  1. That's me next to the wing at the Air Show last year........
  2. Glad you got going! That worked out fairly well.
  3. Exactly what happened to my transmission, only I didn't do it. 1300 miles later it puked all the fluid out going down the road.
  4. It's amazing how much more power you seem to gain with a decent torque converter!
  5. Glad to hear that it is functioning as expected! What do you think of the converter you have now?
  6. Man, there is nobody in the Maine 911 contact list either. Is there any way you could smash the end of the line to seal it up enough to at least get off the road?
  7. Use a high quality rattle can and you should be fine.
  8. I don't see any reason it won't work. You are not running at 4000 RPM when plowing with the 318, so it may be slightly slower but I don't think by much.
  9. When I got my tranny from Dave Goerends he told me it would hold a minimum of 600 HP. I have no clue if it would, but I do know that it has had about 400 HP coming out of it and absolutely no slippage.
  10. Believe it or not, mine has stock clutches in it!
  11. Thank you! That should help a few with transmission shift adjustment!
  12. Miles on you or the truck?? I know it is easy, just trying to get you to tell all what you did so that someone else may learn too.
  13. Turbo bark will be heard and seen in the boost guage, but not felt. Other than being extremely hard on the turbo, it won't hurt the engine.
  14. So did you tighten it up or make it looser?
  15. Probably not, but you may get lucky! I had a gasket weeping for about a year by the water pump before I changed the gasket. It never got any worse either.
  16. Minnesota is allowing up to B20..........
  17. If the ECM stays powered up you have the same thing happening.
  18. More than likely. I saw one that about 30 seconds after starting it would give a dead pedal and would not shut off. The Edge box was the cause. Now you know where those wires went to!
  19. Is it possible the APPS is actually giving intermittant signals fast enough that it feels like a miss?
  20. Just make sure the wires are seated in the plug properly when you are done.
  21. He must be taking his time.........
  22. While most of the time that is a true statement, I don't remember who it was, but a low fuel pressure caused his P0216. Once he got pressure back the code didn't come back. Maybe he just caught it? I dunno......
  23. Yes sir. It sounded terrible when it did too!
