  1. It is called opie's coolant bypass kit.No cooled turbo.Your correct it goes on the head between 5&6 then runs to a manual valve.When the pressure gets high it runs coolant through it.I use to be big into dragracing with my truck.Not so much now.Money is hard to come by these days.

I have some extra exhaust tube and i like to weld.If you guys want i will make them.You can have them free.You will have to pay shipping.Just let me know.I can make 3 or 4 of them,maybe more.I can build them however you want as far as mounting.Just let me know.This is ONLY for people on THIS site.You guys help me out and it is my way of saying thank you.I can take orders now and start building them first thing in march.

I run arp's No trouble so far.I trust the arp name.However we must keep in mind that the race world that helped build this name tear the engines down every run and if not every race.With this in mind arp has to keep up with the studs in r&d.I dont think they just turn there back because they now have the "gold key to the crapper". As far as running factory bolts to 50 or 100 lbs.Sure why not.Some torque them in 5 lb increments up to 135 lbs.Not me!!To me the stress on that sounds like trouble.I always here of people pushing the limit to get new information or to get around buying the perfect part for the intended job.
  4. I dont have a favorite.I like napa for some stuff. Autozone has a deal when you spend $25.00 4 or 5 times you get $20.00 off.Napa has over priced almost everything.Cummins 15/40 oil is crazy 15.00.Autozone 9.99.I like buy right because i know the owner and he sells parts to me at jobber prices.I will admit napa has smarter people working vs autozone.
  5. I think if i power up the window it will act like a clamp.?Napa has some kind of 3m two part.I wonder if i should hold off until spring so it dont freeze.I never had this problem so i dont know what to buy.

  8. I have to add the hushpower is a race proven muffler and not loud when you run it under the truck.My 7 in stacks behind the cab dont help to quiet it at all.

  11. Just injectors, two full sets a year apart or so.And parts for injectors.I trust Chris and Weston.All my dealings were over the phone.The service is real good,quick to ship.This is the off season fore some so it may take longer to build them.They just moved into a new shop so i was told.
  12. When i was in need i looked around and all of them i checked out were china,Napa etc.All the big name stores.I am sure if i looked around i could of found usa made.But 650.00 vs 200 it was a no brainer for me,plus it is not a hard job to do.
  13. Lots of them are china.I know of 2 people with more than 25k on the cheap ones.For 100 bucks to me it is worth if i get 60 to 100k out of them.

Chris at SDX built my rv's.Weston built my custom 7x12's both work vary well.Three nice things about these guys, the price,super good people, and there knowledge.I have had 4 different injectors in my truck over the years.These are my "go to guys" for injectors.Edge jammers dont seem to be good,or last long others share this thinking.From what i hear the dpp are a good injector.I have never tryed them.
  15. My old fass was loud like that video.They changed something because my 150 pump is super quiet.In fact i wasent sure i hooked it up right.I was in my buddys shop (echo chamber)It is smooth butter.It is 1 year old. Nice dually.
  16. I know you said you checked all the grounds but then you said they opened the pcm.Did they put the pcm ground strap back on?

  18. Thats how i understand it.I think the pcm knows just the same way my 01 does.Ecm/pcm, apps and sensors input. I am sure in a small way with different gears or tire size the sensor input would be different.With a small change 355 to 411 gears (600 rpm difference)I think it would be a small change if any.Just an example,now if you put 33 or 35 inch tires on and then 355 to 411 that would make it almost back to stock thinking in the computers.So therefore no change at all in tm or the way the computer reads the sensors.

I went with greaseable just because i am not planning on doing hard 4wd drag racing for a wile.Just grease them often and wipe off the zerk before you shoot them with grease.Yes they are weaker.If you dont do any boosted 4wd runs you should be fine.Oh yes i almost forgot thats the brand i am running also.It is a good joint.
  23. You could of left it.You have a program in the ecm to do that.Mine just goes to 1175 after a bit.Iirc there is 2 programs the first is sorta cold 1175 and the other is way cold 3 cylinder idle.So it sounds normal.
  24. Vary well said! If every one in that room had a gun he would of poped off one maybe two rounds.So far 29 states have a c&c laws.I hope more are to come soon.
  25. With stock injectors 5000 to 7000.With big injectors washing down cylinders 3000 to 5000.Sorry i still go from 3000 to 4000 max.I just have a hard time trusting it over 4000.Maybe i should get blackstone to test it at 4k?
