  1. No slippage under power. Just while using the exhaust brake. And not every time as tho sometimes it's building enough line pressure but not other times. Not sure if it's the converter slipping or some other clutch. I do have an upgraded TC that's supposed to be good for 400hp and 800 torque. I only plan on using the 2nd lockup for exhaust brake purposes.
  2. I modified my valve body to allow 2nd gear TC lockup so now my exhaust brake works much more effectively. However I'm getting some clutch slippage in 2nd now. Not every time so I don't know what that means but I'm wondering what I can do to eliminate this.
  3. I recently put a Pacbrake on my truck. The controllor that comes with it controls tc lockup in 3rd and 4th. (D and OD) It can lock the tc in 1st and 2nd if you have a modified valve body. It works really good for me but I'd really like to get the 2nd gear lockup working and maybe a better lockup controllor since the stock one cuts out at I think 30 mph. As far as the lockup switch I have one but don't use it at all now since that's all taken care of by the ebrake controllor. Hope this helps.

  5. I just installed a Pacbrake on my truck and the warm up feature is not working. It actually worked for 30 seconds on first startup but not any more. Just wondering if anybody here had thoughts or experiences. I ran a wire from the activating solenoid to the battery so I could turn it on manually and that works but it back feeds power somewhere and turns the HVAC on when I energize it!
  6. I have the 'mystery' switch already but it only locks in 3 and 4. Ed where did you find valve body mod? My searching didn't yield any results for that.
  7. What are the options for achieving torque converter lock up in 1st and 2nd gear? I'm installing an exhaust brake and I'm thinking this might come in handy.

  9. Well mine wasn't rusted in cuz it somehow came out on its own! I pushed it back in not realizing it'd lock in and now I need it out to reassemble everything!
  10. It's a 2009 420FPA (I think I got the letters right!) Independant rear suspension and power steering.
  11. Does anybody here know how to remove the drive shafts on my atv? I can't find any locking pins or anything and they don't just pry off either.
  12. I have an auto as well and have exactly the same problems you have. Even with 'filling at the same pump etc'.
  13. My tank holds 134.5 L but my truck is reg cab long box so yours might be different.
  14. Hopefully you can get yours to work. Mine never did work for accurate mpg readings. At low idle it shows 0 gph so that throws the average off!
  15. I have mine mounted on the outside of the frame rail just behind the cab. No problem with road debris there.

  19. Thanks for the input guys. Tried belt dressing but it didn't seem to do the trick. We will have to get a new belt I guess.
  20. The ac belt on our ISX is slipping and I'm wondering if there's anything I can put on it to give it traction till we can get to a parts store.
  21. Rogan, is your scangauge accurate on fuel consuption? Mine never is. When idling it will show very low gph. Seems to only be sort of accurate under load so no good when driving empty. I mainly use mine to watch IAT and ECT.
