bigger fuel tubes
I know you have a stick but the guys with autos and 93 lines and tubes sometimes have the truck die at idle in gear. The engine will not make more hp with 93 tubes and or lines.You can get a lope to the idle.I had a hrvp and when it would get over 70* outside it would lope.I think the 93's are race only.I am sure some drive them on the street.Heck some even remove the filter in the tubes to get more fuel

Overhead console problem?
The test is for the microprocessor.It is in the service manual.Mine passed.Maybe i will give it a Ike turner love tap.With key off hold both sides at the same time,turn key on until all the lughts come on then let go.It will say pass or fail or ccd.

Overhead console problem?
Somehow i lost the N in north.The temp had this : before the temp.What gives? I did the test to it and it says pass on the screen.What do you guys think is the problem. --- Update to the previous post... Let me try a better picture.

Suggested Upgrades for Diesels
I am not saying anything about power/hp.As the op stated on the list turbo was last and fuel/injectors/Fuel/with programmer came first.Thats cool to me it is a nice list.I just think more air in and out with a turbo should come before that.My truck came with 40 over injectors and a edge box and a cooked head.I added everything else,fresh head ,turbo.etc. EDIT, my point is your entire truck needs to work together.Building a truck in steps is how almost all of us do it.Egt's kill .A good turbo can keep them down.Also keep in mind my truck was pounded on.I mean what i have done to it is just murder, but I know when to let off.

The turbo should be before injectors.Why add fuel and heat if you cant clean it up?By then you could of trashed a good head with heat cracks on the exhaust seats.The yahoo that had my truck before me did your list.He never did the last step (turbo)He added so much heat it killed the head.I shipped the head off to get tested and it had 11 cracks around one seat alone.About 20 in all.When you add fuel with injectors then get a programmer to add more fuel it can be a bad thing.Now grant it he beat on it hard.Just saying my .02

47re fix
Sounds like the suncoast fix but without cutting the wire and regrounding it.It goes like this.That same wire goes to the apps.You cut it ground both ends to the battery.Before i replaced my harness.3 years ago my tranny was searching for the gear and the suncoast fix works too.I did it.

Ultrasonic Pest Control
If you want to see if yours still work or test new ones,bring your dog near by and turn them on.I tested mine and with it off my dog was normal.Pluged it in and her ears were twichen and she did the head thing.

Hey man dont leave!! You can still help others.You can also tell us what a new truck smells like.Mine reeks of diesel inside.I am happy for you.Toyota has a good race team.When the wife isnt looking you can get a nice cold airbox,Headers if it dont allready have them(some do from the factory)etc.Have a good one.Check in once in a wile bud.

Weston is one smart dude.He is the only guy i know that can talk about injectors for an hour on the phone.He built mine and they rock.He had some cool plans for some new microblind or something nozzles dont know what happened with that plan.He is a big player in the diesel world that is for sure.

The money part is a bummer .I do like working on it.I dont have much in labor cost i did almost everything myself.I am getting to know my truck vary well.It still is a blast to own and drive.

December 09 to dec 10 Two vp pumps.(one bad new pump)Ecm and pcm wire harness.New ecm.Fass pump(150) just the pump.Left front ball joints.(upper and lower)Left front u joint.Left front rotor.Left front wheel bearing.Left front caliper/pads.Right front ball joints.(upper and lower)Right front u joint.Right front rotor.Right front wheel bearings.Right front caliper/pads.Rear left rotor/caliper/pads.Rear right rotor/caliper/pads.Thermostat.Waterpump.I think that i am missing something the list seems small :banghead:I will update if i remember something.

Odd Readings
Is your tank 100% factory?Do you have a hellmenns sump?Doyou have a home made sump at the bottom of the tank? How many miles on the factory fuel sending unit?Does that happen when you fill the tank?

Cummins thermostats
It was not on recirculate.Just the floor setting.I just dont get it.Heater core is hot under glove box.Both pipes.I am missing something here.
