for the AirDog. I'm going to have to redo my electrical, since I need a bit more wire to reach the pump, but I'll get it.

I crawled under Thor and using a 1/2 breaker bar and loosen the fan belt tension. I was able to hop up on the bumper and get the new idler pulley installed and tighten up. Now I'll admit the fan belt was a bit higher with the new pulley. Got it all back together.

Then I was looking at my leaking radiator. The driver side radiator header tank is cracked in the front face. I've got to look into replacing the radiator in Thor since the plastic tank is cracked. Maerk and I are looking into the idea of plastic welding the crack shut for a band-aid fix.
  14. Nampa, ID here we come!

@Tweety Bird and I loaded up into Thor. I've got a medical visit here in Nampa to see about saving my right kidney. Thor is going be helping us relocate tweety bird to my nest. Yup, she is moving out and in with me. As for the trip down Thor ran great. Very smooth ride and good power till you build a little bit too much boost... P0234 code. Funny. Pull over erase the error code and continued down the road. Now comparing the previous MPG to now. 4 MPG gain. Still remember I've got blow by issues. Another long run.
  15. Thor becoming part of the family

Yeah, Thor is in rough shape. The interior is well-worn and dirty from two years of my using it as a service truck. Now, Thor is becoming the next article truck for the website. I've got a Mopar1973Man banner already pulled out for the truck's rear window. Then, Thor's first task is going to be hauling a full load of scrap metal to Lewiston, Idaho. Thor is going to provide all the 3rd Generation articles we need. I'm currently writing an article for the AirDog 150 fuel system I'm installing. I'm going to go back and build an article on the Boost and Pyrometer I installed for the previous owner. Thor is going to be my next bad boy truck that Mopar1973Man.Com knows how to build. After the lewiston trip is done then I've got a few trips down to @Tweety Bird place to finish moving her out of her place in Nampa, Idaho. Thor is going to be used quite a bit and doing a lot of heavy hauling.

In my chat with @Tweety Bird I remembered I had the phone number of the second previous owner of Thor and sent him a text message. He's sad to see the winch bumper and the flat bed go away. By the time I'm done, Bradon might want that truck back after cleaning it up and getting all the problems ironed out and turning this into another Beast with all the power and high MPG's. Who would turn their nose up at that, eh?
  16. Thor is on the road!

Thor is on the road. OMG! What a change to dropping that flatbed and going to a normal truck bed. I've got scale weights from back when Thor was a service truck and now with the normal truck bed.

Flatbed with tools and all equipment - 9,600 pounds
Normal truck bed -------------------------- 7,300 pounds
    Weight Savings ---------------------------- 2,300 pounds

This truck is quick now. I can row the gears and accelerate pretty darn quickly. Thor still has a few issues, like the exhaust brake quit. I got a new radiator for Thor, but I just tucked it in the shop for now. I need to get a trailer load of scrap metal hauled to Lewiston soon, so we have some extra funds. I will say Thor runs much cooler in EGTs now, MPG is up how much is uncertain as of yet. Thor is now going to be my daily driver truck, allowing me to repair Beast properly. The flatbed and front winch bumper might be sold to a local gent. We will see. All in all, I'm super impressed with the weight reduction and the fact that I can now use Thor to tow my RV for camping. Previously, I couldn't use my RV hitch because the rear hitch point was too low to the ground.

Little bugs need to be shaken out and get Thor shaped up now.
  17. Stalled The Engine

I was attempting to keep you all informed of the work happening here using the Blog system. Sadly, there were bugs in the software, some bugs have been fixed. We made it to the Invision Community Version 5 software. Things have been a bit weird and tough for me to catch up and get everything working correctly.

Blogs had an error where the categories couldn't be managed. When I attempted to delete one category, it deleted both of my previous blog posts. Opps. Yeash it sucked but I'll stumble and get back up and running properly and keep making the site better and faster. Yes, the blogs are a new feature that is part of the website package now.

The mobile and desktop themes both come with light and dark color themes. This can be selected at the bottom of your screen. By default, the screen will auto-adjust between the light and dark, typically dark with mobile devices. Remember, you can have light or dark at a touch of the icon at the bottom.

I know there are issues with the Event calendar that is going to be used now. The design plan is that you'll notice there is no phone number listed. I'm going to start an appointment-based call back and phone support. Take notice that the only contact information is my snail mail address. Phone contact will be done by appointment base.

I can no longer just give away my knowledge or my information on the website. I'm a PRIVATELY OWNED website. I'm not like Cummins Forum, which is owned by VerticalScope Inc. Mopar1973Man.Com is a small business privately owned and maintained privately. Yes, this means I'm responsible for all bills and services to keep this running.

Phone Support appointment based - $50.00 an hour based on the time logged on my phone.
Subscriptions - These are required to interact with Mopar1973Man or get support for your vehicle.

Articles and Elite Articles will be merged, and Elite Articles will be removed soon.

The download section remains fairly the same, but the Listing is now Grid Styled.

Gallery Section is another new feature I'm already hard at work using for my blogs now and my artwork as well. I want to invite all the members to show off their trucks in the generation categories, and then I can start voting for Trucks of the Month. We can change up the generation categories and have fresh pictures of members' rides.

I've been digging through the article database and found several little things I wanted to fix, being that the website is in a state of flux right now with the Article Database having URL edits done. You might find old URL links that might not work now. Sorry, but give a bit of time to allow Google to reindex this in the days to come.
  18. Bumpin' The Bumpers

I got a little bit done today with Thor. I've now got bumpers on Thor. The rear bumper is off a 2005 Dodge Hemi and fits perfect. I got it bolted up and license plate on the rear bumper. Looks good. Now the front bumper is off a 4th Gen truck doesn't quite fit right. Its a bumper and will have to do for the time being. Now the other problem is the electrical is strange but 2006 was a single year where the taillights was totally different. It's like the 2007 for all the plugs and everything works but the brake lights. Now the 2005 wiring the main plug at the fender in the front is way different. I got a another butchered tail light loom and got it for free because it was a trainwreck cut wires everywhere. I got the plugs I needed for the tail lights now start testing for signals for brakes, turn, running lights, and backup lights. Yup it all works just got to modify my loom to have the new plugs on the ends. Mark is going to chase some solder and shrink tubing so I can get this wired up.

Side note also... I went out this morning thinking I just fire up and move the truck near the shop. The batteries were near dead. Enough to light the dash but not enough to even kick the starter. Thor is sitting out front of the shop with a battery charger for the night.
  19. I had to make a return trip and try to find the right wiring for a 2006 Dodge Ram. The weird part is that a 2005 tail light loom has different plugs than the 2006 main plug. The 2007 loom is totally different and is missing the white/tan lead for brake light, assuming that there is a turn signal stalk that cancels and supplies the brake signal down the turn signal lead like typical. Nope, Thor is different, where he has a separate tail light bulb for a brake light. Being I cannot get a 2006 loom for the tail lights at this time, I'm going to hack this up and make it work being right now the 2007 loom actually works perfectly for everything but brake lights. Since the white/tan lead is there, I can adapt the new plug that fits a sealed beam tail light. This is going to be fun too. 🤨
  20. Hit the wall...

I spent some time this morning tracing out the brake light function from the cab to the taillights. Then I found out the taillight loom I got from a 2007 will NOT work. It's a single taillight setup. Problem I figured out that there are two taillights in the wiring diagram and then started looking for the white/tan lead nope. Not there. Now I'm on hold, waiting to see if the salvage yard has a 2005 wiring loom so I can get the right wiring. The project is on hold for a bit to sort out the electrical for the taillights.
  21. Titanium, wows people for breakfast!

@Tweety Bird and I needed to run out and take care of a few things. I hopped in the shower and got cleaned up, and with fresh, clean skin and shaved, I started doing my makeup for the day. I did standard black makeup and wore my blue wig. Nothing fancy by any means but I've wowed another store worker today. @Tweety Bird and I stopped to get breakfast out, which I know of an awesome place for breakfast burritos. Old Towne Market has a small cafe in the back of the store. The gal working there I knew the gal at the counter; she took our order and handed the ticket back to me to pay up front. Ok. The gal at the till has kind of a blue-gray hair. I told her it looked awesome. She commented about my appearance. She was so intrigued about my appearance that she started asking questions then I revealed the cancer story somewhat, and she loved the fact I continue to do makeup and dress the part. Still, to this day, I get all kinds of stellar comments about my appearance.

At another stop, I picked up a bit of fuel in Minnie. Now I'm pumping fuel in Minnie, and the older gent pulls in with a Ford 7.3L 1 Ton that looks awesome and is running great. Diesel man, I am. I gave him a kind comment about his Ford truck. I walked over after pumping my fuel and started a conversation about diesel dressed up as Titanium. This gent, being kind, basically stated strange-looking but hella knowledgeable. At that point, it didn't matter what I looked like, but the facts of my knowledge to help this old man fix up his 7.3L Ford floored him. I told him about his rear tires being over-inflated and how to fix it with my math formula. I showed him my phone from the website. Then I told him to consider replacing injectors because 176k miles is a bit long on factory injectors. He was very thankful I just happened to be there to give him info,

This is why I don't care if I'm dressed up as Titanium, Mopar1973Man, or just Michael Nelson. I steal the show anywhere I go, any way I'm dressed. Titanium is my favorite way to be in public. No matter where I go, I'm always finding someone to just wants to ask why. Now, when the cancer story comes forward and the fact I lost all the hair on my head and found a way to enjoy life yet with cancer and still look good. Remember this is why I will be getting married soon. I met in the West Portico building in Meridian, ID, and had the luck of meeting her twice It was Suzanna who asked me for my phone number.

There are just too many great things that come from my wonderful makeup work and the person I am! Would you stop doing this? Or would you be the one like me who wants to see how far down the rabbit hole this goes?
  22. Are you stopping?

I had other running around to do today. By the time I came back home, I only had a few hours of daylight left before the shadows of the mountain start casting on the valley floor. I managed to get the filler neck installed and managed to cut the unleaded neck out to fit the diesel fuel nozzle at a fuel station. I was getting sore from lying on the ground to deal with that, so I shifted over to dealing with the brake light issue. Now I got power past the brake light switch still not making it to the taillights, so I've got more testing with a test light to find the issue. I'm so close to having this truck running so I can deal with repairing Beast that is nearly 500k miles and having serious oil leaks around the crankshaft seals, both front and rear.
  23. I managed to get alot done today on Thor. Everyone was pitching in between Mark and Suzanna. We temporarily rigged up the AirDog fuel system so I could move the entire truck outside. I've got a trick I'm going to show on Thor that I'm doing for a AirDog soon. Already got the straw done in the sender basket. Then pulled Beast up with the trailer and used the a-frame to unload the new bed for Thor. Then, Thor was fired up, rolled out the door, lifted the bed up, and carefully lowered the bed back on Thor. I've got a problem with the brake lights not working, so I've gotta chase that problem quickly. I'm very pleased with the bed and the tailgate. The tailgate has a few minor dents, and then the bed has a few extra holes but is in good condition small dents. I've got more projects to do to this truck like sealing the radiator (another trick I wanna try). I've got an idler pulley for the fan belt to install. Then a full oil change. Then I'll have a working truck to use when I'm busy fixing Beast.

What I figured out tonight just looking over wiring diagrams and quick test of power at the 26 Fuse in the TIPM and found both terminals of the fuse to be dead without power. I've got a post over on the forum...

  24. Closer to being whole again

Yesterday, I got the electrical for the bed strung down frame. I have all new electrical running to the bedand taillights. Now I've got to get Mark to give me a hand and unload the new bed from the trailer to the frame of Thor. I'm planning on installing the AirDog 150 too. Today I've got to grab my old fuel pump I saved on the shelf and drill the straw through it and install. I've got a awesome idea of installing the AirDog in the bed side but I gotta look ar how much room I have after the filler neck is hooked up. Yeah I've got a gasser filler neck but its a 2nd Gen neck. Little work with a dremel tool I can open up that narrow unleaded to diesel sized nozzle hole.
