1. We had Firestones on the old '94 4 door Chevy dually (502ci, 5 speed, 100gal aux tank, 1/2 sleeper, 5/7" drop, bagged) and they were awesome. Onboard air, etc. We towed a 36ft enclosed race car trailer. Loaded down, the rear bags ran about 40psi, fronts about 20. Not towing, and running empty, it was about 25psi Rr, 15psi Fr.
2. If you look at the picture, there's no amount of adjustment to correct that. HahaSent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
3. I also speak Spanish fluently. And if I smash my finger, I speak french. LolSent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
4. It was all downed trees. But I know what you're saying :)Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
5. OK sorry but my tractor is in front on the truck. But, on the left, you can see the drivers head light's beam clearly. The right one, however, is all over the freaking place. The bulb is seated in the housing and lock ring is in place. I couldn't get my fat hand in there to pull the bulb though.. The truck is about 15-20' from the garage door. 7. Are you talking about the joint on the steering shaft, between the steering wheel and steering box?Or the actual steering knuckle on the axle tube?what are the year models of the trucks?
8. that's straight-up something I'd do to my wife. But yeah, he did tell her to leave it be.. Hilarious
9. Dare il benvenuto al nostro castello di internet!
10. So, my driver's side headlight is ok. well, as good as expected from the non-sport housings.. My passenger's side headlight, however, is PERFECT... ... for coon hunting, or anything else that is NOT on the road in front of you. It shines light everywhere but on the street.. It's not a dull lens, it's not out of alignment (per little headlight aligner dooka-ma-hitchie at the service joint.. It just refracts light, completely oblivious to anything resembling 'focused'. I'm gonna go out on a limb, and try swapping bulbs left/right to see if that does anything (doubtful) but it totally sucks to drive in the dark hours.. I'll try to get a picture tonight of the light pattern, so y'all can see I'm not completely crazy..
11. nice power setup!
12. I messed with this some more yesterday, but still nothing.. I are cornfuzed..
13. Update:So Friday, I fooled around with the tv cable and stuff..I looked at the cable, and the IP end of the cable has a plastice clip/tube thingy. That end of the cable has a steel ball on the end. I found that with all the stack adjustment taken out, the throttle linkage will move about 1/2" before it would pull the tv cable. So, I took some SS lace wire and wrapped around the steel cable (behind the ball-end) to make a spacer, of sorts. I made this about 1/2" long, re-installed, then adjusted the cable. It now pulls the tv cable about 1/16" after the throttle is moved; this is a good thing. Now, the trans will shift about 17-1800rpm, or around 15mph, from 1-2 gear. 2-3 gear change also occurs around 1800rpm, or ~24-25mph. OD and LU still occur around 40mph, though, so this still needs attention.I'll continue to toy with this setup to 'fine tune' this to my liking. Also, I installed the cruise control servo, but I've got nothing.. it doesn't even power on. Also appears there are some pins missing from the PCM to control this, but the schematics are quite confusing..
14. Ain't no damned way I'd even walk in the yard with that kitty kat..
15. Its freshly cut, but been dead for years. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
16. Lol, yeah I keep about a cord in my mud room. It was cut up today. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
17. I made a cb mount today, using a sheet of 1/8" diamond plate aluminum. I made a simple "L" shaped bracket that mounts underneath center seat cushion. I made a simple break press with 2*4s to bend it. http://forum.mopar1973man.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=4743&d=1354475712 I mounted the radio to the right so I have room to mount my snow plow controller on the left. Not bad for $10 Home Depot piece of metal and about 45min fab time. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2

23. So on my old 96, it was a base model with AC only. I bought a CC servo, clock spring, and switch assembly from a JY, threw it in, and presto-whammo! CRUISE CONTROL! :)My 97 had cruise apparently (SLT), but the servo was missing..So I bought a servo, installed it, and wham.. wait.. nope, CC doesn't work..I've studied the wiring diagram, but as usual, nothing at the PCM matches..THere's a yellow/red wire at the brake switch and cc controller. neither gets power. judging by the wiring diagrams, there are wires not where they 'say' they should be at the PCM, but it's really hard for me to decipher, for some reason..Any suggestions or anything you guys may have encountered in the past? I thought for sure, it'd work like my old '96 did.. Denied...
24. To be honest, buddy, I sure do miss this lifestyle.
25. thanks russ. next time you drive it, take not of what rpm/mph it seems to change gears (1-2, 2-3, 3-OD, LU) please..danke
