  1. I have one comment...BOOM, flop.
  2. A buddy is going to help me weld together my CCP front bumper this weekend. Is disconnecting both negative battery cables sufficient protection for electrical systems on the truck. We gotta tack weld it together on the truck to get the correct shape. Then remove for best angles to run the long welds on the bench.
  3. I hope you find the source of your knocking. Long way around to the VP though.
  4. Dr. Laura says...choose wisely and treat kindly. I know from my first marriage that treating kindly doesn't help if you've not chosen wisely. Substance abuse is hard on marriages. Even Christian marriages fail. But they have a much better chance, as when God comes first in your life, the rest seems easier. God is a constant and unwavering relationship that we should pattern ourselves after.
  5. Worked on the old wooden ships. Why not a home?
  6. The best brake pads are good trailer brakes. If you tow, keep your trailer brakes up. I set mine to brake more than the truck would by itself.
  7. Here you go dorkweed. Had to stop and take a pic. Next milestone is years down the road. Excuse the fir needles and dust. Should I be thinking about any kind of maintenance that's not done till 200k? Like changing the spark plugs.
  8. All original VP, auto transmission. Did change to torque converter though. It failed at about 150,000.
  9. The truck end seems to suffer the most. Gets water in it from road spray and is always out there as opposed to the trailer end that sits a lot. I find dielectric grease helps but every few years you just gotta replace it.
  10. Signs are pointing to Jesus' return sooner than later. Look at the Catholic Churches position supporting Palestine. That 67 border will gobble up a lot of historic Jewish and Christian historical sights and make them unavailable. Besides the bible which calls for Christians to support Gods chosen people. Obama is another nail in the coffin. We're toast as a nation. Seems that the Catholic Church has forgotten biblical scripture. Then churches moving towards the trend of a society that has no values. Sad times. Shore up your standing with God and hold on. Be ready to die for admitting you're a Christian.
  11. Are there any radio/GPS/backup camera combo's like in the new trucks that will fit into the radio cutout in our dashboards?
  12. No I have some worker brood.
  13. No apologies necessary, my first year. The drones are out of control. But there is a frame or two of capped brood, but have not seen a queen. The capped worker brood has a nice full pattern, but not much of it. I was doing well with population increase and added another brood box. Then a super. I am using foundation less and they started out drawing drone comb. Not just a little, but whole frames. I've been going through the hive weekly. I'm thinking I should condense the hive back down.
  14. I think I lost my queen. Lots of drones and worker population is low. Backfilling brood nest with nectar. Things not very orderly.
  15. I want good tread life, decent traction. Lots of rain here, so good performance on wet hi ways. Also less expensive than the BFG's. Low noise desired too. D cent tread depth too.
  16. How many plies, load rating?
  17. I'm running 265/75-16 tires. BFG KO's. I'm at 50,000 miles on these and they're almost bald. Any other semi aggressive tire recommendations out there? I run one set year round. 90% street use and 10% hunting on gravel roads, snow, etc.. Prefer tires with the snowflake so they're rated as traction devices.
  18. Only good purpose of drones is to mate a queen. By fall all drones should be driven from the hive and die. The drones also die after mating. Leave it to the women to throw the men away after their needs are met.
  19. You can buy compatible paper for $3 a roll from Frantz. A lot cheaper than any spin on. I think I'll stick with the Frantz for a while longer.
  20. My 01 has 199,100 miles on original 47RE. But a new torque converter at 150,000
  21. You can order the factory paper for $3 a roll or less. Seems like a good solution compared to cost of the spin on's. Current stock of TP under the bathroom sink Scott is 4.2", pleanty of diameter and 1.6" tube diameter. Sounds about right for the one supplied tube sleeve. The toilet paper dimension change is no different than any of the food changes in product size. Perceived value compares to what we're used to. Price doesn't go up but less product for the same price. Ergo potato chips, coffee, ice cream. Everything is smaller than it used to be. How much money is saved on .10" increase in tube size? A few bucks with millions of units sold.
  22. Does the length of the paper really matter? Fit it tight into the cover and make sure the hole fits snug and go. Only adaption I can see is the hole and reel enough off to fit the cover. I just checked mine and its flow is like an old man...slow and weak. That tells me that the filter is getting plugged and working. I just need to figure out some kind of bib system to catch the spillage when changing paper.
  23. Can you get cheaper amsoil filters anywhere?
  24. Yes, truck was parked and not running. Teach that little car to not pick on a big boy!
