  1. I keep forgetting I have heated seat. NEW YEARS RESOLUTION (besides more humor) remember heated seats
  2. Only if it takes too long for the truck to warm up. See Going to be in the 30's this week. Have firewood ready for that. Happy new year to all L8tr d
  3. my response would be all of the above. I wish everyone a very happy new year. Thanks again for all the help & support. Someday when I gain more knowledge from you guys about these magical beasts I hope to pay the knowledge forward. L8tr d
  4. To prime I just open the water drain on the filter until fuel comes out. You might have to run the starter for a short while but it works for me. It's not too messy either. L8tr d
  5. I think the proper length of the spring is 5/8". Google it and you will see a bunch of info on it. Here's my post about it L8tr d
  6. My DDRP was losing pressure so I took it apart & stretched the spring a little bit. I have great pressure now. It's pretty easy to do just remove the aluminum plate & the ball & spring are right there. Take notice if the ball is deformed at all as you might need a new one. Take care of the O ring too. This could get you by until you upgrade. L8tr d
  7. Merry Christmas to all and thanks for all the help and advice. A big thanks @Mopar1973Man for this great site. I hope everyone has a great new year as well L8tr d
  8. I put a NAPA t stat in about a year ago. My temp is usually 190 around town & 194 on highway. No temp swings at all. L8tr d
  9. Try using a cheapo 7" tablet. Much more screen area and can be had for $50 L8tr d
  10. Same here and no headlight or parking lights flash
  11. I vote for #1 as well. My truck is stock except for my FASS drp. Not that I need it but keeping the factory fuel heater can not be a bad thing. Also @Mopar1973Man kept his for extra filtration and the heater (we both beat him to his response) . It would probably nice to have that large object out of the way for better access though. Welcome back. L8tr d
  12. Great that you are happy so far. Please keep us up to date on the ECM. I'm sure a bunch of us will need them eventually. L8tr d
  13. My thought as well. I would verify pressure with a reliable mechanical gauge. L8tr d
  14. Have you verified gauge is working correctly? As @dripley asked mechanical or electric gauge? If mechanical do you have a valve or snubber? Are the electrical connections solid? Is the lift pump on a relay or are you using the power from the ECM? Forgive me if you have answered any of these. I might be reading too fast. L8tr d
  15. I got the led's(yellow front turn & clears for rear) and flasher from amazon. The lights are pretty bright but wanted them that way. They draw 4.4 watts. Flasher works just fine. https://www.amazon.com/your-orders/pop/ref=oh_aui_i_d_old_o6?_encoding=UTF8&gen=canonical&lineItemId=jmokkrhukpouqny&orderId=113-3708659-6637032&packageId=1&returnSummaryId=&shipmentId=Dl1Xjwx29 https://www.amazon.com/gp/your-account/order-history/item/ref=oh_aui_i_d_old_o7?ie=UTF8&gen=canonical&itemId=jmoglsnrslrwun&orderId=113-7735263-4337004&packageId=1&returnSummaryId=&shipmentId=Dr9wghvW4
  16. My ddrp starting losing pressure a few months back. I took it off the truck, removed the aluminum plate and stretched the spring out around 5/8 inch. Pressures much better than stock. I didn't realize the ddrp had the the spring and ball setup in it until I googled it. The ball was in great shape, no flat spots at all. This could be worth a try. If it works you save time & cash. I made a post about it but couldn't find it. L8tr d Found it
  17. That's pretty impressive @Chris O. L8tr d
  18. Once you get some time under you belt with an ac system, you will figure it out. To me it's fairly basic but has a bunch if parts. High and low side pressures are the storytellers of the system. L8tr d
  19. I'm no expert but it sounds like you might have something clogging the system. Do you have a gauge set to check the high & low pressures? That could tell you if you have a restriction. L8tr d
  20. Ain't that the truth. All the stuff I make and you know every little blemish. Most people can't see what you can. I think the bumber looks great. L8tr d
  21. I currently have the manual towing mirror and they are driving me crazy. I'm constantly having to adjust the passenger side. Good thing I live in Florida as I carry an unbrella everywhere and makes it easy to adjust the mirror. Anyway, I'd like to upgrade to power mirrors and am wondering if the wiring for them is included in the truck even if it is not used? That certainly wold be a lot easier than wirinig power for them. I would have to get the control for them which I've found online. Now for the heated part of the mirrows. Is that something that the wiring is there but not connected as well? If so I would have to get the HVAC control with the mirror heat switch in it. I guess it's a little bit of wishful thinking that all I have to do is connect things up and they would work. Thanks for any input on this. L8tr d
  22. Well I've had my new lights installed for a while now and am enjoying them a hell of a lot. Of course the only comparison I have is the old clouded up stock lights. I got them off amazon for a pretty good price. I really like the LED DRL's on them and it gives the truck a new look (especially after removing the bug deflector). Are the the greatest light out there, probably not even closed but they do work good. I also replaced all the turn signals with some LED's and what a difference they make. I can actually see and use the back up lights. I thought about what would be a good way power the DRL's and then I figured I'd use the relay for the lift pump. It was right there and very easy to set up. I got a fused buss for the lift pump and lights fed by the relay. Anytime the lift pump is running the DRL's are on. L8tr d
  23. Great ideas, quick change diodes L8tr D
