I have never used that on the front cover.The bummer part with 'right stuff' is the cost.I dont know how the other stuff would work.I think the trick is the set up time.I let all my rtv/rs set up a little before i install the part.I have used rtv on my rear diff cover with no leaks.

First question=The sending unit is going.Mine said 1/4 tank and i ran out.You dont have to get the hole thing.They sell just what you need.Thats my guess.Second= sounds like a boost leak.Did you remove the elbo off the turbo when you replaced the boots?

There is a place in wisconsin called Black river falls. It goes in the woods.You can ride all day and never cross the same path.We started in Milston then went up to BRF on one side of the trail.Than back on the other side.That was fun.You would like it i am sure.

There is a overflow valve on the vp maybe you have a bad one? there cheap and easy to replace.You may have a bad pump.I just had a bad pump.Mine was junk and it was a fresh rebuild.They sent me another but it still was a drag.I hate to bad mouth places so i wont,But i know a place i will never give my money to any more.- ohhh nooooo!!! my VP44....WHYYYYYY!!!
P pump can be a better way to go if you plan to keep it a vary long time.And do the work your self.You can get a vp44 from 950 shipped to 2100 + shipping.S.o. pumps really are the way to go.Guys have recorded 600+hp with them.The hotrod pumps is not worth the money.I have had both.I like the s.o.- My transmission gave out

Welcome.Sorry to here about what happened.Rebuilt vp's are 1000.00 or more.2 to 4.5 hrs to install.Not to sure on the factory lift pump.That bill isnt real high.It may have come as a shock to you and that i understand.If it was me i would ask for more info on the vp44 and the warranty on it. The good news is you came to one of the best places for info on the net.Do you like to get your hands dirty?You diddnt say your age.Some just dont like to work on trucks.Some just cant because of health reasons.Reguardless this site can help you figure problems out and give you a guess on repair costs,so if you dont or cant work on your diesel this site still can help you out. The first thing i would do is put a rubber hose on the factory breather and make sure it is down under the engine.Or do the M1973M vent thing.Then clean up the engine and go from there.Yes that hose can make a big mess.- Hot vp44
Chip thinks he has an answer.Call him.He will tell you.The trick is in the lift pump, as in keeping it running on a timer.He did the remote computer thing and had a problem with rf interference.Maybe he is finished with the r&d.He had a few test trucks going.- injectors
Last year i had 7x12 injectors made for my truck.I had bad fuel and it killed 5 of 6. I am looking into baldwin water/fuel pre lift pump add on. Some guy here did a nice wright up.If someone here remembers it ,repost it. It is good info.Fass and airdog lift pumps are way better than factory but when gobs of water enter bad things happen.My filters were replaced a few weeks before my bad fuel problem.I guess the filter let some get passed.Some filter 98%. --- Update to the previous post... I had some injection pump problems and was told to remove it all,then test it. In fact i had to send my edge comp box back.They fixed it free. --- Update to the previous post... I think Mopar hit the nail on post #9.- Very weird problem
Just a question.When you disconnected the edge did you unplug the signal wires? I think mine (01) has 3 wires that comes out of the factory dodge harness.So there should be 3 places to remove:On the injection pump,boost/map,and signal.Thats what i have to do to completly remove the edge.Is your 02 the same? Now i dont know how much of a difference it would make if you diddnt unplug the signal wires....just trying to help.- Hello everyone, Moparman love the site!
