  1. Some history..laid my truck up for winter, got it out and did a oil change and fuel filter change before I started driving it. Drained the fuel bowl so I bumped the starter about 5-6 times to allow it to fill before I started it, still ran dry of fuel. Cracked injectors and got it running but was stumbling a bit from air. Lasted about 1/2 hr before it cleared but also caused engine light on with 1690 code. Finally cleared up and light out, but the truck still has a different sound then i'm used to, more of a pingy sound and once in a while it seems to stumble when taking off. Today about a month since the first case, I started it and engine light came on and stumbling alot @ idle, clears itself at about 1200 rpms and work fine, good power. Called my local Cummins dealer and talked to the guy I go to, he said from his info he'd point to the crankshaft sensor first if he had it there as its the cheapest and easiest place to start. I put a new sensor in and started it up, still runs like crap. So next it checking for wire chafes I guess and wondering if anyone experienced the same thing and where they found the problem. May help me cut some time and searching down Have video but cant upload it here
  2. May be a stupid question, but have you checked to make sure your fans are all clean and working so it's not just overheating ?
  3. My bet is they already have cures, especially for cancers but there's too much money to be made by letting people be sick. I heard of one guy where I live taking 6 new study type cancer treatments, over $100 000 by the time he's done, this is on top of already going through cancer treatments for the past year which cost who knows how much. Why would the drug companies ever want to end this constant guaranteed income? Besides that, if people didn't get sick and die, the world would become way to overpopulated
  4. Haha...it's not for me. My father in law has it sitting in his garage and says he want to put it in his truck
  5. Anyone have the wiring schematics for a Model A-69? I'm not having very much luck finding some free info
  6. I bought an 01 gaser expecting to use the overhead in my 02 diesel. I'm expecting to have issues with plugging it in as I think the two harness set ups are different so may be best to find one out if the same year and engine truck.
  7. Ok thanks. Thought I better ask because I wasn't sure if I would cause VP computer damage or the ECM/PCM
  8. Fellas, is it going to screw anything up computer wise by taking my both batteries out for a few months? I lay my truck up would like to take the batteries out and trickle charge them all winter. I store it to far away from a power source to leave them in with a trickle charger on them while in the truck
  9. Repitition. If you want them to go in the woods keep taking them to that spot soon as you go out. Once they do their buisness i'm sure a small treat would add to the message that is where they are suppose to go
  10. Our practice has been after any playtime in the house or if they are sleeping, as soon as they wake take them out. All in all I bet when we housebreak we have them out every half hour and they soon get the idea that outside is the only place they go to the bathroom. Housebroke our current dog in less then a week if I remember right
  11. Good explaination You will never regret getting this pump IMO. Best money I spent on my truck
  12. They actually told me that Cranberry Juice is in fact good for bladder infections, but do contribute to the formation of Stones in some people
  13. Just curious as to why you'd want to bypass it anyway? If you blow a belt off your Fuel Boss the system is designed to automatically start the electric pump back up to keep you supplied with fuel:whistle:
  14. She's just starting to throw good heat when the stovepipe is cherry red:lmao:
  15. Haha. I've heard the woman giving birth comparison and all I have to say to that is why the h**l would any woman do that to themselves on purpose?:lmao2:I've been reading the beer theory and actually studies do show it helps, but studies show that it can also contribute to stones in some people. So many things they say can/can't contribute to them it's scary. Thanks for the well wishes and info tho . I'm sure after I pull the fishing line with the slinky out of me Sunday i'll feel much more comftorable.
  16. LOL..two of the nurses at the admitting department said I have to start drinking beer also. One of them was about 70 years old and said she loves her beer, and has never had a stone. My father in law drinks it almost daily, he says the same thing. I had one blasted after it lodged itself back in September, got to experience the rath of pain out of that one for sure! This latest one I felt coming on last Sunday and new enough to get to a hospital but wasn't quick enough to get treated before the attack hit. Another one lodged and the pain began. After 2 days of extreme pain waiting to see if it would pass through the doctor said he wanted to insert a camera and grabbing scope into the bladder to get it. I'm in recovery now with a stent still inme which I dread hauling out when it comes time, but I'll deal with it. I remember a friend at work saying he was in South Carolina working for work and he had a stone attack, went to the hospital and just Ct scans and testing with no procedure to remove it cost him $16k. I couldn't believe it! This is my second time, and add a surgery to it and I walked out of the hospital with no bill. I don't always like paying high taxes, but at least I'm getting reimbursed for some of it I've been paying for the last 30 years
  17. Who's had them? I'm on my second round since September. This latest one I had to have surgery to get the sucker out. Sitting here still feeling like my back has been run over
  18. When I saw it I figured it was a fuel designed for the newer diesels with the EGR and DPF's.I didn't look at the price per/litre or gallon, but when I asked the attendant about it, he said the price is the same and that they are not allowed to charge extra for the additives due to gov't regulations? No idea why...I can't see them adding something and not making extra money from it. What would be the point of that? Surely it's not something to help the paying customer out:rolleyes:
  19. I know this is out there, but about 4-5 years ago I said the same issue. Happened, then it would fix itself, happen again etc. One thing I noticed was as soon as I would put high beams on, the gauges all came back, put low beam on and they'd all go out again. Weird but thought i'd add 2 cents on a similar experince. Luckily my problem vansihed on it's own. Shouldn't open my trap though because now when i go out tomorrow watch it happen!
  20. That's to bad but hopefully you'll look back and it'll be the best thing that happened to you. I work for a tire company too....none of them are ever happy with just making a good living and keeping people employed. It's all about cutting people back and gaining more of the market then anyone else has so you can drive the other guy out of buisness. The way of the corporate world as we know it nowdays. Sad!
  21. Had my light coming on randomnly, ended up being front pass side. Replaced and all's good
  22. Fellas, what do you think a 5600 6 spd out of an 01 4X4 would be worth for parts? Supposedley the complete transmission minus the 1 3/8 shaft. Story i'm getting is they parted the tranny so they could get the big shaft vs the small one they currently had. Only issue I have with that story is going from the 1 1/4 to the 1 3/8, wouldn't everything else be different inside?
