I'm going to check mine tomorrow and replace if necessary. Thanks ibmobile for that very useful tidbit of info. L8tr D- Big line kit?

@ibmobile How do you know a relay has the resistor or diode? Is that something we should add Thnx d- Big line kit?
A big line kit is on my list as well. Tank to vp44 L8tr D- Protect your lift pump
30 amp should be fine. All I could find was a 40. L8tr D- Shuddering at the 18s
You could rebuild the alt. I think mopar1973man had a post about where to get the parts L8tr D- Need water pump, where to get one
Thanks, I thought I had set one up but didn't so I just added it. L8tr d- Protect your lift pump
Hopefully I won't need the luck . It apprears that I have am little more fuel pressure now too. Using 14g wire to power the pump and connecting to the PDC probably helped there.- Need water pump, where to get one
Thanks Dieselfuture, I looked at oem on mopar site today and they wanted close to $300 for one. The price is much better at Genos. I appreciate all the input. One question, I just noticed my signature isn't showing up. Can you guys see it? Gonna go check to see if it's still there. L8tr d- Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing

I'm lovin the obdlink L8tr D- Need water pump, where to get one
While changiing the oil and adding a relay for the lift pump yesterday, I finally found the small coolant leak I've been trying to find for a while. The right side of the water pump is leaking slightly at the block so I guess it's time for a new one. PO must have gotten a cheapo unit because it only has around 20k mile on it. Anyway my question is, where should I get one and should I get a new or reman. I haven't had a NAPA close enough but one just openned in the area. I have been using the zone. Is NAPA quality what it used to be or are they just like all the other parts stores? Would value some input on where to get one. Thaks in advance. L8tr d- Protect your lift pump
@klcammie I am by no means trying to hijack your thread as I got a relay installed for the LP yesterday. It was a pretty straight forward task. The longest part is making the wire harness to connect the relay. I lucked out on that because there was a short extention between the LP & the ECM feed with the proper connections (i forgot it was there and pic below). It must have been from the second carter pump that was installed by the PO. That made it it much easier as I could make the new harness on my bench. L8tr d- Protect your lift pump
Thank you sir, much appreciated L8tr D- Protect your lift pump
Hey guys real quick guestion. Do I need to use the ground from the ECM when I install a relay or can I just run one to the chassis? Thx in advance L8tr D- Protect your lift pump
I've got the FASS ddrp that uses the factory connection. I keep thinking I should add a relay and this post confirms that. Oil change & relay this weekend. L8tr D- 1998.5 UP Speedo calibration and service manual tire size selection confusion?
Man that looks way too cool. Looking forward to it. Great work so far. L8tr d- Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas to all. A nice sunny 80° day here and got the barbecue fired up for dinner. I hope everyone has a great news years as well. L8tr- 1998.5 UP Speedo calibration and service manual tire size selection confusion?
Sorry for the delay C O. Responded to pm- 1998.5 UP Speedo calibration and service manual tire size selection confusion?
From a relative newbie to the site and to diesels I would love to be a lab rat for you. I currently have the obdlink tweaked pretty good with 11 gauges on my dash. Reguarding the tire size, I used the hypertech to calibrate mine to within 0.02 percent(0.8 miles over 400). Of course gps verified. I realized tire size and rev/mile will be different due to the load on the tire and the deflection caused by that.- Issue that has everyone stumped!! Rough Running truck
I really hope that was the problem. Mystery gremlins sure are a pita.- ABS Light
Was waiting in line at the drive throught for my baconator & baconator fries fix and noticed something on the dash out of the corner of my eyes. Looked at the dash and the abs light came on then off a few times. I was in park and idling at the time so it threw me for a loop becasue I wasn't moving. Anybody got any ideas? I checked alt the other night & ac volts at 0.045. Thanks in advnace. L8tr d- Shredded belt and ...
