  2. Bought a new truck so have a new trans pan on ..... Also have a new one in shed ... lmk if you need one might be able to do an OK price Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
  3. think your right now thinking about it !!
  4. Orice tube included here ... FOUR SEASONS Part # 56828 Liquid Line; w/ Orifice Tube <== comes in liquid line Arent I missing the low pressure line though ? The other line ?
  5. Yeah I think thats where I will end up getting them .......... Right now I have parts 74983 , 56511 ,56828 ,1321241 , 1411266 not sure if I am missing any ...... like the low pressure line ......
  6. I have all the parts in my rockauto basket at the moment ..... just some parts shipping from 2-3 warehouses so 2-3 shipping charges ...... and also some parts have multiples and not 100% sure if a direct fit as cant see the difference in spec ....... so its like a 95% confidence deal ......
  7. Basically got to put in a whole new AC system. Have evaporator in dash and compressor thats it.Need condesor in front, drier/accumulator and all lines ....best place to buy to make sure I get a direct fit ???
  8. Just free market And yes. It just bars the flywheel you just need to be able to hold it in place whilst working
  9. well that doesn't sound good if compression is ok ........ bearing/rod ?
  10. To heck with the tool What were the results ?
  11. Hmmm .... On my end have been through 4 sets of injectors with no change in stalling. And the common basis to all people I've seen with same issue is a tighter TC.Seems to be something with the TC providing a preload on the crank/engine .... And the fueling not being enough with certain injectors to overload it so it stalls .... I tried Stock, rv275, 75 vco, 150 sac ... Stalked with all 4 ....
  12. Could be except the TC doesn't lockup from P/N->D as far as I know ...... Don't think anyone ever really pinpointed the issue ...... just know your not alone , its worse in colder temps ..... You can try changing injectors ...... made no difference for me. Easiest I found to work with it was as soon as I started to move to D ........ and then just brake hold it. Now I moved to FL .... less issues ........
  13. Wild and free is correct .... There's even a couple threads on this site .... Not just limited to jammers though When did you do the TC ?
  14. Never heard of 400 bar ...... that sounds outside spec ....... I think its listed in the manual but my understanding is 280-310 bar. http://www.competitiondiesel.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-74986.html "Pods are still in the 245-250 bar range. P pump injectors are generally setup in the 260-280 bar range, VP injectors are in the 300-310 bar range." "Most performance injectors for 12 valves seem to be set between 275-300 bar." think this answers it for you (smokem is weston) .... http://www.competitiondiesel.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1361893#post1361893 "Who said 380BAR? I would not suggest it, never seen or heard of one being set nearly that high." Id check with your builder ........ and then validate the timing ......... around 18-21 degrees on a 12v and between 280-310 bar ...
  15. wrong pop pressure ??? Thought 12v should be at 280 bar ........... but depends on pump also ........ wheres your timing set ???
  16. Id just go with that unless you had other experience.Too many trucks running a single filter with no issues to be too concerned. Put the $$ elsewhere.
  17. Think that's bad - post it on CF and see what awaits you. http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/98-5-02-non-powertrain/622927-smoke-switch-98-5-00-help.html Point guys are trying to make is there is a time an place for everything. But generally 17 year old kids trying to black out a prius because they can - doesn't help all the issues with EPA and people getting badgered just for owning a diesel. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CVdMySWfAIQ&noredirect=1 But we've all been there ........ I enjoy the power as much as the next guy ..... if someone ticks me off I can sweep them with fuel rather than a finger ....... but generally I like to keep it smoke free ...... I actually think its cool to take off faster than a hemi charger ..... and leave little smoke to tell what happened ....... you see people look at you like ...........
  18. Hey Bill - so you stopping off on your FL trip - when is it ? Yeah it kinda of has been dragging on for a number of weeks and then this last minute title deal - was just trying to see if it could get worked out safely. IN the end I just came to senses and cant go through with it without a title. I think it will all get worked out. BUt going to be 2x as careful now with regards to items on truck and communication just to be sure rest of sale goes through well. Probably another 2 weeks. If not - Ill look for another truck ......
  19. Sorry guys for lack of update - was sorting this out last night - and I only got 1 email saying thread was updated Anyway firstly thanks heaps on the info. I eventually came to the same conclusion myself and have told the seller I cant do anything without the title. I think everything is fine and we are still going ahead - but it will be another 3 weeks before I see the truck. Short story is the bank has the title as it has a lien, he has written a check to pay that off but by the time the check clears and the head office who holds the title releases it to the local bank could be 3 weeks. Was meant to fly out Friday on a one way ticket all bought and paid - non refundable as it was cheaper ...... looks like that will be cancelled but I already explained that will have to come off purchase price. He's amenable to that. So ..... we spoke for another hour last night ......... I think this was just a genuine stuffup on his end ....... kinda just bummed as been waiting to get back into this truck for almost 6 weeks now. Better safe than sorry .... so will just have to wait. Thanks guys will keep you posted - if it all goes through I truly think this is one heck of a truck in terms of its capabilities, and how clean it is. keep you posted - might hear more today .... - - - Updated - - - Id thank you 2x man .... but you have enough - hahahahahahahah If it goes ahead you'll be hearing lots from me on tuning the pump ...... its a beast ....
  20. I'm about to fly up to pick up my truck.Seller contacted me and said the bank doesn't have and issued Title its held at the state capital office. They only have an electronic copy or something. He said we just need to do a Bill of Sale and have it notarized ......... that's all thats required. And then when title arrives in 2-3 weeks he signs and sends to me.Kinda checking this out with my bank ......... and tried to call my local DMV but no luck with getting through.Any tips ?? Experience.
  21. Some extra stuff here though ........( I totally agree ^^^ juice/comp is my alltime favourite box ) but there was a reason to my madness ...... 1) Smarty doesnt feel like 60HP ..... its fueling and TM makes it feel like a juice down low where it counts. 2) Smarty is OBDII CAN fuel ..... simpelist install - no wires, no tapping, 5 minutes and your done 3) Generally once loaded - your not touching it ...... 4) Going from stock - to smarty + injectors is a significant leap ........ 5) Once you get there ..... the next step would be to go a COMP and tap the tump. You'd sell the smarty for $450 and buy a comp for $450. NO cost diff. - - - Updated - - - Upgrade to a HE351CW off a 3rd Gen.
  22. subscribed and good luck ......... sound like good injectors ....... should make a difference
  23. Start with a smarty. If you outgrow it you can easily recoupe funds and go bigger. Buy from a trusted seller and you"ll be fine .... You'll be suprised what a smarty and 50-75 injectors do to these trucks ..
  24. ^^^^ this. Can't believe your at 140 towing a camper .
