Towing toy hauler
I don't have a door sticker on mine but it definitely came with 265's as my speedo will attest.

Wheels and Tire Setup
Nice man! Congrats on all that! I'm kinda jealous! Wish mine sat like that with the 2in spacer. Here's mine right now, obviously on a bit of a slope in my driveway, but you get the idea. Nevermind the 265's

Hmm that's interesting. I never heard of that Walmart stuff being thinner. I'll have to keep an eye out for other brands and see how they compare.

Nice, did you move the spring so the ball couldn't fall into it? I've never seen that 2SO but I've honestly never looked for it since I go straight to the Wally World stuff

Oil change
Thanks Mike, makes sense. I saw the Rotella at Walmart for a pretty good price. Figure I'd run that or something similar. I did check for the CK-4 label on the back and didn't see anything pointing it out. What's your guys thoughts on just jacking up the rear to level the truck to change oil?

Oil change
You got no leaks because you have a nice rebuilt engine right?! I'll probably just look into the regular ol dino then. Any specific brand you like more then others? Also, my driveway has a bit of a nose up slope, would I be ok draining oil, then adding about 10 quarts and moving it to a more level ground then adding more and checking level then?

Oil change
I know this topic can get a little heated so I'm really not trying to start that up, just want to gather some info. It's time for another oil change and I'm doing it myself. My dealer raised their prices so it no longer makes sense to take it to them. Here's my questions 1. Currently have 15w-40 dino oil and looking to swap to synthetic. I've only seen Amsoil that has a synthetic 15w-40, does anyone else? 2. If I do put something like Rotella T6 5w-40, what's the chances of making leaks worse or appear? 3. Should I even worry about running a lighter weight oil when my current climate never see's 0* or below temps?

Engine miss
That's an issue. You shouldn't need to keep turning the key on and off until you see the WTS light then start the truck. It should illuminate as soon as you turn the key to ON the first time.

Castor or toe adjustment?!
Thanks for the explanation guys, I'll leave it be.

Castor or toe adjustment?!
So was crawling around under the truck and saw this... Drivers side Passenger side Dont know how they got this out of whack but how to I adjust them? And where should I adjust them too?

Quadzilla XZT
Got it, now I just need to hope the guy I bought it from actually bought it for an 01 lol. I assume it has to be working though since I can feel the power increase and I'm not getting any codes or CELs

Torque Converter Rattle
Can't go wrong with their converters, mines doing great! I need to get a valve cover like that!

Quadzilla XZT
When does the internal difference take place? I have an xzt that I bought used but I believe it's an older unit. I had to get an adapter for it because the po was using it on his 01 and I have the 02.

Torque Converter Rattle
I think they're a few hundred bucks now a days, for something like the gopro hero 4, obviously going up in price for the higher resolution ones. My brother has one and it's definitely a nice to have but I'm not sure I'd buy one just for that. btw I did some googling of you're issues and I found a lot of complaints about the ATS converter but not a DPC. Apparently people were being told by ATS that it wasn't an issue and they were likely just hearing clutches. One guy said when he tore the trans apart found all sorts of burnt clutches and that was the issue. Obviously don't know how much that applies to your situation so worth note.

Torque Converter Rattle
Interested in hearing what this could be. I've heard nothing but great things about DPC converters. It'd be nice to be able to slap a gopro under there and go drive and see if it helped pinpoint where the sound could be coming from.

Wheels and Tire Setup
@TFaoro Haven't seen you on here in a while, where ya been?!?! Also, those tires look real good! I didn't realize your truck had that much of a forward rake, don't you have 2in spacers up front?! @dripley Those prices sound on par for what they go for up here. I've seen them even higher with newer rubber of course. I snagged mine for 150! but that also took quite a lot of craigslist stalking as well.

I like the bent spring end idea. I'm sure it has to raise pressure slightly.

Is roadkill garage only on mtod?

This was a good one. Although I miss the days of road trips and road side patchy repairs. Most of these seem to be fix it up and drag race now anyways.

I didn't stretch the spring, just ran as is and haven't seen pressures below 17 when driving once warmed up. The viton ball does make a difference imo. Here's what the (3rd) Buna ball from FASS looked like when I took it out and was having issues with erratic pressures It's the closer one in the shot and you can see the clear indent. It was stuck in the spring and caused the spring to even collapse on itself like this This is also caused my fuel pressure to increase with rpm. I think youll notice things smooth out once the airs out airs out of the system with the new spring and Viton ball. You can't use the Airdog return line fitting though. It's too big. Hard to tell by that pic but it won't seat all the way so just use your FASS fitting and Airdog spring and ball. also fwiw, if what I just posted didn't work for me I was looking into the regulator as well. Just a tough one to swallow spending 140 on top of the 600 dollar price tag

It's because it's not a FASS spring, it's an Airdog spring! http://www.vulcanperformance.com/Spring-AirDog-17-PSI-p/1v-1-00003.htm and it was probably me talking about it lol. Might also be worth buying the Viton ball the Airdog system uses as well, it's a little tougher material and seems less prone to get indented by the spring.
