  1. I dont know how far the bank is,mine takes such a long time to clear.Yes lights on the dash suck.Something funny, i now put my seatbelt on just to have no lights on my dash and it feels good.
  2. My abs light didnt go out until i put 150 miles on.Dont sweat the 0500 thats a standard with these trucks.I replaced the speed sensor and i still get them. You could spin on gravel and set it off. Everyone told me that after replacing abs system the light will go out after 600 ft of driving. Not my truck.Give it a wile, i am sure you are fine if you completed the job(pluging them in)
  3. Never seen this.I wouldnt think something like that would happen in the usa in the 70's.In our house we had 1776/ /1976 stuff all over.
  4. most get 1 inch longer arms with a lifted truck.I will have to measure to see if these are longer. It has been over 5 years so i cant remember if they are.It was a skyjacker 2.5 lift with springs. To me it looks like the tire is off.My track bar is shot as well.If i take a plumb bob the front end is shifted or so it seems.I want to check it from the frame. This truck is a hand full to drive. The steering wheel is no longer centered and it clunks when in reverse and hitting the brakes.I had it alined a few years ago when i bought new tires.I have new tires again and the pass side is starting to get some run off.I really want to go over all of it and start fresh.
  5. Not a big difference. My squeal at shut down stoped. Not to get off the subject but a big difference for me with the smooth engine sound is when i started using 2 stroke oil .I put one quart in with a fill up.
  6. When mine went bad, it made a kinda belt squeal when i shut it down. The rubber was rotted.I replaced it with a fluid damper no more squeal. The ouch part was the 415.00.
  7. Do you use your tilt wheel often? There is a wire in there that gets frail from the tilt being used.It has happened to many.
  8. Check the tabs in the obd.Could be bent or have crud jamed in there.
  9. When i did mine i turned it to aline the splines and it went home.Is something blocking it?The dust cover also acts as a spacer.Do you have that in there?
  10. The uppers are factory and shot. The lowers are rusty and i dont want to rebuild them, they seem to short. It looks as if the tire is to the rear of the fender. If you want when i replace them i will sell em to you.
  11. I have a 2.5 lift with longer springs. My skyjacker control arms are played out.Who sells good strong arms?
  12. One of the places i called told me i need a special dually adaptor, they didnt sell it and refered me to another store for it.May be i should check again.
  13. Them are nice but will not work on my dually.A wile back i looked into them but i need some kind of adaptor.
  14. our local shop has a 100% exchange machine for the tranny fluid.I just pull my pan change the filter.I have in the past used my drain plug and after 100 miles drain it again and refill. But that cost almost as much as the shop does for 100% exchange.I use maxlife and it is big bucks for a case plus i have a mag pan.Every time i drop my pan i use a case
  15. So do you have wires under your carpet with a plug?
  16. Any time.I do also have a white box under the center seat that links the heat for both seats.
  17. I dont know how to transfer the diaagram to this site. You can download the manual from this site, that may help.
  18. --- Update to the previous post... That plug comes from under the carpet to the seat.Let me look at a wire diagram.
  19. I will go outside and take some notes for you give me 5 min's --- Update to the previous post...
  20. It could be it has a heater and lumbar air bag.Mine does.Do you want me to look at my plug?
  21. Is that 3rd gen a weld on or bolt on for the 2nd gen? I need one and dont know what to get. Thanks for this thread.
  22. Maybe ask all the parts stores like i did.You will here "made in china" more than you would think.
  23. To the op.I spoke with them over the phone. The guy at hbw told me the biggest problem is that the installers have to put the bearing nut to factory spec's.Some dont.Thats why they fail.I have them with a few thousand miles on them.A guy i know has 25k on them no problem.I paid 99.00 or so.Way better than napa 340.00.If i get 100k out of them it is well worth it.Heck my factorys only lasted 170k. Use alot of this and use it everywhere.http://www.google.com/products/catalog?hl=en&sugexp=gsqvhc&xhr=t&q=anti+seize&cp=9&wrapid=tljp1301661513234016&um=1&ie=UTF-8&cid=9360090541301058963&sa=X&ei=T8eVTeDNN434gAfa9rHJCA&sqi=2&ved=0CCoQ8wIwAw# Or the silver stuff works.
