  1. Welcome aboard
  2. Torque king site says to put a light film of tacky grease on the bearing retainer. This is what I’m thinking my installer didn’t do and somehow it’s binding.
  3. I was informed that the adjustable rod on SB's hydros is only for pedal placement, nothing at all to do with how far the slave moves the throwout bearing. They guys at Blumenthal recommend 5 qts in the nv4500, I ran 7 with fast coolers.
  4. There is definitely a problem with it disengaging and I don’t have to jack up the rear end to notice it. I haven’t had any slipping yet, clutch holds the power great. Sometimes right after changing gears during a hard acceleration, it seems like I can feel one of the disks contacting late. I believe it was an install error and they should have greased something they didn’t. I installed a valair dd 6 or 7 years ago it never had any issues with it, even with off the shelf parts store hydros. I never ever have anyone else work on my truck for this very reason but I just did not have it in me to pull this trans at this point in time.
  5. I hate to hear this! I just got a SBDD3250 Organic installed and there is no vibration or sound but the clutch does not fully disengage with the clutch pedal depressed. Shop that did the install has put 3 sets of SB hydros on with no change. I did the tests on SB page and told them it was not an issue with the hydros but they wanted to try. They said they will be talking more with the guys at SB and if they have to put another clutch in, they will.
  6. Mine is extended cab and actually has a screw going through a hole in the window.
  7. My old 98 with ranch hand and winch set low enough in the front that the track bar or something else would hit the crossover bar with a good dip in the road. A 1" level fixed the issue but after a while I wanted a better ride so I went with Thuren's 2" coils and his white body shocks and the ride was alot better. This current 98 looked great with a rake but the springs were worn out and had rubber spring helpers between the coils so it rode pretty harsh. I went with Thuren's 2" coils again and Carli's signature series shocks and the ride is alot better but I wish it had a little more of a rake to it. I also have adjustable track bar and control arms.
  8. Happens to me as well when Im on my phone.
  9. I just looked and they are still $2.63 each. https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/dodge,1998,ram+2500+pickup,5.9l+l6+diesel+turbocharged,1400162,electrical-bulb+&+socket,headlamp+bulb,11701
  10. Redline makes a GL4 https://www.redlineoil.com/mt-85-75w85-gl-4-gear-oil I have been using Blumenthal's nv4500 oil but i heard they no longer ship http://www.blumenthalmfg.com/
  11. Rock auto must have been having a sale when I bought mine back in january for $2.68 each.
  12. I got a set of these from rock auto several months ago. I havent wired up relays to them yet but they are still a bit brighter than stock. After reading your post, I will get some relays and wiring.
  13. Does it hurt to float gears with the brass syncro's? I thought these already had brass syncro's and that is the reason we have to use gl-4?
  14. Send it back. Now is the chance to get the other turbo if your not sure about this one.
  15. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with that 62/65. Hang it on and try it out!
  16. Mike is just too hard on his truck and now his tires are too small!
  17. It seems like mine would hit about 40 psi right out of the box, so i never adjusted the gate.
  18. I think you will like it alot with your current setup. I ran a smarty/edge comp with 7x.010 on my old 98 before I p-pumped it and that truck was a screamer and I still had hx35 on it.
  19. I think the race cover is supposed to flow more than the original cover.
  20. That is a great price! Mine was about a grand without the race cover.
  21. I wish I could help out with that setup but have no personal experience.
  22. I think you would be happy with the 62/65/12 or even 14cm exhaust with those 7x.009. I ran a 62/65/14 on my old 95 with 5x.012 and pump tuning and it ran great! Made 421 hp 946 tq with that settup
  23. Do they just come and tow broken down cars away in Idaho? 310, still just a baby
