  1. Anyone know how to tell if you would be better off withA) steering brace B) steering box C) new links and tie rods ? How to tell if you steering box is loose ... I got under truck and pulling on it felt tight but my steering is loose .... No play in steering shaft column tho ... Just loose when steering
  2. Only from what I have read online many say the flatness of the deck is as important as anything for preventing failure

They ray from $450-$500 used - but I got it from a vendor I trust - so knew it was all checked out good Gotta say the more I drive with it - the more I LIKE it .....lmao - bad news Terms of HP - not much different than I was before - as I got rid of the QUAD and got a puck (kinda downgraded) and then got this and installing a new methanol kit.So on theory only230HP + 75 inj + 30 puck + 65 smarty + 20-30 HP between methanol/air intake mods etcSo call it 430HP * 0.85 ...... somewhere between 340HP and 375 HP as a best guess Going to install my he351cw, install headstuds - and possibly stack the smarty with the fueling chip - just too see what 400+ HP is like ........ but will stay closer to this setup longer term I try and find good deals on stuff that I can try and then sell for little loss if I dont like - kinda fun when I have the time which isn't much lately ......

  8. Well I got a good deal on a used almost new smarty - so I bought it to see for 1+ month - as I will get (most) my money back.Interesting stuff. I have it stacked with my powerpuck and using level 8. Its pretty aggressive down low with the torque management and the fueling. Overall I would say I like it better than my EDGE or QUAD for responsiveness and DD - just not for the features (no display, no adjustment on the fly).I cant imagine what it would be like with a fueling box like TST. .Any1 wanna lend me one for a month !!! HAHAwowza

Reviving this thread ........ sold my original setup a while back ............ now I have put in a STAGEIII which does a EGT/boost mapping to allow for smoother injection cycle - plus a heads up display for injection rate.Just went in tonight ---> gimme a few days and will do some video/pics and some ideas of what I am seeing. Mainly doing this for EGT control towing etc.
  10. ??? Head Gaskett ?? Dunno man thats weird - even the HY would still be in its compressor map range at up to 25-30psi which your not running just driving around town. And such quick spoolup with the hy35 would think efficient at lower end So 1) More air flow with the 64/13 at the same rpm/speeds better combustion/efficiency 2) Lugging a little before in town in OD but not as obvious with the RV275 ? I more inclined to think its both like the extra airflow cfm and the runnning without OD. Injector style plays a role too ... I get same mileage with my +75 HP CPP injectors as my rv275s and both more than stock.
  11. Someone able to describe this never done much with brakes - and want to look at my rear drums a little as seem to not be doing any breaking ........ want to see if they need adjusting or replacement etc ....
  12. If you have the receipt and its the last 48 hours I would make a video as you dump it. At least to get your $130 back at a minimum thats a big hassle man - assume the water in fuel cel didn't kick in ?
  13. ?? Where did you last fill up ? Got another car to go get some diesel ?? Id get a pump and drain as much fuel out of the tank into a fuel container. Then refill with fresh fuel. Bleed/prime and restart. thats a bummer dude - seriously:banghead:

  21. Another man saved mike !! And good job on the injector swap - more balls than me - I had ryan help me do it the first time - then I was ok to do it the 2nd

Compressor/Inducer/exhaust so like 62mm compressor wheel, 68mm inducer and 12cm exhaust housing for a 62/68/12 Compressor for the air flow (reduce EGT and fueling/power) inducer/exhaust for amount of drive pressure and exhaust flow and spool up effect. But they kinda all work together - I really like the 9cm housings for spoolup and never really saw large EGT drops for larger ones
