I like it somewhat , but what is it good for? Does it have vitamin C or any other stuff?

I looked and could not find it. Mike put it on you tube for me probably 3 years ago, I guess the stuff drops off after a while. Mikes right on the compression test, the onlything about the test is do it cold then compare notes with eng hot,warm by the time you get into it, it should still be warm enough. My truck would run and sound like the best eng you ever heard as long as you where idling in the drive way, go down the road 1/2 mile and the miss would start, just slight but you could tell it was there. Drive another 1/2 mile and it was a definite miss. My truck never went into limp mode, I didnt know it was even there. - - - Updated - - - I tried to empty with no luck, all I could do was delete 4

You have only spent 4800, try 9800 on the same symptoms you are describing.Mike and I narrowed it down to cracked piston or block, either way lots of bucks. I broke down and bought used motor and it's been smooth sailing ever sence. Oh, and lots of spare parts now

I think your right, The eng. was hot earlier but it cooled down a little. I ran down the road to the store and when I got back I remember that it was not all the way to normal. It was about 170.

Keep us up to date on your experiment. I changed the oil in my 01 two days ago and it still looks like it came out of the bottle :thumb1:I know they say it dont matter but I like clean oil, I still think the 04's and up will have sluge in them if you dont take extra care of them.My 05 is black before it's to the full mark and I aint even started it yet She just hit 50k the other day.

I know this has been hit on before but could not find it. Anyway I changed my oil the other day and the filter was full to the top, when I started unscrewing it it started leaking out. It was never that full in the past with my other motor, it was always about 3/4. This is my second filter change sence I put eng. in so dont know this motor as well as the other eng. Maybe thats a good thing If you knew my other motor you would get it.

Will the ecm's our trucks survive a EMP?

I did something along those lines years back. I ported and polished the cylinders on a 350 2 stroke yamaha, the motor ran like a bat out - but fowled right spark plug every 65 miles on the dot. If you ran it like you stole it you could get 70 miles before it fowled the plug. I have no clue what I did wrong on the right cylinder.

I keep telling the wife we need to go vist you. Nothing like having your own guide to go see the sites.

Man now I got to go see what I bought, I was going to change coolant in my 05 but now I have to go check with HOTA gods or who ever they are. I bought Prestone 15.99 a gal but thats all I know.

I have been told 1350 is nothing to worry about. My 05 runs just under 800 at hwy speed. The funny thing is the more weight I add it really dont get that much hotter, but you got to watch the hills it will run up on you quick.

Sorry, I just got back to topic. Yea it jumps about 10-20 rpm, dont hear eng. change and I too am running timbo. I have changed practically everything under the hood at one point or another and it still jumps. I thought I had it fixed with cam sensor but it started right back. It seems the cam sensor will stop it for a while but it will bounce shortly after install.Thanks Guys

On my 01 it jumps a little at idle, what's going on? I never payed to much atten. to it.

Could you post a pic of this location? I cant find or figuer out what fittings I need.

If you live up north or drive in cold weather you might wont the stock filter for the fuel heater. If you live in south like Tx there is no problem. Heck I dont even have grid heater anymore, dont need it.
