  1. I just bought this truck and want to drain trans fluid, what fluid does it take?
  2. Thanks guys good post
  3. Not sure what trans is in it but when idling it sounds fine but when you put it in drive it bogs down and dies. Dodge Has new plugs, rotor, wires, trans fluid change.
  4. I just came from the store, catfish 7.99 lb
  5. The COMISSIONER basically said to all protesters to have your funeral arrangements up to date. Governor is not doing anything, I bet he was told to set on his hands from higher up.
  6. What I don't understand is if his family has owned the land since 1870's why the hell are they even there. Some of his cows got on govt land, and now you pay up?
  7. Has anyone heard this? I will try to post it, not good at this but here goes. Didn't work, try back later
  8. Well me being the smart guy that I am I thought I would drain the hot water heater, to get all the calcium and stuff out right. So I hook up the garden hose and turn it on go out side and see how much junk I am getting out of it. Cold water, I go back inside and test the hot water in the kitchen and its hot. Go back outside and its cold, I never clamed to be the sharpest knife in the drawer but you cant tell me the hot water heater is draining with cold water coming out. Like a idiot I crawl around and look and there is no other place to drain the tank WTH
  9. Now were rollin in class, my son was given a racing set with head restraint that belonged to Dale Earnhardt Sr. Don't mean he even used it but it was bought for him. The man that gave it to him raced with Dale back in the day. I thought that was really nice of the guy, he could have gave or sold it to anyone. But you would have to take his word for it and if you didn't know him, well.
  10. When it rains it pours. Got spun in turn 4, killed eng and while in first gear he's rolling back down hill restarting eng dumps clutch to get back into race does damage to rear end. While flying down the front stretch rear end is giving it heck he strips 5 teeth off cam gear it advances timing at 7500 rpm burns hole in piston. If there is any good news out of all that the 0.60 block is still good.
  11. Where do you suggest to get parts from.
  12. Mopartechnician, does this apply to the 48 also?
  13. When I change its right away, with in 10 min. or so. And leave it to me to if the same oil filter.
  14. Being it's out of the truck it would be easy to buff the cam lobes.
  15. I really didn't want to beat a dead horse here. I have been running Amsoil Oil filters eao80's on both my 05 and 01 and both trucks when you change the filter they are about 1 to 11/2 inches from the top. Almost everyone I talk to says there's runs over when they unscrew filter. Mine have never ran over and when I start the 01 you can here the difference until it pumps up. I just ordered two Donaldson elf7349 to see what happens with those. Can anyone share there experience.
  16. Brandon won his heat race, IMCA rules state when establishing points you have to draw for position. Well luck have it he draw 10th, last place. He hunted them down and finished 2nd.
  17. Were in central Tx the Imca track he's racing at is called Cotton Bowl Speedway in Paige Tx. Its a new track and for dirt racing it is really top notch facility with 3/8 mile track. They have the grand stands in good shape but the pits need work. Like if it starts raining your screwed, you cant get out due to the mud and everyone trying to get out one gate. But you take about fun its a blast. They had the season shoot out and they must have had 40 sprint cars, roll overs, pin ins, you name it it was some hard core racing. The Late Models are a blast, 800 hp on dirt, h--- yea. Like I said it's a nice place, if you get a chance come down, give me a call and I will put you to work in the pits lol. http://www.cottonbowlspeedway.com/
  18. My son has been racing Sport Mod now for going on his third year and he is doing pretty darn good .This is his first year racing IMCA. He consistently places in the top five. He started racing go karts when he was around eight. Here he is with his new (straight) body lol it wont last long. Replacing panels gets old quick. If he can just keep it out in front. Oh he has a lot of room for sponsors if anyone would like a spot on his car. Its not real expensive 250.00 a season would get your spot on the rear quarter panel. You can have the logo made and sent to him or he will make logo and install. Are there any other racers out there? I like looking at cars.
  19. Well they don't make the HPE it's a HPF now with W/S and fuel and a small cost of 800.00. WTH I had trouble spending 550.00 on my AirDog If you have to spend that much I think I will look into something else. What, I don't know yet. I think AD and Fass use just about same quality parts, just my thoughts.
  20. My thoughts exactly W F I am looking into the FASS HPE 150 when I get off here. I just don't like the single filter.
  21. I had a AD 100 that lasted about two years and it started blowing fuse. They made good on it, and when it came in a guy offer me my money back on it and I turned around a bought a AD 150, it's been running for about 2 years no problem yet. But I did not like the quick connects, no leaks so far. So what is the next best thing out there ?
  22. Is this 4x4? My 05 two wheel drive 3500 has steering cyl. and tie rod with jam nut and that's it.
  23. So it shouldn't be a problem?
  24. Single key Was in the straight position when I got it and still is now. Thanks Guys
