  1. I have never heard of a four hole injector.........
  2. No, but I have been to the Bong Memorial. Actually, the real name is the Richard I Bong War Memorial and it is in Superior, Wisconsin. http://www.bvhcenter.org/History.html
  3. That sounds a lot like the rear axle is moving around. I had a car do that to me and everybody thought I was nuts until it happened to my brother. Then it was determined that the frame was rusted out and allowing the rear axle to shift. That was pretty much the end of that car.....
  4. My steering wheel was off by about 45* (yep real crooked) and one shop I took it to gave up! I did like you did Bill. it took me about 15 minutes to straighten in my gravel driveway....... I wish I could find a shop close to me that knew how to align these trucks.
  5. Those tires on the rear seem quite close together. Are they as close as they look? You don't want to have a load on and have the tires start "kissing". That causes a boom that would make you get a grip on your seat that won't want to let go! Other than that, good looking tires!
  6. I am running a triple disk and a stock flex plate with a stock in put. I have over 100,000 miles on with out any problems and am at 365+ HP and 833 TQ and have been for a long time.
  7. Too bad it was a fatality, but I really feel for the truck driver. He was in the correct spot (on his half of the road) and I am willing to bet that there was a complete inspection of his license and of the semi. That really frustrates me. Someone else screws up and hurts or kills someone and the first thing is the truck driver HAS to be guilty of something until he is proven innocent.
  8. Last time I was there I tried to get a hold of Diesel4life, but he went and threw his phone in Lake Erie. Maybe I shouldn't tell him I am going to be close to him?
  9. If you want quality starter parts go here: http://www.fostertruck.com/ They are reasonably priced too.
  10. Oh yea, I am FINALLY getting to go play for a couple of days!! Gonna take the fiver and boat to a place about 1 1/2 hours from here!!
  11. Evidently you didn't see the "Dinner Date"?
  12. The '98 12V came with the Club Cab in early MY '98 and the Quad Cab was mid-early MY '98 and mid year was the switch over to the 24V.
  13. I guarentee you I will not be at any pull that weekend! I have not seen my nephew in about 15 years!
  14. The only problem with filling the hub up completely with grease is that it will push some grease out of the seal when it warms up some. If you pack the bearings by hand you shouldn't need to put any in the hub.
  15. Is that an Aussie unit? Everybody is getting out on the wrong side........
  16. I am going to be in NE Ohio the middle of July (the 19th is a party for my nephew's retirement from the Air Force). Anybody want to have a get together of some sort?
  17. Just put of curiosity, are you taking an aspirin a day? Ever since I started that it takes a lot longer for the blood to quit. Anyhow, CONGRATS on getting the bearing seated!! WOO HOOO!! That means you are winning!
  18. By the time you are done you would probably be better off getting a manual truck and making it into what you want. If you really want to do the swap you should have the donor truck next to the recipient so all the parts and things are available.
  19. Looks like maybe, just MAYBE I will get to go play on Monday for a week or so......... It's about time.
  20. Well, if you had a translator the cost of it just may be in the video. On another note, I wonder how many times she scraped the side of the car turning into that driveway.....
  21. From what I understand (I am not a tranny mechanic) the best thing to do is put a good converter in an up the line pressure. You can upgrade the clutches and bands too.
  22. Yes. The 47RE is a not so great transmission IN STOCK FORM. You can make them very reliable and hold your power though!
  23. I doubt that it would be 'profitable' for you to invest in a compressor and everything related for compressing your own LNG even if you kept your truck for 20 years.
  24. I looked at the availability of the product. There is a natural gas liquification plant not very far from me and yet there is not any place to get LNG around. Propane is available just about anywhere in the country.
  25. If I had to pay full price I would not have done it. I only have about $200 invested in my system excluding my labor to clean and paint the tank, installation, etc. If you check the online classified ads in your area you can find DOT tanks occasionally.
