Perplexing....
Yep things are changing. How much due to us? I dunno, how much due to the sun? I dunno. I think we sometime loose grasp on the fact that the earth is anything but static. Regardless of what we do I have complete faith that the earth will "self right" itself. that might not be pleasent for us as humans, but I look through the past and see the temp charts from millions of years ago and where we are right now and realize that, weither we like it or not the earth changes. I think we need to explore getting way from fossel fuels as fast as possible as it has perks beyond "less green house gasses" Lets spend time and money investing in our own power source for our own property.. Get solar and wind up in a manner that builds the grid from each house in the area rather than large centeral poewr plants. That or more to pure nuclear power, it's clean , safe, efficent, and cheap. We could save the money we spend on coal / wind etc and use that to fire rockets of spent fuel into the sun hahah. regardless I hope things cool off. I was in santa cruz a few weeks ago and things seemed green, but then again I live in colorado so most htings seem green to me.

Crank no start
sounds like your ECM is no longer working. I would prob for power to the ecm to make sure it is getting power and ground at the plug.

the Iquad connects via wiretless to your phone, no wires like the old pv screen, but you can't use both together as they plug into the same plug. buy the Iquad, Plug it into your adr box under hte hood where the pv2 screen plugs in. download the iquad app on your phone then load the flash I have. and you are off to said race.

Yep. The PC screen doesn't have the code for the expanded tuning.

you need the iquad ( wifi for i devives and bluetooth for andriod) dongle, The update flash for the box and you are off to the races.

I have no idea what their plans are honestly. I am just a mule working on the stuff for our trucks.

Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
Hahaha no Tyler your complaining made it better and I appreciate everything you did and all the diesel you went through. Now it's time to enjoy the tuning since stuff is "stable" lololol.

I was trying to get Mike to try and see if the drone would follow him. I think some canyon driving videos would be sweet.....

Good news!Timing at cruise for late model trucks with electric Cruise control now works! glad that one is fixedOffidle boost is working now for late and early trucks, varified by multiple trucks at multiple altitudes!Low boost timing reduction with scaling is working! Should help with spooling a big single. user can pull between 0* and 5* timing down to 8* total timing. This is based on a map so timing will pull most at high tps 0 boost and none beyond 8psi boost.Cruise timing addition is working, user can define how much timing from 17* to 25* at cruise state ( 25* is too much timing, by hey who am I to say you cant?)Performance timing addition is working with scaling working ( unlike the old quad tunes) RPM limit is working! User can define where they want redline between 3200 rpm to 3700 rpm. ( no unlock code needed )Power Reduction is working. Use can define how much power, on a scale of 0-100%, they want when on lvl 1 of the tuner. %100 being stock power 0% being truck just dies. Anything under ~%25 wont likely drive. ANY truck should pass a tailpipe smoke test with this set to ~%50, but honestly there is no reason a healthy truck shouldn't pass if you tune your truck well.Pump tap low limit PSI is working, user can define what psi of boost they want wiretap to start fueling at. 0-25 psiPump low psi %. Allows the user to define how much wiretap they want below "pump tap low limit psi" setting. User can set it from 0% to %100. Data logging is working ( not my doing, good job Quadzilla very useful feature), with Export to Excel. the quad will show you all sensors, including Canbus fueling, and timing. You can also data log the ECM fueling to see how things work in the ECM.I am closing the chapter on this round of V2 tuning. I don't know of any existing bugs so I will deal with them as they come up, but I am VERY VERY VERY happy with what can be done now. A user can EASILY tune their own truck using only their cell phone and a few minutes without needing to know the in's and out's of tuning. On the fly tuning can be done by selecting from up to 10 different tunes on their phone. 1/2 power mode, or more exactly user defined power mode, can be turned on by selecting lvl1 on the screen. No delay. no need to change tunes etc.I have to give a big thanks to the beta testers out there, They have given me a TON of data / feedbase / suggestions. They have put up with loading tune over tune over tune to finally get things sorted. @TFaoro , @Carbur8tr @Mopar1973Man I know there are others, but I can't think of them now. In depth documentation has been completed. If you plan on running the Quadzilla Adrenline V2 tuning please read these. Quadzilla Tuning InDepthQuadzilla V2 tuning FAQthings I still want to tackle in the future ( no timeline no promises, but stuff I am very much interested in doing)-Torque Management.....It can be defeated without killing the dash. It prob won't be smooth or really that DD friendly when using high throttle, but it will overwhelm TM at the track. ( techinically if you build a tune starting at 115% and ramping up to 130% fast you will notice a significant decrease in TM...race tune only!!!)-Ecm data. I want more out of the ECM. What ? I dunno, but there is more to be read, what good is it? no idea, NO NEW PEAK POWER TO BE FOUND. sorry nothing to be found-Coolant reading over 204* would be nice. For whatever reason the ecm doesn't seem to report beyond 204*f for whatever reason, it does to the sci bus just not the j1939 bus.....- better / more in depth MPG features to help the driver know if their driving style supports good MPG. maybe even a bit of code to automatically lean out fueling when at cruiseAs I said don't take any of that as in stone, it might happen...it might not... I dunno, but it is on my mind, mostly the TM stuff as I hate that you guys with late trucks need to kill the dash.So what to do from here? Lets get some data coming it! I want to see what tunes you are running with before and after videos with datalogs. Lets open up the 24v tuning market and enable anyone to feel like they can tune their VP44 Powered truck.

WTS Light time issues
I would guess your IAT sensor is stuck reading cold. I don't know much about 3rd gens but on a second gen the WTS light stays on only for a split second when it is warm.

Friday Funny.
I always just imagine behind the "we nitrogen fill" signs is a normal air compressor hahahha

OBDLink
Alright, Update for those guys wanting Boost on their OBD Link Give these a try early Trucks (A*2)/7 = Boost reported in PSI Late truck ((A*2) /7) - 11 = boost reported in PSI.

You can't download the V2 stuff yet. Still working bugs out.

The tune I sent you is not a V2 beta tune it is a V1 tune. You might want to read through the tuning article I wrote for the quad. It goes into details. about tuning for both the V1 tunes and the V2 tunes The V1 tuning can be surgey at light throttle, just the nature of the beast. The v2 tuning solves that.

which is why he needs to launch that high. The engine would run like garbage on the street with static timing set at 32*. 32* at 2500 is signficantly more timing, compared to piston vs TDC than at 4500 rpm. Remember the faster the motor turns to more timing you need to get detonation at the same point compared to TDC.

Great Songs
I know autotune plays a large role, but I like this song for out of my normal box Might as well throw this one in there also NWS Bad words and such, but good principle in the lyrics.

yes, Just flash the beta tune and update your vehicle on the iquad app to the beta stuff.

Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
Older quad tunes, keep the quad turned up to max level, keep tps pump min at %20 and set timing at 8* with 100% scaling. Most importantly keep the quad turned up. old quad tunes scaled the timing based on levels so if you run on lvl 3 you might only be cruising at 17-18* of timing

Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
yep if you had it set to 99 and you went WOT without psi being at 10 it would have set your PSI at 10. that must have felt like the truck was going to wrap itself around you.
-
Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
only if boost input is below 10psi and tps is above your tps pump max setting. I don't know if I that section of code or not, but I guess I can see how it might be "handy" for a stock injector truck. or maybe a truck with a bad map sensor? I dunno. I always recommend tps pump max being set at 100% though.

Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
0-10 psi is where the timing reduction comes into play. most at 0 psi least at 10 psi most at 100% TPS least at %40 tps. There is no user setting to set this map, only how much timing you want to pull max. If you want to force more timing reduction at lower areas in the map you can use the scaling function. Really 2.5* of reduction is enough to hit the low of 8* so using 5* with %50 scaling will force that timing lower down. however as a side note I would suggest you just use more tps input haha as another side note here, If you have your pump tps max set to anyhting below 100%, when you more your throttle to that point and if boost is below 10psi, your boost map will be based on 10psi. IE the quad pretty much makes psi = 10 if you go above your TPS Pump max tuning variable.

I just found that we can read PSI from the plug under the hood. so I can use ecm boost, which will account for atmosperic pressure.....then once psi hits ~20 I will jump back over to the old map to allow for higher than 20 readings, you can't understand how happy I am about this. I am all ears about timing up top. like I said I am willing to try whatever, but I need to understand the theory. As for seat of the pants feel, I think if you ran an aggressive offidle tune you could do a seat of the pants tune. Starting at ~103 or so and ramping up quick would shove a ton of fuel down low. I don't suggest that type of tune in public, but the good thing about this tuning is you can if you want to. Sadly seat of the pants torque = smoke offidle. I am happy with my tune at this point, but I am sure an edge will make more under the curve power for the first 5 ish psi. I am happy to hear the fueling is smooth compared to the Edge.
