  1. If cranking slower than normal, might be your starter
  2. Might look better to do a contrasting color from body line down, black or gray etc
  3. Need to check fuel pressure with a gauge to find out what you really have.
  4. Might check with Dynamic. He is a vendor here on the site.
  5. My dad had a 5/8" gear reduction drill that ran very slow and had lots of power. Used it to mix 5 gallons of paint and drill post holes. Stuck tamping bar through "D" handle and 2 guys hang on
  6. I have a portable gas powered air compressor that is heavy enough that it's really not that portable. Recently was trying to dig a post hole by hand but the area I wanted the post in was pretty rocky. I fought with a bar for a while but then drug the compressor and my CP air hammer to the hole. Lying on my belly I reached down in the hole and broke up the rocks with that air hammer. Worked pretty good. Sorry to high jack thread
  7. Use two large hammers. Hold one solid against one side of the knuckle(the hole that tie rod goes into) and whack the other side with the 2nd hammer. You can alternate hitting around the circumference of the hole. If you can get a good swing on it this will usually break them loose. Hope this makes sense to you. Good luck
  8. What I used most recently is some fel-pro with ptfe that I've had for probably 20 years I had forgotten about. Worked just fine.
  9. Probably be dried up next time I wanted to use it. I can spend the $50 somewhere else
  10. How is shimmy different than death wobble?
  11. Just had to recall the little jingle, then it all comes back Too bad I can't seem to recall important stuff
  12. I'd really like to have one of these switches but after talking to the local dodge dealer about enabling the high idle, at first they didn't know what I was talking about, then after looking up the tsb, informed me it was only for auto transmissions. They did tell me they could check my vin # to see if it was even possible on a manual. There are a lot of 24 valve trucks around here and it seems strange this dealership has never heard of enabling the high idle. I've been hesitant to return. Thanks for the opportunity to vent.
  13. My son had a 96 manual dually and he took on all comers. Of course he went through a lot of tires and if I remember correctly 4 clutches and transmissions!! A lot of fun until you gotta write the checks.
  14. I have occasionally experienced a dead pedal and cel with p0122 code ever since I bought this truck, so today I finally decided to order a timbo apps. Afraid it will quit completely out in the middle of nowhere.
  15. Man that dash really looks great!
  16. They must be a real pain, cause I've hit my thumb with a hammer!!
  17. Glad to hear it!! Hope not too badly damaged
  18. You could a little red detail and the rest clear
  19. You can buy a continuous duty solenoid that you run that hot wire through so it will charge camper battery only with key on. Really simple. Do a search for camper battery isolater.
