  1. In my shop, I have cardboard boxes with fiberglass insulated flex duct. I buy some stinky liquid fabric softener, dilute it and put it in a spray bottle, and just shoot it all over where those little bastards like to cause their damage. I also keep a monthly reminder starting in August to get after the mice with poison, traps and that stinky spray until the cold winter sets in.
  2. That Serp brings back memories when I had a 92 E-350 with the old 7.3. I was going up I84 at the 3 corners of NY, NJ, and PA. Taking that big grade with the pedal to the metal, and that belt fell off and whipped around like a whip taking out hoses and wiring. So I had to call a wrecker, he said, "Where do you wanna go, Ford dealer?" I said, "No, to the nearest auto parts store." He took me there and luckily I had a helper with me who ran and got the parts while I did the surgery. I later changed the idler assembly that was always screwy on that van. Oh well, end of story.............
  3. I guess he is lucky he was carrying such a heavy load that it allowed the frame to buckle over.

  5. I told the new owner of Big Blue to visit your forum, so he can get some good tips on keeping her running. I am sure you would like to have her back any ways.
  6. I am a traitor too, but I still stop in and see what is going on:popcorn: I had a Freightliner with an ISB, I traded up for the simplicity and versatility of a Sprinter van.
  7. Maybe MoparMan will know, he is the computer geek
  8. Go to Youtube RMB over the video and select embed, and you get a long link like this.<object style="height: 390px; width: 640px"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I8mWmRSVrbM?version=3"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I8mWmRSVrbM?version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="390"></object>I never knew it was as easy as the link at the top of the browser
  9. I tried that with the long embed link? Ok here is goes http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=I8mWmRSVrbM Right on ISX I never know you would use the short link to embed?
  10. Maybe she is something along these lines Some one has to teach me how to embed?
  11. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, you never know, she might just get what she is looking for. Gotta give her credit for trying. :thumb1:Look at the old codger the late Ann Nicole Smith had.
  12. I commend that pastor, for being a good citizen in the face of the Gestapo.
  13. I thought you might find the following article from snopes.com interesting: http://www.snopes.com/crime/warnings/bottlebomb.asp
  14. A friend of mine actually was born and raised on rt. 214. I will ask him about the columns, it used to actually be an arch. There is a fire tower at the top of the trail. As for that plant, those shoots were very hard on the top, and that plant was past the 3500 mark. --- Update to the previous post... Ok, here is the story. 1 the trail leads to a fire tower so that was very significant back in the day. 2 The pillars that were once an arch were built for Camp Cloverleaf. I have some more pics of an old broken damn that used to supply the camp cottages. Enjoy
  15. Yes, but how do you know it is a problem, unless you connect a high side gauge? You usually do not get a gauge and suggested pressures with the DIY kit.
  16. Here is a topo we hiked pretty much in the center going to the west towards Hunter Mountain, http://www.trails.com/topomap.aspx?trailid=HGN205-054 We have lots of mountains around us, but plenty of settled flat land as well, we live in a very large valley called the Hudson Valley. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hudson_Valley
  17. Went hiking at Becker Hollow in Hunter NY on Sunday. Elevation was was about 100' per tenth of a mile. Started at 1850' and ended up over 1350'. We never got up to the view point, but will hit it in a couple of weeks, was not ready for a major climb. I guess less then 2 miles seems easy looking at a map. So it was FLman, FLwife and FLdog. Mopar Mom, can you identify the plant we took a pic of at the top of the mountain?
  18. Thats great, hopefully the problem is solved.
  19. I did the same thing with my Freightliner, but now I have a van with and AT, I just put it in D and floor it
  20. Actually all I give my son for his Birthday and Xmas is tools, he is 20 and it encourages him to tackle car repairs, he is a little insecure about it, waits until I am home from work, and walks past me and says, I am going to fix the car now. I just gave my 15 year old a neat little tool kit for his birthday too. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00944013000P?keyword=099575440137&viewType=gal&sLevel=0&prop17=099575440137
  21. You can do what ever you want to your skin, body art is not a tat under your sleeve. It is: http://www.myspace.com/katvond/photos or http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3107/2287062374_426265da6d.jpg Or http://www.hulu.com/watch/61336/saturday-night-live-turlingtons-lower-back-tattoo-remover
  22. So, these don't require a check valve in the AT spin on filter? Some TSBs, but does not indicate the stalling like we got with our Jeeps, actually stalling was intermittent, but delayed engagement was more consistent. http://dodgeram.info/tsb/2005/21-016-05.htm http://dodgeram.info/tsb/2006/21-007-06.htm
  23. Is that your daughter? She is a cutey, I had 2 girls and 2 boys. Now I am dealing with 2 grand sons. Gotta love Em.
  24. You know, I think about all of these young beautiful people that have destroyed their skin with body art. What will they look like in their 60s?
  25. Too bad you cant burn them in the Cummins for fuel, you could go a few more miles
