New comer needs advice
Welcome to the Fam, where you at in Tx? I would love to get 20mpg out of my 98 but if your like most you want more. My grandpa put on a propane kit and has hit 23 on the highway with his 01.5 2wd 6 speed. You could probably get a little bigger injector and get better mileage out of it, maybe an rv275 or up to a 75hp injector set.

leveling kit
You dont need to remove the fender liner, get the shcok bolts from the top of the fender under the hood. Lower the sway bar, remove the bottom bolt of the track bar and raise the frame off of the body with jack stands and lower the front diff to the ground after you remove the wheels/tires. What kit did you get, springs or spacer? How big?

Front end popping noise?
I was going to suggest control arm bushings too. I had the same pop in the floorboard, replaced them and no more pop. I wish I had used good polyurithane bushings because the rubber is already starting to crack again after about 4 years.

Remote control speed boat
A plane you can land on the water would be fun too.
-
Better steering with more weight
Got a new 3rd gen track bar with less than 5k on it.

Remote control speed boat
Good:hyper: Planes are hard to fly and helicopters are even harder but if the boss is footing the bill get 1 of each.

Remote control speed boat
Okay I wasnt reading it right, you can run 6s so two 6s lipos run in to the esc would be fine as long as they arent run to eachother to make it 12s. Let us know how it goes.

Remote control speed boat
Do the batteries go on either side of the boat or in-line with each other? Im thinking you want 2 3s lipo instead of 1 6s lipo to keep it balanced. I guarantee you will feel 10 again.

Better steering with more weight
My steering parts including box have less than 20k on them but my passenger side does set about an inch lower than the driver side. I dont know if I need to adjust my cam bolts in the lower control arms or just get new springs but it has just started sagging in the last 4 or 5 months. I plan on getting new 2 inch lift springs and new cam bolts, as one of mine has come apart, in the near future.

Thats a good charger and 6 s should fly, what is the mah on the battery? Did the boat come with 2 7 cell batteries or just one?

Remote control speed boat
My traxxas boat and truck will go over 100 yards from me, alot further than you would think. The lipos wont die but they will get low pretty quick. Make sure you change the esc in the boat to lipo mode so you dont hurt the batteries. If you not familier wil lipo batteries, they are a different animal and require some care when charging and storing them. I always balance charge my lipos and discharge if they are gonna be put up for more than a week. What charger and lipos did you get?

Better steering with more weight
I was lucky enough to have my brother visit me this last week and he road in the truck with me a few times. Usually my truck steer's pretty good but it seems like im constantly moving the steering wheel a little side to side. MY brother weighs probably 350 or so and with him in the passenger seat my truck has never handled better, it just went straight and I wasnt moving the wheel at all. What could I do to get this all the time without putting sack-crete in my passenger floorboard?

Remote control speed boat
Awesome!! You definatly got the baddest of the bad, that boat will fly with the right batteries. What batteries came with it, traxxas 7cell? Get some 3s lipo batteries and it will really fly but you will also have to get a changer with it for the lipo. Lipo doesnt gradually get slower like those 7 cell will, it will go and go and go and then just cut to half power. You gonna have a blast with that boat!

Water pump
Ya, thats what it looks like. I never noticed any swinging before other than when I had the high idle box and got low temps.

Water pump
I replaced my water pump a few months ago and ever since I have had fluctuating temps. The new pump is a bosch from pepboys and had a shroud on the impeller and the old unit did not, I also noticed the new one was harder to turn than the old one but that is to be expected. My temp used to set right around 188-194 and now driving down the interstate at 70 I get swings from 188-222 today. It would go up pretty fast and come back down to around 200-205 or so but I cant help but theink its the new pump. I may try a new radiator cap too but what does everyone think? --- Update to the previous post... The old pump worked great but I did a coolant flush and it leaked from the weep hole afterwards and is the reason it was replaced. The o-ring was also flat but I dont believe it leaked, if I were to put a new o-ring on it would it fix the leak from the weep hole? The bearing and impeller feel tight and spin freely.

Whats your suggestion?
There is a guy on CF that had some used crossover tubes and new o-rings that I was gonna buy but will give you his info if you want them as I really dont need them. I got my crossover tube o-rings from my local cummins shop for about $2 each. For great injectors with even better prices look at Contagious Diesel, Lee has sort of a following and makes good injectors. You also dont have to send cores back until you get your new injectors. http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/pages/Contagious-Diesel-Performance/147994165231032

[TH=class: label]Location [/TH] Mayville, WI

[TH=class: label]About [/TH] Contagious Diesel - Where all your diesel bug bites are treated

[TH=class: label]Personal Information [/TH] Matt - 1 920 382 3312 Lee - 1 920 517 1247 Call or text.
