Headlite Lenses....
once you 'restore' them, they definitely haze back at a more rapid rate. I do restore mine about once a year, then wax the crap out of them.. this tends to make them stay clear a little longer, waxing them several times a year.

Awesome OTR rigs
I've always been a fan of the tractor-trailers. I really love to see some stunning ones, as well. So I decided to share my love of these grocery haulers with you.. I'll be posting pics here and there.. Some will be from the internet, and some will be from the road traveled or stops. Beautiful W9 Heavy Hitter

yah, how can an electronic part with no controller circuitry be "out of time"?and how does that wipe a rod bearing?

GSK Install Video
I'm hoping that once it warms up around here, I can do a GSK kit, and set timing, as well as whatever else to get some sort of power out of this truck. As it stands, it's quite a turd, to be honest..

GSK Install Video

I don't know of a 4-gauge pillar setup. I can tell you, though, that the 3-gauge is all you really have room for, on the A-Pillar. And that, in itself, is enough to block your view at times.. I (personally) hate the pillar mount location, but that's where mine are currently located.

It's only appropriate...
I pulled a 16ft camper out of the WV mountains with my dads '88 scsb 1/2ton 318 auto with street tread and pushing snow over the grill and hood back in '89. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2

Guns.....
John, here's my discussion to your responses. Let me start by saying, however, that I totally respect your, as well as everyone else own opinions and stands on the subject. 1) this definitely can be an issue, but I think those that are allowed to carry are more deeply scrutinized and tested to ensure they're the safest individual that they can be, before being allowed to tote. 2) this could be a concern, but there is less to gain for them personally (unlike robbing a bank or something) so the financial investment is less of a payoff. Firearms locked in safes: who's gonna check and enforce this, unless it's after the fact? I agree on the local governmental funding. Hats off to your pops for the.. not one, not two, but THREE PHs.. My hat's off to him and he has my undivided respect. I'm prior service (86-94) and I have the utmost respect for all honorable veterans. I, too, come from a farming background, my father and brothers are/were all prior military, my father has been a sheriff, local LE, etc., and I have grown up around guns. They've always been a part of our life, and we were always taught the rights, wrongs, and consequences of firearms. Something I've never put out publicly, ever.. My oldest brother took his life with a firearm, on purpose. So I could really have a hatred for weapons, but I don't. He made a poor choice and followed it. Granted, it was a double-whammy, as drugs were the influence. (General portion) Bottom line is, I don't think that there's an easy answer or solution to any of this. Making guns illegal will NOT fix this problem. I'll not regurgitate the other illegal items in this country that are readily available, but tools aren't the problem.

1997 Dodge Cummins - Full color wiring diagrams
licoalroller: check codes and ensure you aren't getting the Governor Solenoid code. I got the same thing with my 97, and had to replace the governor solenoid and pressure sensor. It is about $120 for the pair (upgraded HD solenoid, too) plus 9qts trans fluid.. Fixed the problem. Also see if you're getting the OSS (Output Shaft Speed sensor) code. It was a very inexpensive fix, as well.

Ultragauge
I'd be curious as to how accurate it is, this early in the game, in respect to MPGs.. Hell, I wished my 3500 would get 14mpg.. LOL
