  1. Thanks for all your help guys, the SilverMoose is a happy truck now. All things went well and what a difference adjusting the bands make. Thanks again d
  2. Was planning to adjust the bands while I was in there. I will find the post on adjusting them. I probably will have to wait until Tuesday if I can't find good parts locally. I am planning to drain it tomorrow and let it sit until the parts come in. Thx d This looks like the beest thing to get. All Inclusive. http://www.cascadetransmissionparts.com/47regovernorpressureservicekit2000up.aspx L8tr d
  3. That was my next question. NAPA parts are no good. I am assuming where I am that I can only get good parts at dealer and spend a small fortune. These are the parts you recommended? Great prices http://www.cascadetransmissionparts.com/47regovernorsolenoidborg.aspx http://www.cascadetransmissionparts.com/47repressuretransducer2000up.aspx I will get in touch with them about making sure I have them first thing Tuesday. Thx d
  4. That is a great vid. Thanks. Finally got the truck up to temp and I was able to get it to shift into 2nd. I had to get it up to around 2300 rpm to shift. Correct me if wrong but that looks like the problem. I will get a new sloeniod & transducer. Good time for a fluid/filter change as well. I just have to wait for the boss (aka wife) to get home so I can run out for parts. Thanks again for all the help MM & CT d
  5. It has 80k miles and all orignial. Will look into parts. Are they parts I can change myself? Looking at electrical now. Good thing I have Monday and Tuesday off from work. Thx d
  6. Thanks. From the FSm It looks like the first symptoms at the top of the page. FSM pg 21-166.pdf Went for another drive and noticed something but am not sure if it's normal or not. When I have it in first gear it feels like the tranny runs with a more solid (engaged) feel. When I shift to 2nd or D it feels like it is slipping more but will remian in first. Is that normal or not? I checked fluid (but not quite warmed up and is in the safe zone). IS there anything in the FSM for testing (other than with a DRB)? I'm having a hard time locating any tests in it. Thx d
  7. I did drive around in the neighborhood trying that will the same results. To expand further, yesterday I replaced my fuel canister drain valve and put a big line kit on from filter to IP. Could I have knocked anything loose when i was in there but It ran fine after I did that and test drove it. Is there any vaccum used for the tranny? Just throwing stuff out. I will check FSM & any troubleshooting help would be greatly appreciated. Thx d
  8. Heading out to run errands this morning and my tranny won't shift out of 1st gear. It shifts into and out of forward and reverse but I only have first. Where do I start checking things. I'm heading out to give it a look. Maybe an electrical connection? Thanks for any help. L8tr d No codes from OBDLink & no cel
  9. I'm drooling now that I saw it.
  10. Heading there right now for that & a big line kit. Might as well do that while I'm in there. Just got my first sticker from DAP. L8tr d
  11. Yup, replacement looks real easy. I was just wondering if it could be rebuilt. Thanks L8tr D
  12. Thanks again. Guess it's time for a new drain valve. L8tr D
  13. I have a gallon of the walley world tcw3, a measuring cup, a long funnel, paper towels and a box of latex gloves in my bed tool box. Everything is placed in a plastic bin and no mess. L8tr D
  14. Hey guys just wondering if the drain valve is rebuildable? Mine is leaking out the top. I did notice that the top cover was loose and tightening it helped a little but it still leaks. Can I just get some o rings for it? Thanks in advance d
  15. Hope things go well. I hate to hear those words. L8tr d
  16. Thanks for the amazon link Hawkez my sunglass holder latch broke a few months back. L8tr D
  17. My vote would be for full dash. Thankfully mine was replaced (by dealer) before I bought it. It still has a carpet cover though. Just my opinion but do what you think is best for you L8tr D
  18. Like moparman said, remove the caliper, remove 2 bolts that hold retainer and rotor is ready to be pulled off. As Me asked, I think the retainer bolts may be allen but sorry I don't remember. I did all 4 last year including caliper. Pretty easy. Good luck L8tr D
  19. The new Rams have a 6.4 V8 cummins as well. Sorry if that is old news. L8tr D
  20. I would think you could remove the valve and replace it. It's probably larger (and better) than a tire valve but it should come out. 134 freon conversion kits come with new valves so I'm sure you could locate a replacement fairly easily. L8tr D
  21. Thanks again to ibmobile for the relay tip. I did have to replace mine. L8tr D
  22. Great to hear and hope that is the last you have to deal with that. L8tr D
  23. notlimah Mine acts pretty much the same way as you discribed. Low throttle and it can shift harshly. Add sme throttle and it smoothes out. L8tr d
  24. I noticed in the video that the TPS numbers would jump up to 10 real quick that back to zero. To me that doesn't seem right. I can't offer any advice on that but it was the first thing I noticed. The TPS on my OBDLink does not jump around like that. L8tr d
