Edge comp, mild injectors, fuel mileage
7 hole. The size is up to you though. I'd keep them fairly small if you want to keep things clean and cool.

Talk to @gh0stman either here or on CF. He did this exact swap and can tell you what you NEED. I don't think all of the information you're getting here is correct.

Edge comp, mild injectors, fuel mileage
You can try it, but it comes more down to driving style than edge settings. The edge just squeezes the last little bit of mileage out. As for injectors, RV275's are good. DAP also makes quality injectors.

Teardown and Rebuild
I've never used distilled water, and I've never had a problem. Maybe Penrose just has really clean water. On a side note I filled up after 2 days of driving to work (100 miles per day). I drove it as gently as I could and had the cruise set dead on at 65. 22.4mpg

Deleted? Tuned? Transmission work done? Body straight? Lots of factors come into play

Transmission Cooler
Looks like a normal exhaust clamp and some aluminum.

Manual Trans Conversion - Seeking Advice/Tips/Issues/etc
Both kits look good! They are expensive though. IF you have the money I would go with the kit. That way you've got new parts in there. It would probably be cheaper to piece together a kit, but you may miss something and end up having to wait on parts.

Honda ATV
I would ASSUME they should both have the ball on the end. Does the engine have tappets (excuse my ignorance on the subject) If it does, the ball may be stuck in a tappet.

Lost another alternator...
Perfect! The only thing I didn't hear in the video was the acceptable level of AC noise.

Teardown and Rebuild
I'm going to go with @Mopar1973Man on this one. I want to get the orange stuff out and his method seems to be the best way. I've got a new thermostat and new water pump. Right now I think my fan clutch is shot because it keeps coming on when the truck isn't overheating. @195 deg my fan is in full lock up. Also, I drove the truck to the fuel station tonight (4.5 miles) and the engine started at 100deg. The fan was locked up for 1/2 a mile or so until it finally let go. When I got there the engine was up to 179deg. Not even close to warm enough for the T stat to open. After 4-5min of sitting, I got in it to head home the fan was in full lockup again and took 1/2 mile to disengage.

Lost another alternator...
Mike made a video long ago. It doesn't show the whole process, but most of it.

Transmission Cooler
My DP is 4" but it's SUPER short. Like comes off the primary turbo, down, has 3" straight and is cut off. The filter.... spill the beans! It won't go on the Tcase... not sure where it'd go on it.

Teardown and Rebuild
Good info on the coolant guys. It's not packed so tight it's squishing out the seals. I just wanted to make sure I put enough in there it would actually get into the bearings. 1 or 2 pumps is just going to sit on the tone ring.

Teardown and Rebuild
Good read! From what I can find we need a HOAT (Hybrid Organic Acid Technology). I don't think the Dex meets that spec, so I'll likely be dumping it this weekend. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I'm going to go with the Zerex G-05 for the aluminum protection, and it's readily available from Napa stores.

Teardown and Rebuild
I think the grease is what dries out first. Then it starts to surface fatigue the rollers and races. As long as there's a plentiful amount of grease in the bearing there should always be a thin boundary layer between the rollers and races. As for not being worth the work.... it took me less than 20 min for each side. Doing some research now...... Love it!

Teardown and Rebuild
Same place the air would go when it heats up... I'd assume out the seals. I don't think they're solid but there's 20-25 pumps in it. No idea about the old stuff. As long as there's fresh grease in there they'll last longer than without

Teardown and Rebuild
Another 50 miles and the pan is completely dry. Also I have no ABS codes. If the grease I pumped in was going to cause a code, it would have done so by now. I'll keep pumping them with grease as they aren't cheap!

Injector Rattle/Pinging/Panging
I suppose it could, but I've never heard of that symptom. Usually it's just a knock, not a ping.

Transmission Cooler
Gents, I think I am going to pick up a set of Fast coolers from Genos Garage. Since they come in sets of two would anyone be interested in buying the other one? I don't think I can fit the passenger side with the 5" exhaust. I just want the pre-tapped hole for the temp sensor, and some extra cooling. If no one wants one it's going up for sale on the classifieds here and on CF. I'd be willing to pay more than half since I would be getting the one that's tapped. @Mopar1973Man if you're interested PM me and we can work an even lower price since you keep this place running! https://www.genosgarage.com/product/fc-6-spd-dg/transmission-coolers

I wonder why it burned up the diodes so fast.

Pitman Arm
As long as there is zero movement on the drag link ball joint I wouldn't worry about it.
