Thinking seriously about twins
I would think 4.10s would make it spool slower....

Mileage report - 19.56mpg with 200 miles on the tank. Probably 25% city driving and the rest on the highway. Highway driving was mostly above 75mph with 50 miles or so at 85. I'm going to try and get up to 20 by slowing down a bit haha.

That all depends on YOU haha. Start out with your current tune and increase as you see fit while remaining smoke free or at a light haze. If you have a light foot you can ramp up faster. If you have a lead foot you'll have to ramp up slower. Your spool will likely remain close to the same as just the HX.

Injectors
Good to hear it quit loping. DAP (and everyone) should know you can't just throw a nozzle on a pop style injector and expect things to work properly. Hopefully she keeps ticking right! I've learned you have to get a bit stern with companies to make them help you.

6.7 ISB Surging issue with H&S Mini Max
That's a LOT of money to find out the cause was lack of fuel.... I would think he could see the rail pressure on the screen and tell that it was lacking. Hard lesson learned! Don't throw parts; Always diagnose.

Thinking seriously about twins
Yes and no.... I'm always playing with parts on my twins, but my brother has only replaced 1 O ring in the 2 years he's had twins. If you keep boost below 50 the springs should be fine. Anything more and I would put a set of springs in. Studs aren't completely necessary..... I ran without them for over a year at 500hp with no issues. @CSM has gone without them for a while I think and has had no issues. Peace of mind is nice though!

Neither android nor apple products have that ability. That would be up to @Quadzilla Power power to decide if they want to develop that.

You can thank @Me78569 as he put the map together. Just took a few min to dig it up. Looks like that guy doesn't have a smarty though.... only red dots have the smarty.

Thinking seriously about twins
Do you know how much power your stage 3 trans will hold? That would be really good to know. Mind throwing up a pic of the trailer? I bet it weighs more than 3,500! Anyway, a cheaper route would be something like a single 62 that you could tow around 375hp with and not have to worry about egts. If you feel you need more than that though, twins is probably a better option. Now, whether or not you NEED twins... that answer is probably no. You could run a single that will likely do everything you need. Twins are really fun though... Longevity should not be an issue with the power levels you're looking at. More power adds up to more wear, but it's not like you're going to wear the cylinders out in 50K miles. Pros are tons of air and not having to worry about egts when you have it matted. My "500hp" tune won't go over 1200 on the egts when I hold it to the floor. That's pretty nice! Cons well you have 2 turbos. You can always run into little issues like the drain lines leaking, supply lines leaking, gaskets going bad etc. That's the same as a single though, just twice the chance of it happening. As for your list: No special HG needed. You don't need crazy stiff springs. You don't have to touch the tappets. Intercooler should be fine under 60psi. You'll never make 600hp with "150's" so no worries there. The other list: Yes you will need some larger injectors, but 150's should be fine especially with the edge. Definitely going to need a set of studs. You will need aftermarket springs, but I would recommend the ones I got from DAP. They're 104# high lift springs (made to not bind) The hx35 would be fine for the secondary turbo, you just have to buy a kit made to use that turbo. You could pair it with a 72 or a 75. The tricky part is selecting which size exhaust wheel and exhaust housing will benefit you the most. Last, don't wait a couple days to check back! You have to stay engaged to keep these threads alive!

I would assume it does to run android apps. I know the ones I posted above are not, so not sure if they would even work. Personally I wouldn't run the quad through my stereo, but that's just preference.

I don't think a flip-up would be good as it blocks the two vents. There is however a flip down that I've been eyeing for some time now.... I would assume the stereo has to connect to wifi then download the app, but I'm not certain. I don't think you can link a phone to the quad, then like the stereo to your phone and have it work that way.

I'd give CPP a call. Will they help you out? Unlikely, but it's worth a shot. I'd tell them everything you have said here.

Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
Lol I have a smooth stream of smoke at idle so my mpg numbers will never be any more than the low 20s at best. I'm a happy camper with 20mpg though! At the end of the day it's all about what you want. I want as much power as possible, decent mpgs, and be able to tow anything without melting the engine apart. Your goals are towing, excellent mpgs and enough power to have fun. The great thing about the quad is it'll accommodate both of us no matter what we want!

Quadzilla V2 Custom Tunes
I've got 285's, which are 11.2205" wide. 1.96853" wider than 235's My sidewall height is 199.5mm or 32.708" from top to bottom. (285/70/17) Yours are 31.725, assuming you have 16's. Aren't the stockers 265/70/17? Can't for the life of me remember.

Every now and then I have a decent idea! Glad my name is stuck somewhere haha. Got the tune made. If it's pretty clean I'll post it up. Those are right at 2" narrower than the tires I have. Wider tires do help keep the rubber stuck on the pavement. I don't break the tires loose often with 200+ more hp. Had to go with taller tires on mine to get the revs down. Early G56 OD ratio isn't the best IMO.

pizza cutter life I'm going to make a tune tonight up to 140% and see if I can make it smoke free. @Me78569 your wish is my command.

Vp44 going out!!!!!!!!
My first pump locked up with no warning... like stopped the engine very quickly from 2800rpm. 2nd pump lasted 5 miles, then threw a code p0216 - injection pump timing failure. It blew white smoke and wouldn't go over 30mph. 3rd pump blew white smoke all over and never cleared up - no code either. Do me a favor and see if your tank is pressurized. Pop the cap loose and stuff a rag around it to keep debris out. Then drive around with it stopping and shutting the engine off multiple times. See if this clears up the smoke issue.....

Sounds just like when my timing piston got stuck....Do you have warranty on the pump?

Teardown and Rebuild
Well, my brother wanted to thank me for tuning his truck and get me an early Christmas present.... So this guy should be here this weekend. Maybe I can go over 50% throttle with the tuner up

Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
Wait.... you mean I have to use this $80,000 degree? So, to put this in the simplest terms that I can, it all has to do with peak timing and how fast it reaches that peak timing. The picture I attached demonstrates timing with reference to boost. These numbers are fictional as I'm sure quad has their own equation.... it could be based on rpm and boost, but it doesn't matter for this example. Now to explain:The slope of the graph is basically how fast timing ramps up with reference to the boost. As you can see, 12* has the 2nd steepest slope, so anytime you put 12* in your timing is going to ramp up very quickly. You then use the timing % to determine your peak timing. In the example I used 50%. So 50% of 12* is 6*. As shown in the graph, the timing will still ramp up at the same rate as 12* it just cuts off and flatlines when it hits 6*. This can be done for 15*. 15*x0.6666 = 10* You can see that in the example too.

So it uses the linear ramp of 12* but caps it at 6, making it much more aggressive. Got it, and it makes perfect sense.
