This has never made sense to me.... seems like 50% would make it less weighted. Damn programmers

Perplexing....
I sure hope Colorado gets some snow this year. Snowmobiling has been pathetic. Coldest I've been in is -34F. It was funny because my dad's old 12v fired right up without an issue. The 2 polaris snowmobiles on the other hand refused to fire (2 ski-doo sleds started fine.) It took using a butane torch on the cylinder walls to get em fired up.

You're missing the most crucial variable.... cruise timing advance. I'm not seeing it here. You're also missing the timing reduct.

Prayers Please for MoparMom
Good to hear she's doing okay. I can't imagine the pain of being stuck in a room for over a month.... sounds like she's a fighter though!

Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
Got better videos today. Had the truck at 35mph in 4th gear (1450-1500rpm) and used the brake to hold it there. This was just to show the low end smoke caused by big injectors and stock tuning. First is stock, 2nd is quad on level 2. I like the sound of my exhaust.... And from what I can tell, it took the big turbo about 1/2 a second longer to spool. If I were to bump the fueling just a tad on the quad I'm sure it would have spooled just as fast.

Yep, this does work. After you follow all of the steps in Nick's post, this is how I do it and it works 99% of the time. Leave the box unplugged. Click on the downloaded tune. That should open up the flasher where you have the option to select "Get information from module" or "update module." Then plug your quad into the computer. Then click "Get information from module." It should find the module and fill in all the little blanks with info. Then click "update module" and it should start flashing the box. Every now and then it doesn't work, but I just close out of the program and re-open it. It'll usually work that second time. The sound you're hearing I think is normal. Mine does that as well when the box is plugged in. I just turn my sound off when flashing.

Okay, don't judge my amateur video skills.... Also you can thank the Colorado roads for the horrible bouncing.

Injectors
-__- Sorry to hear this is turning into a nightmare for you. Welcome to my world.... something is always angry on my truck. Sometimes it runs with a tick, sometimes it doesn't, always pouring smoke when it's cold, yada yada yada. Hopefully you'll be fixed up soon!

Changing to P or VE
For a "stockish" truck you can't beat the vp44. Variable timing, tuning on the fly, better mileage, etc. If you're wanting to go over 650hp then you should look into a Ppump. I honestly don't know why anyone would put a VE pump on, but I've been surprised before. If you have a good vp44, good fuel pressure (15+psi at all times), good fuel, and a good alternator your vp44 should give you many years and at least a couple hundred thousand miles of reliable service.

I guess that makes sense. My intercooler is much bigger than the stock one. I was messing around last night and blew the intake horn boot off at 65psi. Pulled over and felt the intercooler. The inlet was so hot you couldn't keep your hand on it (IR gun got stolen so I don't have actual temps) but the outlet side was literally cold. It was 60* out and I wouldn't be surprised if the outlet was 65 tops. Thus it's not allowing a big enough heat transfer through the radiator. Guess it's something I'll just have to live with. As for pre-turbo, I guess I could build a shield to make the filter suck more from the fender instead of the hot air that comes through the intercooler and radiator.

That'll definitely show if the timing reduction works! The theory is there, but this will put the proof behind it if it works. BTW I bet your truck hates you....

Welcome to the forum!! Always glad to welcome some new members. Holy smokes! Slow down to 55 and you'll get up into the 25+ easily! I need to get my tires aired up...I think it's taking my mileage down

I went from a 75/83/1.1 to a 75/96/1.32 I'll get some data off of mine. I don't think I'm getting the same results you are.

Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
So... back on track. With the quad on lvl 3 with can-bus at 110% I'm able to keep egts at 1,100*. Should be right around 500hp, and I'm not sure exactly how much fueling it was getting but the data log was showing a 4095 for can-bus. Should mean it's maxed right @Me78569?

@Mopar1973Man I do plan to move my sensor to the passenger side soon enough to see if it's hotter not being in the Fast cooler. Hooking a pump up to one of these transmissions would be a piece of cake. Just need the pump, a cooler, and some fab skills. Run a switch in the cab to turn the pump on when the trans starts to heat up. You could also run an inline filter to take out the contaminants. @AH64ID Thanks for the reply. Always like to hear your insight on oil related ideas. Got the big turbo in today. What a difference! Spool of the small turbo and overall low end grunt haven't changed much, if any at all. What I do notice is the primary comes in later and smoother instead of a WHAM of power, you feel it start to pull then gets stronger and stronger as you pour it more fuel. I'm sure drive pressure is down a bunch with this freer flowing housing as well. Doing some testing driving home, I spiked boost at 72psi before the gate could open and settle the pressure back down to 60 or so. EGTs on the big end have come down a bunch... like 200-250 degrees. Took the truck to a 9 mile 6% grade to see how it was in the hills. At 25psi egts were right around 850 and holding steady. If anyone knows why my coolant likes to climb to 197+ with 850* egts I'm all ears... Then the POS dying fan clutch kicks on.... ugh. Anyway, I'm very pleased with the way it's running now. Don't get me wrong, the other turbo would be excellent for smaller injectors & towing, but it didn't work well for all out power.

Totally off topic again haha but my brother's 05 has the 5600 and if you put your palm flat on the top of the shift knob and rotate it'll rotate the pattern. No other way to move it!

Two stroke oil
#1 no, never. #2. @Me78569 might be able to help with that. I don't have emissions where my truck is registered, so I'm no help.

This is how @Me78569. Goes in the top, oozes out the filter.... maybe lmao IDK. I've been chatting with them on FB. Also, I bought something today.... Couldn't pass it up. Got a SMOKIN deal, and I'll be putting it on tomorrow.

Teardown and Rebuild
Yeah it does! Interesting, if you look at the picture, the plate actually goes toward the transmission and the oil goes in through the lip, then comes out the hole in the filter. How good is it without a pump??? Who knows. I'd like to hear what @AH64ID thinks though. He's very knowledgeable on the subject of filters and oil. I wonder what holds the filter on.....

Two stroke oil
For your first tank (if you've never used 2 stroke before) put in 32oz, then fill the truck completely full. The next time you fill up, just add as many oz of 2 stroke as you put in. ex. You've used 2 stroke before: Fill the truck full and take note of the # of gallons. Once it's full, add the 2 stroke. Pour in as many oz of 2 stroke as you put in gallons of fuel.

Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
For those who would like to use a phone to control the quad, but don't want to use their cell phone, pick one of these up http://www.ebay.com/itm/Motorola-XT912M-Droid-Razr-Maxx-Verizon-16GB-Android-8MP-Camera-Smartphone-/381566967065?hash=item58d729dd19:g:OSYAAOSwoudW4tDV#viTabs_0 40 bucks with no service plan. I had that phone for 2 years and it never gave me trouble. Used it for another 6 months with the quad and didn't have issues. @Me78569 do you know if the apple V2 is working yet?

How do I manually install The Quadzilla Driver / Load the Quadzilla V2 tune on Windows 10 / 8 / 7
Yeah; I'm not sure why, but I rarely turn it completely off anyway. Usually sleep mode so not a big deal. I think you're right. I'll probably download the one you posted in the other thread and load it so I make sure I have the same thing as everyone else. I doubt we'll find any major bugs, but if I do I'll let you know.
