lookie here... --- Update to the previous post... and who said you couldnt tow with big injectors..sent jaime a message last night and thse are 275 h.p. over stock injectors and is running a bd special turbo.

i have always ran 15w-40 year round since '96...think about on the cold days that all of those gallons of oil sitting in the bottom of the oil pan in the big rigs.talked with drivers from alaska,az,maine,etc etc...and they have no problem with the non-synthetic 15w-40..everyone is different tho.

and '03 with a 7.3 you could just about name your price..and i have heared alot of people with troubles...the computers..head gaskets....egrcoolers....turbo....oh last but not least..it has to oil pumps low and high psi oil pump..

Additionally when you buy injectors they almost always want your old ones back to rebuild and resell, so you have no option other than to buy another set when you figure out you don't like the higher hp ones. that is what i did to have an extra set on hand...i got a set for $90 from an '01 automatic truck with 90,000 miles...and rv275's dont need a core..and then the stock set i am running in my tuck now...so i have 3 sets total.

bet the duramax isn't cheap to work on...i know they arent easy to work on either..lets see..how many bolts to take the valve cover off of our trucks:lmao:and WHAT all has to come off of the engine to just get to the valve covers on a duramax and ford as far as that goes.:lmao2:how is the 8.3 project going?

i co worker has a '08 3/4ton qcsb 4x4 with the 6-speed automatic Aisin tranny..and there is almost a night and day difference..step on it and that thing is sideways and the ride is so must smoother..so far he has had no trouble with the p.f. pluggin' up.

jim..(or anyone please)....with what i have in my sig.. keep in mine i do not hotrod,sledpull,drag race..etcetc..wanna get rid of my hy35...so the hx35 is better for cooler egts..more boost..and can i use my downpipe?getting one of thosehx35/40..what is the difference in those two anyway?i still have my factory turbo from my '03 6-speed truck..are those any good?

or snap-on has some nice crowsfoot tools...i have been thinking about some injectors from jaime also..as you see you can get up to 200h.p. ones for $400..don't think that price can be beat...and me personally would buy whole injectors and not just nozzles..but..everyone is different and know there own budget.so that turbo...would that be a good upgrade for me?i am running the stock hy35 still...what kind of max.boost p.s.i. will they make?another thing is will this turbo accept my down pipe without having to buy a hx40 pipe?cuz i have a 4"inch downpipe and when it gets to the frame it is 5" all the way back.another info is helpful:thumbup2: --- Update to the previous post... oh i forgot to add the the nut that needs to be torqued..where it tightens up at the head...is very critical...to tight and to lose can/will cause it to leak....per mopar
