  7. There's a lot of things I should've done.. right now, however, I'm trying to find what actually holds the glass in place to whatever attaches it to the regulator. I can get the window to go down by lowering the window switch, then pulling the window downward with a hand on each side of the glass... so whatever connects the two has failed. In looking at what little I can find about it, it seems that the glass sits in a 'c' channel lift plate of sorts, but I don't know what retains the two together..

  9. I can tell you, sir, that even with stock injectors, hx35, bhaf, and 5" exhaust, that the EJWA REALLY woke my 2001 up. Nicely, I might add

  13. don't put a lot of faith in that. your biggest hurdle (as previously mentioned) is the lack of airflow.. I.E... HX35. The EJWA is only good for 120 with the hot-unlock and supporting mods. do not expect a 245hp HO truck to jump to 365hp by just adding a EJWA alone. You will see that with your 275s and stock HX, that your EGTs will rocket past 1100*F in short order under load or hard pull. Been there, done that.

He does NOT have a boost gauge OR an egt.. :banghead:I'll tell him to look for gasket failure.I did see a little soot at the exh. mani where the turbo bolts to it; it was about a 1" wide spot at the flange mating seam.The big leak I saw was definitely the v-band flange area.. Soot all over it and adjacent components..
  16. Exactly.. My 2001 6spd did not have the high-idle flash. A friend of mine has a smarty. he hooked it up, flashed it, then flashed the stock map back.. POW! High Idle
  17. Update:It still randomly decided to not downshift when coming to a stop. An ignition cycle clears the problem, but the code returns..
  18. Unfortunately, that, i do not know. I didn't get a chance to test-drive it.. he said under lo-load, no-boost conditions, he doesn't hear it..
